My idea of it is 'Everyone more or less gets (or has the opportunity to get) roughly the same amount of XP per day' , which means that in order to adhere to it I need Pyra to match/do the highest XP activity of another character too. Levels don't matter so much as the Attributes they represent, and getting less XP than others rather simply equates to lagging behind since less XP = lesser Stats/Moves/Bidding Power. My plans for Pyra Stat-wise are fairly XP intensive, so I NEED to take everyone opportunity to gain as much of it as possible to get them done ASAP. Free days where everyone just goofs off is fine, though, since they act like rest periods for us IC/OOC not to worry about such game mechanics.

That's just me take on it, however, so interpret it in a way that suits you best mate.
Ah I see. What would be the point of that kind of stuff though? Is it just a filler day for some RPing? I've got no issues with that, but I would prefer that dax gets to level up with a little freuqency
(09-29-2020, 05:13 PM)no one Wrote: [ -> ]Oh what did you have in mind for Pyra for the day? I guess we could do a training session with the Poliwrath with the recruits if you'd like Day 4 as a break day? Just to get a bit of experience. We can split up for missions in Day 5 if that's the case.

My plans were to try and go sort out what is Team Artificer's big deal is with Marcus and Team OS in a hopefully positive way for all, followed by stopping by Cofagrigus' and seeing what 2 Bars of Gold will get her (and just for flavortext reasons too), have her spend a few hours of the day sightseeing and checking out Sahra Town more in depth (after selling the Golden Scarves and splitting up the profits), hang out in Kang's Diner for a few hours to 'Pokemon Watch' and see if she learns anything new/interesting, spend some time trying to get her further acclimated with water to overcome her instinctual trepidation of it (and build a greater tolerance to it) by the pier/with Poliwrath (if they oblige her) , and lastly go to Marcus and ask him if he knows where to find any Metal at before grabbing dinner at the Guild and then heading to bed. Fairly simple stuff, truth be told, but it's all enough to fill a day's worth of time full of fun, interesting, and fulfilling Events for my chara. I think.
If not everyone goes adventuring, those left behind might end up in events around town.

Poliwrath dojo can also be a mini-dungeon of sorts for training if necessary, though it's mostly for training recruits that aren't taken to dungeons.

Don't want anyone feeling left out!

See my latest post for the details. In short, I just want to get a lot of Town Stuff and Guild Stuff in a single day without having the obligation to clear a Mystery Dungeon hogging up most of the day's time AND to have some RP filler fun while doing so. Plus we don't exactly have that much in the way of Healing Items and Belly Fillers unless we count those Mini Reviver Seeds as both (which we really shouldn't), so taking a day or two off to build back up those supplies would make our next adventure go smoother.

In terms of frequency, everyone has been growing pretty quickly, relatively speaking. It just doesn't seem that way due to the long gaps between posts.
Yeah, that's true I guess. I'd still prefer to go and clear a mystery dungeon, but I'm open to a rest day too. Call it a peace offering, because I didn't handle that thing with the klink like a gentleman.
I with Windos. We been doing only dungeon crawling in those times. I would prefer some town exploration and do other things. Do a few things different instead of fight fight fight.
: Thought about, slept over it and came to the conclusion that alright, let's go ahead and have Day4 as Day without dungeoncrawling and more of a Day to take a break from it. I'd still prefer to go out and explore MysteryDungeon/complete jobs with Kee, but then again it's true that we could use some more Healing Items and Food Items to build up a small stock of them to be covered for future adventures. That, and I feel I'll be busy with drawing my way though Inktober = not too much time to properly and quickly dungeoncrawl while you others wait for me and NPCs to have that done.
But we'll go and escort Marcus the next in-game Day then for sure, will we? For some reason I'm already super-hyped for that, sounds exciting and fun.

: But since I don't really have anything definite planned with Ziggy Kee bar visiting the places he'd usually visit before heading into a MysteryDungeon, I'd wish for him to be involved in either some training or an event in town that'll grant him at least some XP to 1. have the Day feel not completely fruitless to him ('fruitless' as in 'not without any sort of experience that helps him become a good Adventurer') and 2. to get that level-up I'm working on to have it when we set up for dungeoncrawling the next time (am lacking just one more XP for it). Is that fine and doable for you please? Or would you say I'd be rather off to train at the local Dojo for that sake?
Oh and we forget 2 things: We get +1 in XP and Will if I recall. And set everyone abilities. For the players I think it's not necessary since we always use the same abilities, but may be necessary to the new members of the party.
Already added that XP and Willpoint yesterday, but that reminder's still appreciated!~

Now, about the jobs posted on the board that are displayed here: Am kinda leaning into accepting that F Rank one in the Valley of strong Winds, both for the sake of the reward (Oran Berries = multiple ones!) and because that place sounds highly interesting. Up to take that one to be completed another day? Likely better to wait until we've got one more job to complete there, but since we're not adventuring today, there's definitely the chance that another job there comes up tomorrow.
