How weird, shiny Alola-Persian in contrary can indeed be distinguished from non-shiny version... It looks rather nice though, at least to me.
Gengar and Garchomp are easily some of the worst offenders when it comes to their shiny forms. Well, as long as they aren't Mega...
Going to have dinner for a bit, so don't rush on my part!
Interesting note regarding Shiny Persian: It's ears and the gem on its forehead are both slightly more purpleish pinkish in coloration. In GSC, this is much more noticeable than the VERY slight change in the color of its fur (and its tongue is the same color as well. And the black shading used on its sprite in those games is also the same color)
Looking at all the existing Persian sprites, the ears are the easiest way to tell if its shiny or not if you didn't notice the sparkles.
I rolled a Damn 20 on the second Rare Item. A 20. I was going to make you work your gam gams off to get one originally, but the first nat 20 prize for Rare Items is a Key Stone on my table. Looks like Mega Arbok is coming sooner rather than later! The $3900 Poke doesn't hurt matters either, eh?
Hmmm...I just noticed that I'd forgotten Arbok's Expert Belt bonus damage in the fight with Emily...ah well.
And yup, this is gonna be interesting. Guess ya need to buff Petrify a little now

Petrify's buff: You menacing snake is so terrifying that it not only has a plus 1 to Intimidate by default in that form, but
every attack made by it has a moderate chance to Flitch the target ( 2 Chance Dice). That means all you Elemental Fangs has around a 45 % Chance of Flitching the target on top of their Status, but your regular Bite has a
60% to Flitch the target AND Sucker Punch can now Flitch! Talk about Power Creep!
Ah, and how about Technician? I imagine this Persian is going to be seeing quite a bit of use, after all

Technician: It effectively has a +1 to all its Skills, to represent just how methodical and precise they are with all their actions. Had a 2 in Fight, 4 in Survival , and 1 in Knowledge that were all buffed by this trait secretly. This also means its possible for it to actually break the Skill Limit by itself without any gimmicks or Surprises!
Speaking of Surprises, its +1 Luck means that one (1) in is Accuracy of an move may be rerolled once per round. That triple one at the beginning was just bollocks to me , since I place preventive measures to make sure that it hit its attacks mostly hit! Thing were just as bad for me as they were to you, mate! If you get it to hunt for items with Weavile, it also adds a +2 to the 1D20 roll, but you have to make a standard check for the Auto roll and/or have a -1 to a Manual Pickpocketing, since a Shiny Persain is preeeety noticeable...
Alright, and one more question regarding Persian: when you say it has all of its egg moves, do you mean ALL its egg moves, or just the 3 listed in the book and the one you listed individually (Punishment, Assist, Hypnosis, and Amnesia)?
Persian's Egg Moves:
Assist
Hypnosis
Amnesia
Charm
Flail
Foul Play
Hypnosis
Last Resort
Odor Sleuth
Iron Tail
Punishment
Snatch
Spite
Tail Whip
