Maybe I could use that as a last resource...just in case, I will swap a certain item. I change the Choice Scarf for the Quick Claw (For now). Have 2 in initiative might help me in cases of emergency. So that way when the time comes I will not be limited by the the Choice Scarf item.

If I recall, to add one point of Health or Specialitty the price is around 25 to 45 XP if I recall.
Remember that the QC won't grant any Dice to Accuracy Rolls, mate! That could screw some dice rolls over for the metamorphic feline if you forget to account for that!

For Gaspar, while normally I'd allow for a HP Surprise for 25 XP for something that small/low Base HP, since its a Transforming Pokémon and one of the downsides to them is that HP isn't copied from the Target (Unless they have a VIT Surprise!), I would say it would cost 45 XP per point of HP. Its like giving HP Surprises to a Shedinja: its something that would either go against its design, and/or it would make them too strong too quickly.
Hmm...then I wont change it. To soon and too dangerous to get it out such good item. Gaspar stay with Choice Scarf.

Well, 45 XP its a little to much, but I can understand such price of XP. There is not many official pokemon with access to Transform, and the ones who have only have one form like Ditto and Duplicats, with the expection be Dramsama who is a evolution. Guess I should have spare some XP to give Gaspar that nice bonus then. Well, guess it to late now. Gonna grind some XP later.
There's a very, very important terminology distinction here that needs to be kept in mind.  While Vitality influences both HP and (Sp.) Def, the two stats are completely separate from the Attribute as far as increasing them goes.

- HP is how much damage you can take before fainting.  This cannot be increased or decreased through any means except Surprises. (Though Deyo Powder in Skull Ruins can temporarily increase maximum HP, so homebrew items can be exceptions to the rule(s))

- Vitality determines what your normal maximum HP and base Defense value are.  This can also only be increased or decreased with Surprises, and doing so affects both max HP and Def.

- Defense determines how much you reduce incoming damage by.  This can be increased or decreased by moves such as Harden, Iron Defense, Close Combat, etc. in addition to Surprises. Lots of Ability and move effects can also have something to do with influencing/ignoring this stat, unlike with HP related stuff.

A +1 Vit Surprise is equivalent to both +1 HP and +1 Defense.  Surprises that increase either HP or Def without touching the other are cheaper than a straight up Vit Surprise.

Ummm...let me think...

...uh, nope.  Drawing a blank on how long those Transformations last, tbh.  Other than the apparent current rule of 'move effects will only last 30-60 minutes at most.  I've not had Mew use Transform yet (discounting when she turned into a Skitty) and don't remember ever asking how long she can maintain a Transformation, tbh...

Book does say recalling a pokemon will usually end Transformations instantly, I guess?

Then I'll say that Transform will only last 30 Minutes if stretched before/after a battle, after which it will have a 30 minute cooldown. If you get a Crit on its Roll, though, it will last 1 Hour. Might as well keep it in line with Reflect Type, and since Mew also knows the Move, it will make things easier to remember if the duration mechanics are consistent between the Move.
Well, given that Skull Ruins is locked for the next two days and things have quieted down a little irl, I think I've got a good chance to think a little about this campaign again without stressing myself out too much (this campaign just gets more and more stressful by the day though, tbh...)

Still don't entirely have my mojo back yet, but I'll give typing up a post a whirl in a sec.

[Unrelated side note: Uh oh.  A fairy type TM in the other campaign...only need one guess to determine who's going to be very possessive of that regardless of whether it's Dazzling Gleam or something homebrewed...]

My campaign is supposed to be challenging (and stressful, to a certain degree), but if its gets too much its always nice to just forget about it for awhile and cool off. Nice for me too, since I don't have to focus on two threads at once and have more leisure time to read/play games!

The Nuclear Research Facility is not a very friendly or welcoming place, though, and its unlikely to ever change to be remotely like that , so the only thing that can be done is knuckle down and finish it. Or blow the whole place up with a Genesis Supernova, if you don't mind the civil unrest and Consequences that will come from doing THAT, if it's that much of a burden/pain to slog through.

[Well, none of us but Shiva have Fairy type Pokémon to my knowledge {Excluding Gallade's past Evos}, so its not like any of us could use it either. Personally I'd sell it for Poke if I couldn't teach it to any of Terra's Pokémon if its left to me, since he needs the income more than a potentially valuable Move he's likely never to see the use of, outside of maybe one Pokémon he wants/is on my wish list.]

Honestly, I'm sorely tempted to do just that.  Were it not for the fact there's a Cursed Arm in the place, meaning Reiner is obligated to retrieve it before blowing the place to smithereens partially out of sheer spite...kinda hard to talk about finishing it and remain optimistic when we've only just barely started it...

You got unlucky with the first Random Encounter being one of the hardest I made for the NRF proper, but you still handled it rather admirably well, and you are avoiding the other Encounters that are liable to be of similar difficulty (Like the Caferteria). Difficulty is general Moderate to Hard Level for any given portion of the NRF, but given the fact that Reiner, Arial, and Lindworm are all powerful Trainers in their own rights, and you have LOTs of Pokémon/Strats you can potentially use to make things trivial/easier/more bearable, I think you guys will be alright.

The only thing I'm really concerned is the fact that Reiner/you really didn't use all that muns he had to purchase a boatload of Medicial/Anti Rad/Etc. Supplies from The Merchant/Bewears to deal with the Nuclear Hordes found in the NRF. Clearing a ultra dangerous dungeon is much of a test of attrition as it is of chara. strength and capability, so I was rather....concerned when I saw you all came rather under equipped in at least Med. Items. And Spiritmon deciding for Riza to spend at least 2 Encounters looking for reinforcement (Though that was due more to a misunderstanding than not). Might have to dial things back or make some changes in order for things to be 'Hard,Trying, but Fair' instead of 'Brutal Beyond Belief' ...
Quick question Windos: How long do the effects of the Iodine tablets last?
