Just a thing Windos: You still doesnt say how much XP Reiner gain. I didnt do anything since I only serve to be exploded, but I think Reiner deserve some experience for able to faint/kill the Raticate and all those 30 ratatas. I think he deserve that.
Reiner and Lindworm, and all their Pokémon in that battle gains 10 XP, with Mew getting + 2 XP due to their Sociopathy! Arial and his Pokémon gain 5 XP, simply for participating and for the madman being an (unwilling) distraction for all those Nuclear Ratatta! Arial gets + 2XP too, due to his Bonus and as a partial 'Sorry things sucked for you in that Horde' consolation. Sorry for forgetting about it for so long!

No problemo mate! Many things happened during that event. Its not your fault your forget, so no hard feelings. With that 5 XP, Metalynx have 30 XP...Windos how much XP I need to teach Protect to Melchior and Zeus? Or Frenzy Plant for Melchior? In level of power, Frenzy Plant its the most powerfull STAB move a Metalynx can learn. 150 of power in the game data.

Coolio.
BTW, I'm taking it a little easier today. Trying to destress with some good ol' Poke Radar chaining and pokemon breeding (a bit random, but it just occurred to me that Stenowatt is in the Dragon Egg group. Reiner getting an Acceleration user without a massively expensive/rare Surprise! could actually make some sense after all, lol), and I want to mainly focus on Iron's game for now because of the Gym Battle.

I think Frenzy Plant, Draco Meteor, and other highly specialized, Tutor exclusive moves are probably just most appropriately relegated to being Plot Deviced in how they're learned due to the various restrictions on teaching them. But that's just my opinion, I suppose.
For reference, Frenzy Plant is 6 Power in the book, same as Hyper Beam and its other variants.

Protect is a TM Move, unless they happen to learn the Move in the Learnset. Frenzy Plant you need to get a Special Move Tutor to teach you that Move, which is borderline impossible to find now this late in the campaign. Reiner got away with Kingdra having Draco Meteor since it was part of his initial set up, and you could have potentially done the same, but you didn't and so Melchior is without his Elemental Hyper Beam....

And such tutors are usually a journey in and of themselves to reach, too. The odds of finding one in Celadon even at the start would probably be incredibly low.
Not to mention said tutors are also usually incredibly picky about which pokemon and trainers they'll teach their moves too.
Another Rules Update: Since Iron declared that Weather Buffs do not stack with Move/Item Buff, I will say that they DO in my campaign, along with Field and Terrain Effects/Combinations. That my interpretation, since I don't like limiting myself or players unnecessarily/its more in line with the base games, so that is that!

Awesome! That way, in case Arial and Reiner battle together and they summon they're pokemons, Arial can focus in summon the Electric Terrain and Heliolisk focus in increase his power. Or like this: Kingdra, Heliolisk and Zeus battle together. Kingdra to summon Rain Dance, Zeus EletrEle Terrain and Heliolisk summoning the power of the heavens with might Thunders. One after another.
Maybe Arial could act more of support to Reiner. Since they going to stick together, it's better they act as a team. Thoughts
?

Reiner's Kingdra doesn't know Rain Dance, Yang does (and Clair's Kingdra, but he's not usable atm). And Rain with Electric Terrain is probably a really, really bad idea in this campaign if you recall.
Teamwork would be a good thing, yes. It's just a question of how that will be achieved.
