Stunned was the right word to describe Ventus appearance right now. He didn't expect that the young trainer had that much advice to give! Once his befuddlement passed, however, a simple smile grace his face as he replied :"My my, you truly are your father son, given all the advice you tried to drown me in. Trying to take out the competition, I see? I jest, of course, and I thank you for all of the advice! The Shroomish suggestion does sound a bit mad, but I do believe it to be worth the risk, if nothing else! Now that I heard you suggestion, perhaps I was playing a bit to defensively. I do need to increase my combat capability, that is for certain now!"
Remembering that he offered a couple of Oran Berries for him to use, he rubbed his head in embarrassment. "Well, the berries would certainly help, but I would hate to deprive you of them. I have good fortune in finding berries, so I should find something to put on my Pokémon in the future, at least!" Ventus said, not wanting to impose on Nathan anymore than he had already. He already ask to borrow his coin AND Porygon; asking for more is certainly out of the question (Essentially, you have to force the berries on him, mate).
Thinking over things for a bit, he had something else to say to Nathan regarding Raphael, who was currently playing with his bright green tweed sweater right now. "Nathan, I have an question for you, if you don't mind answering. I believe Raphael, my little angel here, has learned Yawn, so would it be a good Idea to lead with that and follow up with Charm, or should I try dodging and waiting for the opponent to fall asleep?"
