"Ah, it's nothing. Nothing that probably needs to be worried about, anyways...I'm fine, really." He's clearly not entirely okay. He doesn't want to cause any additional trouble, though, so he just stays silent for now and sets those thoughts about Shiva aside. "Anyways, I've got something I need to tell the entire group when they return. You can probably guess what it's going to be." He winks.
Then he remembers Ventus wanted to face Zamboni too. Guess he might as well ask if he got what he needed to do that, then. "Oh, and any luck with getting a CarnyCoin?"
"...I'll leave alone for now, Nathan, but please don't hesitate to tell me if anything is wrong, or if 'nothing' becomes all to real," Ventus says, looking concerned at the young trainer. Try as he might, he couldn't concel all his anxiety from him. His Ralts looking worried didn't help convice him either, but he'll let it fade into the background. For now.
When he Nathan begans to tease the researcher about his recent defeat, he just smiled good naturely at him. "Well, I have a few reasonable asumptions, but I'll let you clue me in with the rest later. Clever minds need time to make a great story," he says, chuckling to himself. He doesn't mind if he lost, since he got to see how strong Nathan has grown since they first began. Plus, the spar gave valuble experience to the both of them, so they each gained something in the end.
Once Carney Coins were brought into the discussion, Ventus frowned in slight frustration, before shaking his head. "Like our match, I seem to be out of luck in regards to getting one of those coins. A shame, but probably for the best anyway. I did lose to you, after all."
Nathan frowns when Ventus says he didn't get any coins. But then he smiles again, since he just thought of something. "Well, there's still two ways you could get a CarnyCoin...the first is Shuckleball. You might even get a rare pokemon from it. The second...well, let's just say I have two coins. And if I don't lose my first match, that means I have a spare chance to fight Zamboni lying around. Besides, don't beat yourself up too much over that loss. Aspis and Raphael put up a spectacular fight, after all. I think you'd stand a fair chance against Zamboni if you were careful. You'd have to get better at applying those debuffs quickly, though, if you want to rely on that strategy. Heck, I might even try throwing in some debuffing alongside some attacks myself..."
"I...dislike the sport Shuckleball. I know that a Shuckle's shell is practically indestructible, but I am not fond of the idea of subjecting it to that type of abuse. It seem rather hypocritical, coming from some who has killed Pokémon before, but that is the way I feel on the matter. Even if I desired, I rather save what little money I have left for rainy days," Ventus said, not thrilled with using the rocky bug as an impromptu ballistic missle. There are Pokémon battle and self defense he is willing to indulge in, but Shuckleball cross the line.
When Nathan told him he had another coin that he was willing to give, he began smiling brilliantly. He also found the encouragement from Nathan rather nice. 'Quite a change of pace, given our rocky relations!', he thought, glad that he's much closer to the boy now. "That would be lovely, Nathan! Even if you have to use both coins, I thank you for the opportunity regardless! As for my battle strategy, I have to work with what I got. I don't have any super effective moves to exploit, so might as well put every dirty trick I have against the leader!"
Zippy is a fine name!
I think it's about time that Raphael gains a point of happiness!

to be honest I would have killed it for diner but I need the cash (and what would be what $5 USD isn't what I want from a fish) Larry is gonna hold on to this one and maybe train it close to evolving someone would then buy it right? (im wanting $500 for the karp, if it evolves price doubles)
After quite a while, Shiva finally was on her way back to the Pokemon Center. The Electric rodents walked by her side, and their caretaker looked...maybe a little tired from the days events, but still at high spirits. After all, the day still holds something for her!
FLASHBACK TIME!
The Daycare couple (so they are a married couple) agreed on giving her a day to come up with a suggestion for the Infiltrator Pokemon, as well as keeping the black-spotted egg in their in-house hatchery for the time she's around, close to Magby. So usual work there continued, while Plusle/Minun/Cottonee were allowed to roam at the pasture and enjoy some casual free time.
Since by the end of the day they advanced her $1800 - how generous by them! -Â it was about time to pay the Festival yet another visit, and stock up on supplies. From a young man passing by she caught up that you can find anything here with a 20% Discount if you only invest some time...
BOUGHT SUPPLIES:
- 7 Pokeballs, each 200$, with the 20% dicount 160$ each. Total 1120$. Yes, she needs that many. Too bad they aren't selling special balls like Luxury or Moon Balls here.
- 2 Potion, each 200$, with the 20% discount 160$ each. Total of 320$.
- 1 Burn Heal, 250$ each, with the 20% discount 200$ each. Total of 200$.
--> Spent 1640$ in total, now have 389$ of the original 2029$ left.
On their way, there was also the Shuckleball field... Still with the same owner with the enourmous voice. Didn't Shiva promised her rodents a round, just for fun? After all, accourding to her look on the matters, the Shuckle doesn't suffer any lasting damage, so it should be acceptable.
After an old woman and her Slowking and a Mother with son and their Myrapla, it was finally her turn. "So, I'll take two rounds, one for Plusle and one for Minun here. Each one gets a seperate round, but I wish for them to be in the playfield together. I can pay with this Sawsbuck Token, can I?"
"Also, please tell me, what is a Tracton? I never heared of such a Pokemon."
SHUCKLEBALL MECHANICS:
A Persim Berry for each round. As said, both on the battlefield, but having a seperate round. I'd like to have Plus/Minus-Ability triggered. Even if this is not possible, the Orders are still Thunder Wave from Minun and Swift from Plusle.
Shiva has never heared of Pokemon from Tandor ^^ But Minicorn stays on Wish-List regardless of that.
FLASHBACK ENDS HERE.
As she stepped through the automatic door of the Pokemon Center, she quickly spotted Nathan and Ventus already there at a table. Larry was nowhere to be seen, Valder and his Pawniard were absent as well. (In fact, , where are you?) A little hesitant, she joined and greeted them as usual.
At this point, Ralts looked over to her. Oh... Maybe the Emotion-Pokemon got a glimpse on her current state, maybe he was just worried after what has happened between his Master and her yesterday. Though, Ralts may wonder little that Shiva displayes no anger at the sight of Nathan, not at all. If, a tad bit worry maybe. But rather and open mind, the will to clear the matters up and get along with him again. She...saw that her reaction may have been a bit too harsh accidently, and it's better for the whole party to clear things with him instead of letting the fade into memory. After all, if she gets involved into somehing concerning the Almanac - meanwhile, she was almost sure that this must be the people who have hurted Ralts - it...wil definitely better if they are fine with one another, and don't have their interactions poisoned by an overreaction from her side. She was unsure however how to approach him to initiate.
Shiva then walks into the lobby and joins the duo. Nathan almost doesn't notice she'd walked in, but Ralts definitely does and lets him know. "Oh? Oh, uh...hey there, Shiva. Day go okay?" Business as usual with Nathan. He doesn't want to press any buttons. Ralts isn't picking up any anger from her, but he's treading carefully anyways.
He hesitates to talk with you.
... ... ... Should have known.
Still, she keeps the soft tone in voice. Let's give Nathan a bit space. "Oh... Day was well, the work there is rather intetesting. One day left, then we might move on."
"Also, sorry if I'm a little late... I've stocked up on supplies at the Festival. So, and what were you two doing meanwhile?

"Just discussing a few things we'd been doing today, is all. Â Though I do have something to tell the whole group when everyone is here."
'Well, she definitely doesn't seem to still be mad...
sigh...maybe I should try talking to her later...that rage was so sudden though...there's no guarantees I won't set her off again if I bring the topic back up...' Â Internally, he's still feeling rather nervous. Â Outwardly, he's showing little else but calm neutrality. Â Ralts looks a little uneasy too, but not as much as before.
