Help Game crashes during online battle with friend

When battling a friend online, after about 10 turns the game crashes with this error message:

Interpreter:124:in `update'

* Scene_Map:104:in `update'

We battled 3 times and this always happened to me at some point, never to him. Always the same stacktrace. Any idea? Let me know if you need more details.

a couple suggestions:
-make sure the game is completely up to date (the latest version is 1.2.3)
-uninstall the game then reinstall it. (its possible that a file got corrupted with an install)

Haha, was about about to suggest the same things. :>

Reinstalling from the official Reddit has solved issues already a few times, I'd definitely try that.

I think that can also happen if your battle gets desynced. Make sure both of you keep focus on the game - don't click anywhere else or open any new apps.

Thanks for the answer guys! I re-installed the game, we made two more battles and the crash seems to be gone. However we still sometimes get out of sync: when I kill one of his pokémon, he sends a new one, but the game is not updated on my side and it waits indefinitely. It happens both ways: sometimes it's him who's waiting indefinitely, sometimes it's me (always happens when a pokémon gets killed though). We both play full screen and we don't touch the mouse during a battle, to make sure the game never loses the focus.

Is there anything we can do to prevent that?

Unfortunately, the game's online battles aren't the most stable thing even in the best of times.

There is, however, a browser based battle sim in development, and it's definitely a lot more stable.  It's almost done...but there are still some moves and abilities and such exclusive to Uranium that aren't working properly yet because they need to be built almost from scratch.
