"I understand Pyra...however, let me answer other thing: I was rude yes, but since we joined this Guild we see most Parties in this Guild don't care about anyone, or rather rude too. Don't you remember Team Gallop in how they ignore your plead to help find Karen? Or how Team Artificer act toward anyone?"
"I sound rude? I admit that. But after what I see within this Guild, that's the only reaction you have to think. If some of the Guild members are the way as they are, can you blame me to expect the worse? What other finale I should expect after how the Guild members act, save for a few exceptions like Floette?"
Kogeki said those frustrations who been inside his throat for quite a while since they joined the Guild. He looked tired, frustrated and anger. He didn't said out loud but he also felt...responsible in not be strong enough or very much useful in Monferno battle. Not to mention the almost disaster with Team Artificer where he was forced to ignore his pride and let Team Artificer do what they want and simple go before he could even retaliate, even with he was a leader.
And a Braixen coming and bashing someone in the group when Kogeki is not in his best mood (even if said Braixen is the Guildmaster daughter) is not exactly helpful. Kogeki already thin patience snap.
He sighs both in frustration and tiredness. "...However you do have a point Pyra. I was rude towards Braixen, who can and might complicate things things to us in the future. Tomorrow I will make sure to find her and apologize her for my today behavior. If I go after her now, it might not sound a genuine apologize. Besides, both and me and her, still in heat head, and she seems in hurry so go after her might not work."
"*Sigh* Let's just eat and sleep. Tomorrow in have a lot of things to do." Kogeki then finish the leftovers of his food and decided to call a day.
To her credit Pyra did calm down a bit when her spiritual friend agreed to her 'request' and his promise to try and patch things up with Braixen, but she was less than enthused at the obstinate rebuttals he paired with it, her stare turning unamused and authoritative.
".....Good and thank you, Kogeki. But...even though what you said true and correct, yes, it was to be expected too. Boss Delphox said her Teams and our fellow Guild members were most competitive, prideful, and self-centered, so we had ample preparation and opportunity to be ready to combat and endure it nicely-safely. Continuing to act in spite of that, to ignore their warning and not learning and adapting to it.....it is most worrying and troublesome behavior, Kogeki. Is your Pride and Wrath so important you put it above your and our well being and future prospects-relationships, now, here and beyond? If that is so, mayhaps it would be for us to leave the Guild, depart from it in order to best complete our goals without....stepping on others toes and creating not-needed problems for ourselves."
She pauses for a moment, looking up into the air and considering something else about Kogeki's statements, before she looked back to him with far softer eyes and a gentler tone.
".....My past actions, my conduct and discourse with Team Gallop, is no exception to what you and I say. Care not for them and still disdain them I do, for their selfish impudence and arrogance, yes, but I could have handled better their rejection and not made adversaries of them. Spared us needless conflict and part of Boss Delphox's lecture had I done so, believe I do now. But what has happened has happened, indeed, so all can be done by myself is reflect upon what I have learnt and become better-wiser for it. If that neccessi-quires me to be nice, kind, or polite to those undeserving of such graces, so it must be. Know and understand not much right now, about Pokemon and civilization and all their intricacies, but I do know-believe thus: life is change, survival, adversity, discovery, and experiences of all kinds, and all we must adapt and grow from them to become better and more. Do you understand me better now, my dear Kogeki?"
Presuming that he does on some level Pyra would then release him from her grasp, letting him go and giving him a bright and friendly smile.
"Good great! Let us feast and rest then! Tomorrow must be prepared for completely, and I too would like some respite after a long day, yes yes!"
Pyra doesn't have anything to say about Dax's own chastisement to the phantom brave (as it echoed much of what she'd already said), so if everyone is ready to move on to the next day that is fine with me!
