So, if Sketch is used on Metronome, does it copy Metronome or the move Metronome picked at random?
Main reason I'm asking is because either is a valid answer without testing it, since Sketch would copy the random move in Gens 2-5 of the main series (copying metronome only if it failed for some reason in gens 3-5), and always copying metronome instead of the random move starting in gen 6.
It's rather hard to test, unfortunately, since you have to either set up a VT or find a wild Duplicat with Transform to do it, since no NPC trainer in the game has a pokemon that knows the move.
I don't have the time to experiment with it myself currently, which is why I'm asking the question here
