After the weird egg with black spots has been secured into a portable incubator (
of course she accepts it, what a question!) and the usual evening's round check for new eggs alongside Golda has been wrapped up, Shiva was told that she's free for today, and that they'll await her tomorrow at the same time.
On the way back to the Pokemon Center her mind was free to roam... That egg was the one Mallorn handed to Vincent... Does that mean he's safe? Oh Arceus... Where was he? Why did he left, why is he ginving the egg into her care now...?
She also noticed that it was mostly Golda who took care of the Daycare... wondering what her husband's occupation then is? He
is her husband, is he...? Maybe he takes care of the paperwork, and is in closer contact with the trainers who give their Pokemon into their care... Only handling the Pokemon itself if a strong personality is needed?
As she was arriving at the Pokemon Center, she spotted Ventus practicaly storm in there. She couldn't tell if it was out panic or excitement over good news. Did something important happened? Or did something occur that triggered his phobia...? Now to think about it, it cannot be ruled out that one or two wild Fairy Types might be lurking around the Festival, lured by all the people and the psyched up atmosphere. Maybe their were looking for human friends, maybe their were looking for new victims to keep their skills alive.
Inside the Center itself, Shiva was greeted by Nathan, who told her that Ven was...'spooked' and went to bed early. Oh well... This meant
nothing good... But, she decided to leave him alone for today, maybe tomorrow she'll get a chance to ask him about what has happened. She cares about him, so she cannot just behave like nothing happened!
Next, Nathan asked her how the day at the Daycare was, and this surely eased the weird situation. "Oh... Quite well, I guess!" She then told him everything he wanted to hear, about how the owners were practically throwing question after question to her, about their plans to breed Guardian Pokemon for the pasture, and of course about the little Eevee that avoided her at first, but was following and playing with her by the end of day... She had the feeling that he's honestly interested, so she enjoyed sharing the events with him. As she finished, she faced him and...hestantly brought up what she was up to for a while now. "Nathan... It's actually good that you're here. Because...I need to show you a thing, and want to hear your thoughts about it. Maybe you know more about it than I do." ... "If you're free, please come to my room in 15 minutes. Number 21. Oh, of course you can bring dear Ralts with you."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"... Glad that you could make it." If Nathan meets up with her, he'll find her in a neutral mood, and dressed in comfortable pitchblack clothes and the gifted Snivy-plushie in her arms. Yet, her current apperance didn't dimish the natural grace and calmness that surrounded her; if ever does it underline it a little. Shiva was aware of this fact. She was raised to express good manners and respect towards others, and why should an elusive Fairy-Type Pokemon and/or one of the more graceful Grass-Types bother to approach - not even speaking of allowing them to gain their trust! - Â an individual that displayed to be careless and sluggish?
The room itself was dimmed, but enlighted enough to read without problems. The window was open, at its upper frame an appearantly self-made small dream catcher was hanging, the air in the room was fresh of the evening fregrance, and from afar the excited noise of the still-ongoing Festival could be heard. On the small table that belonged to every room were her three companion Pokemon, helping themselves at a ceramic plate with a decent pattern of white orchids, which was filled with Dry Food, sliced and dehydrated berries in different colors and cookies with chunks of Pirsif Berries. (All stuff she bought at a Sweets Stall at the Festival. Ralts is allowed to help himself here too~). 'Hitmonchan's Guide to the Creshire' was laying there as well, closed, with several bookmarks in different colors visible.
At first, the atmosphere could be described as 'creepy'. On a second glace, 'calm and a little aethereal' were better words.
She told him to sit down wherever he wanted, before she continued to speak to him in the usual soft tone. Maybe a little more quiet, there was no need to raise voices here.
"So... You, eh, maybe remember the fact that I got myself lost after we defeated that Weezing in the swamp, do you? Thanks to you people for coming after me." ... "I don't know whether you picked up, but what led me away from the RV was a Murkrow. We and Minun must have suprised and accidently awoke it, but the fact is that it spoke to me in clear words, yet in riddles. Damn, I should have caught it... Upon following it, it led us to a stange place... and what we encountered there was
this." At this point, she showed Nathan her cell with the photo of the sign encraved in the sand. "You know, I might call myself a well-read person, but I never saw anything in this direction. I thought that you, since you are native to Chreshire, know more about the symbol and what it is connected to."
"I also believe that it might have something to do with the Wizard we encountered - actually, it most likely has. So, please do tell me, what did you get to know about those magicans during talk with Valder? I believe he knew something about them we didn't until then..."
(Oh, and here's
a matching theme for the converstion in her room.)
