The only problem now is they both want to eat the other's food instead of their own.

Oh! That must have been/still is a bit tense and hectic with two hanging around your feet, especially in the early stages of contact! Glad they ended up getting along in the end, though I feel bad for your flooring after they come in after they are done having fun in the mud....

What's the matter with them eating each other's food? That shouldn't hurt either of them, right? Unless they have very specific diets?

Also, are huskies as stubborn as many people claim they are? And have the dogs caused you any major trouble yet?

Puppies are supposed to eat a specific diet, because they aren't very robust yet and they need to grow.

Adult dogs shouldn't eat puppy food because it will give them an upset stomach. Not the end of the world though.

Gita isn't very stubborn because she's half-shepherd (though she looks a bit like a wolf), but my cousin has a very very stubborn poorly trained husky and it's scary. They need a lot of exercise and authority.

The only trouble is tracking mud, like you say. They are good dogs. Oh, Thunder tried to get in the beehives... that could be bad. She was just happily sniffing them. Bees are pretty gentle but if a big fluffy thing tries to knock down their hive they will defend it.

Ahhhhh please protect curious and cute puppy from suffering bee stings and the bees from dying after stinging :C
