He then walked forward and gently rested a hand on the smooth, luscious skin of their's and looked up at them, while they simultaneously turned to crane their neck down to meet his calmly and happily meet their stare, openly display their feeling the warm sastifaction of accomplishment and victory to their caretaker and partner.
"....Excellent job. You've come far, and I know you will only grow stronger and more beautiful as we train together and grow stronger. Now take a long rest, Lovely," he said with great pride and quiet joy, before returning them to their ball along with Basteele. They both deserved some respite along with the rest of his partners, and in aquatic serpent's case it was more necessary, since surviving on land for any length of time was difficult for them.
…..But not before Lovely had the chance to share nuzzle them for his kind words. He wasn't about to let them get away without a sign of affection for them, no matter how drained, parched, or tired he was fighting those tough opponents!
Terra then walked forward to Nathan, and stuck out a hand to them.
"You did well yourself. Not much I can say to help you improve, so that is good too. Thank you for the great battle, my.....friend?"Â
The last part was said with a certain amount of hopeful trepidation, with a faint underlying fear he'd be rejected for making such an offer after just beating them.Â
Still, he had to try, for what better way to bond with some than over a good, tough, and fair fight?
"......Who is Hayes, though?"
He couldn't help but bring that question up, as it was someone he obviously didn't know anything about due to his status as a simple foreigner.
His gut feeling told him it was....someone special, though, especially if such a capable trainer like Nathan was aiming to defeat or overcome them....
"Not much I think you need to improve on either. I'll tell you about Hayes another time. That's a story for the whole group." For the record, there's nothing in Nathan's tone or body language to suggest he bears Hayes any ill will or anything.
Nathan returns the handshake.
"Well, I suppose it's time we head back to the Pokemon Center, then.  I need to prepare for a battle with Cress City's Gym Leader, and I've got a whole list of other things I need to do, too. And I'd like a detailed summary of what Ventus told you, if you don't mind."

He simply nodded his head at the boy's assessment and decision to decline the conversation to another time with the group. He wasn't in a rush to learn about this mysterious person, nor did he have any desire to pressure Nathan anymore than he already had during the battle.
Their next comments prompted another nod from Terra as he crossed his arm on his chest once more, looking mildly serious and thoughtful; or his default expression, in other words. It looked just a bit more.....formidable than last time, though. Maybe the battle left a bigger impression on him than first thought of?
Terra's Intimidation is increased for 6 XP, giving him 1 Point in the Specialty and leaving him with 8 XP left!
"Hmm....yes, let's.
I wish to explore Cress City some more after my Pokémon are healed, and attend this......'Tea Ceremony' I have heard interesting things about. Whole thing sounds similar to the Contests back at home I.....participated in sometimes, and I would like to see how they.....compare. I like good tea too, so that is another reason to go."
Finally, he nodded his head at their last comment, simply saying to the boy "Later, unless you want the Portfollio to look over now."
Since the battle finally have ended, Heart makes a quick stop on the Pokemon Center to make some preparations. He changes his team to this line up party: Gustav, Typhon, Nidorino, Golett, Gargryph and Delta Onix. He then try to find anyone willing to do a pokemon battle. 6x6. 700 Pokedollars. Dual battle to be more quick.

(Nope, since Cress City doesn't do Trainer Battles! You either have to challenge the Gym, do a Training Session, Tea Ceremony, or fight wild Pokémon/RP to get that sweet XP!)

If you don't mind, getting a look at that portfolio would be excellent. I can assure you that you're in for a real treat if you get to battle a Kimono Girl. Just be mindful that putting on a good show is the main goal if you do get to battle."

(Then I have another solution. Not going to pass the rest of the adventure with low Pokedollars)
After such tremendous battle, Heart decided to finally do what he have on mind: To search the Uper Layer of the Skull Ruin to find a Teleport user pokemon. He NEED a pokemon for better traveling. He puts Alphonse in the place of Delta Onix for better control and in case put in sleep any kind of that pokemon. Just a teleport pokemon would be awesome.

Is that so?~ Well, maybe it's because she's 'more' than the average human? ^^
-1 caught Marowak, +1 entry in 'Pokemon Shiva temporarly owned', +3 Apricorn Seedlings in Inventory, Objective 'Trade off Marowak for something nice' complete. The group will pass the place Shiva would find suitable for the young plants when heading to Arrowroot Village over Botanville (hopefully).

Indeed, it has just begun to rain again, a pleasant sound on the thick canvas above.
"Why don't we go outside and I'll show you something? Hold still while I fasten this jewelry around your neck...it works on both humans and Pokemon."
You feel cold, slick metal against your throat and around your neck. Feels like fine chain links, with something heavier at the base. The dressmaker won't let you pick it up to look at it, not yet. "Oh, let it be a surprise!"
You troop outside into the rain.
You can feel the difference immediately. The rain gives only a slight tingle on your skin, no impact or sharp cold is felt. What's more, you feel the strange sensation of something sprouting from your head! Touching it, you find it is a pair of small & supple antennae, about as long as a finger and with a slight curl in them.
Smiling and laughing, the Dressmaker hands you a mirror. You see two little lavender horns sticking up between your hair, and you find you can wiggle them like antennae or even retract them. You're more able to sense the mild wind currents with these, and they absorb rainwater very quickly.
You finally see what you're wearing around your neck, too: a mauve scale, smaller than a fingernail and trimmed in gold. Unlike your old Dragon Scale, it's supple and slightly rubbery to the touch.
"It's a Goodra Scale! Specially treated and filigreed, it has a chance (50%) to absorb hail or flying sand (damaging weather), causing these horns to sprout up, hehe! A Pokemon with the horns becomes a little stronger, just like Goodra's Sap Sipper! Do you like it? It's worth $7500 to me."
When the holder of this item is subject to rain, hail, or sandstorm weather at the end of the round, I roll a dice. If it's a success, the Pokemon gains +1 Attack for the duration of the weather, and doesn't take damage that round. Each subsequent round it rolls again to avoid the weather damage, but it keeps the Attack boost. The boost is treated as a held item rather than an Ability so it doesn't stack with moves.
The horns are mostly cosmetic.
Ah.... Now that the dressmaker mentions it, Shiva does notice the sound of raindrops clashing with the tent fabric, it gives her a very cozy feeling. Whether she'd enjoy being out during stormy days without at least an umbrella, she's not too sure though, but equipped with one or a rain cape - nothing prevents her from walking through Castelia's always busy streets with some bred Water Types! She enjoyed these strolls although she caught a cold once or twice due to them already.
This
necklace however.... Bearing this probably super-rare
Goodra Scale.... It was way better than everything she could imagine for a walk in harsh weather and she struggled to take her eyes from her reflection in the handed mirror. Handing it back to the Dressmaker thankfully, they got a look from her where her eyes are silently screaming 'I DO love that! I need that!!' at high volume.
"It's perfect..... The good news is that it's so different from anything I'd consider 'protective gear', but who needs umbrellas or safety goggles when you can grow horns of a dragon?! May I ask where you got this Scale from, is it somewhere her in Chreshire? I know that these friendly dragons can be sometimes seen in areas with constant rain, so.... The 'bad' news are that I don't have enough cash. Maybe you'd be alright with...taking a shiny male Frillish in return? I caught it at an underground lake, but I don't have a proper place for it in my team. Such a Pokemon bearing a dormant royalty would certainly draw in customers, wouldn't it?"
Â
It gets summoned while still being out in the rain, and as promised fluorescent scales sparkling upon the white light faded hint to an unmistakable feature of a Pokemon.
(Imagine it blind and relying on honed ghostly senses instead. Worth 10.000$ as stated, rest can be given in cash)

"*Shrugs* Sure. I want it back later, but you can keep it for awhile. Here," Terra says,
before pulling out the folded up Portfolio for one of his MANY pockets, and handing it to them (I'll PM the details!). Most of what was in it confused him or had him struggling to understand what the finer detail, so if the smart boy could decipher its meaning and put it to good use, he'll more than let!
"*Nods his head and smiles* Hmm...good. Does not sound that different to Contests, so I.....should know what to do. Performance is like Fighting, only more......showy and flashly, and I can do both well. Thank you for the advice."
Presumably the conversation ended at this point or soon after as they made their way to the Pokémon Center, at which point they got their Pokémon healed and went their separate ways.
He didn't know about Heart's plans to go into the Skull Ruins (I presume they didn't tell anyone), but if he did/somehow found out
he would insist on accompanying him instead of going to attend the Tea Ceremony, as Ven had been clear that place was DANGEROUS, and going in there alone was....not smart. It was his duty to protect and defend the group, after all, so if the collector was going to do something risky, he wanted to be there with them to mitigate it.

Heart decide to share that piece of information with Terra. "Ah dont worry Terra. I not going DEEP on the Skull Ruins. Only the upper layer. Its less dangerous. I need to find a pokemon with Teleportation abilities to teleport me to Star City. The Tea Ceremony its cool and all, but you can only use one pokemon and the limitation of what pokemon you can use...not cool. Besides, a Pokemon Rare Collector always need to take risks to find the most rare pokemon. Buuuuuut you can go with me if you worry. Some company its always a good thing."

The herculian man looked visibly started by Hearts plans to explore ANY of the Skull Ruins, as both Ventus himself impressed and in his reports of the place pretty much summed up to this: EXTREMELY DANGEROUS, DO NOT GO WITHOUT A DAMN GOOD REASON!Â
He could
sorta understand the desire to have the power to Teleport around a region, though. Traveling by foot was a long, intense, and exhausting effort that most would jump at the chance to cut down on, so Heart going to the Skull Ruins to get a Pokémon capable of it sounded 'reasonable' in that context. For him personally, however, all of those 'issues' was never a problem, as 'Slow, steady, and safety' was one of the mottos he lived by when on the road/exploring the wilds, so he didn't see the need/feel the desire to rush through a journey all that much.
Still, he felt the collector was dead set on their goal, and that trying to talk them out of it would do no good (setting aside the fact he wasn't that steller with debates/complicated discussion or the like to begin with!), so with a heavy sigh and a shake of his head Terra responded, his surprise now replaced with a seriousness that was even gruffer than usual.
"No,
I will go with you. The Skull Ruins are a dangerous place, and I can't let you go alone my friend. Its my job to protect you and the rest of the group, so let me do it Heart."
