Nice touch with Mew holding the Sitrus Berry still, by the way. Makes the reward all the sweeter feeling

Hehe, you think I would forget a small detail like that? My original plan for it was to have it eat it when you used a Potion, then preform high power Arcobatic attacks on Mega Arbok or Felicia. You didn't heal any at all during the battle, since it went by far quicker than I imagined, so it stayed on them. Sitrus Berries are their favs~!

Well, that's what happens when you have a 4v1, where 3 of the pokemon have SE attacks and 2 of the four are also particularly beastly attackers without too much boosting.
Sitrus Berries being Mew's fav is definitely something Reiner is gonna remember
Hmmm...how does a Reckless Rhydon with a Dexterity increasing surprise with Rock Polish (TM move), Drill Run, Stone Edge, and Horn Drill sound? I imagine Giovanni would have no issues with sending Reiner a killing machine, after all...
Do I get to pick an item for it as well?

Nope, Giovanni would have no qualms about that what so ever. He'd even encourage murderous behavior if it provides means to an end! Kinda wondering why you want a Reckless Rhydon....oh. Yes, it
can have an item, if its what I think it is mate....hehehe....

I was thinking along the lines of Reckless Attacks in say, DnD and such. Increased chance to hit foes, but they get the same advantages you do. Stuff like that. Cuz Horn Drill is scary inaccurate. And increased chances to crit with Stone Edge and Drill Run are fun. Particularly the lethal Stone Edge.
None of Rhydon's abilities at base are particularly useful for Reiner, unfortunately :/ At least, not with how I imagine this Rhydon ends up working.
Also, having an instant Rhyperior would be nice, no? This is basically a trade, after all
Of course, in that case, Solid Rock also becomes a really good ability choice...hmmm...now I need to think a little...

There one thing that you missed, partner: Life Orb + Reckless = +
4D6 Damage Dice on all attacks. In addition, Reckless , while I don't think making it essentially No Guard but Extra Damage, I say adding ( + 1 STR and + 1 Accu, but - 2 Defense) is more to my liking. You hit like a truck full of dynamite, but you sure fell it when someone hits you!
Solid Rock will have some interesting intereaction with the Body Armor, though. What, pray tell, is up for you to find out, if you so choose.

Except in the games, Reckless only affects moves that naturally have Recoil (Life Orb doesn't do anything to trigger the ability), which is why that didn't come to mind for me. And Horn Drill isn't one of those moves affected by Life Orb's boost either.
Solid Rock + the body armor...hmmm...sounds burly. Really burly...

In the book, Reckless applies the damage bonus to any move that has recoil, and the way the authors handled the Life Orb was to just to
make it give all attacks Recoil on top of 2 damage dice. If you want, I will happily allow it! Of course, each attack will most likely have more than a decent chance of putting Rhydon in the red quickly, so...
The Solid Rock Upgrade, meanwhile, has no real downsides to speak of, in comparison to what its upsides provide. You choice as always, mate: Risky Offense, or Tank Defense.
Oh, and before you make any decision, let's not forget the $15000 Dollar Varient to the Protector. I'll say that its quite good, mate! Expensive, but you get what you paid for!

Hmmmm....unless I don't have to pay for it...not with cash, anyways. If Giovanni were to pull a few strings after hearing about the body armor, I'm fairly certain he'd be interested in a super powered Rhyperior, wouldn't you say?
Expensive investment? Yes (maybe even going so far as needing to involve the favor). But it could help greatly with the Malcolms...
