Time to go fetch Laurelin, tell her Rampardos is KOed, and (hopefully) claim the reward for completing this mission! ...whatever said reward is besides getting a fossil revived, that is. Laurelin hadn't specified anything besides getting a fossil revived, and Nathan hadn't asked beforehand what the other reward(s) might be. So I guess the reward is going to be a surprise!
Whoahw, it all went pretty fast this Round, but thanks to her calm focus Shiva managed to follow everything relatively well - or at last, what she can see of the scary Ghosts. Mismagius fainting with a loud cry reminding of a banshee (or was it only within her head again??) made her flinch a little, same when her butterwolfly yelps a bit in pain as if the Curse actively imobilized him - but all was well because her secret ace against Chucles, cute and dear Spinda, practically solo'd the defeating of creepy Dusknoir. She received a very proud and thankful gaze from her Master, which the panda may not see though due to her massive confusion.
Swinging Delphox's wand around as tiny Litwick left her *Mightyena, Shiva recalls him instantly, holding his Ball close to her heart before packing it away. "You did great. You know know how a Curse feels - I'm sorry for that experience, but be proud of you and let us learn from this. Rest well - you deserve it."
Giving a neutral nod to the spectral Gym Leader, she fidgets for the Ball containing her last Pokemon for this fight: It's cute and angelic Raphael!! The atmosphere here may be nothing for him, but with his cheer and serenity - will he be able to fly new Master to victory?
Gym Leader Chuckles vs Shiva Round 3, now a little less scared?
(I'm suspecting one particular Tandormon to be sent out by Chuckles.)

One look at your triumphant face and Laurelin smiles. "He's just a big softie, isn't he? All ready for us to collect him? Great!" She immediately hands you a Pokeball. "Take this over to the Trading Machine...yeah, great!" She takes Machop's Pokeball back. "I'll collect Machop from downstairs and re-capture Rampardos for transfer. We have to use a special Heavy Ball...they're extraordinarily expensive, even a normal one, and this Rampardos ignores all Pokeballs while conscious. Our specialty ones are supplemented with some Dagny-tech."
"Which fossil would you like me to revive for you?"
Nathan looks at the new Pokeball he received, and sees it contains a young Cranidos.
"Oh yeah, the Rampardos nest we found also had the fossils of some younglings. We were experimenting on bringing back fossils using epigenetic markers, which can reproduce the size, effective age, and moves of the Pokemon in question. Looks like we need to concentrate on INTERPRETING the markers before restoring them, though. Thanks for the help!"
Cranidos was caught!

"Be careful with that, they grow up quickly, though they start out extra small. Got a Pokedex?"
Chuckles isn't smiling as he unclasps his black cloak and hurls it, spins it into the battlefield. It settles to the floor, where it becomes a shadow. Glowing red eyes and a Cheshire grin appear in the shadow, which rises dramatically from the floor into a three dimensional ghoul. Laughter echoes from every corner of the room as Chuckles frowns at Shiva and Raphael.

"Well, I wouldn't call him a complete softy. He did take out two of my pokemon almost effortlessly with just a single Outrage. Managed to catch him off guard, though, so that helped a lot."
When given a Cranidos as a reward, Nathan can't help but be
fascinated with it. Wow. A real, live, Cranidos...Skull Fossils aren't easy to come by, that's for sure...shame that it seems to be the product of a failed experiment...
"Yeah, I've got a Pokedex.Â
Is there a particular reason you're asking?"
As for which Fossil Nathan wants revived...he has to dig around in his bag for a moment.
"...that would be...this one. I'm quite interested to see how it turns out..."
The fossil Nathan shows Laurelin is none other than the Toenail Fossil. Definitely interested to see how Laurelin reacts to this fossil...

Terra's a bit startled by the affection at first, but then he lets out a fond chuckle and return the blue bomber's smile, patting their had first before he
heals them up to full with the Potion! Additionally, he takes out the Oran Berry he found the other day and munches on it himself, fully restoring his HP as well! He also makes sure to give a thoroughly once over on Anubi as he treats their injuries, as he roughed them up something FIERCE with a couple blows, and wanted to make sure they were absolutely okay.
Once all that was settle, the rugged wanderer gave his young jackal some space, and speaks, this time appearing less serious and more friendly.
"Hm....Now that you understand lesson, I want you to....demonstrate what you learned.
We will fight again, but this time I will give you a couple of Round of rounds to prepare yourself this time. Get some good hits in too, which makes thing more fair. Then, I will begin to Strike back with all I have. Winner is first one brought to their knees. *Pauses* Understand? We began our next fight when you are ready."
Saying this, the herculean man squares off against his aural doggie, and patiently awaits to see if they could put what they were just taught to good use....
Order: Another fight with Anubi, but this time Terra will not act for two Round while they either set-up and/or soften him up a bit. Winner is the first one brought to - 3 Pain, or is Fainted. This will hopefully make things more fair and exciting between the combatants, so why not have a handicap? Let the battle resume!

Flashback!
Gallade's still standing in the corner and watching things carefully with crossed arms...Terra's taking quite the gamble, giving Riolu that much time...Gallade's not interfering while the training is still going on, though. And so long as Riolu stops immediately if he manages to faint Terra and keeps the fight honorable, Gallade won't have to.
And the good news is that if Terra DOES somehow faint, Nathan's on the way, so Gallade doesn't have much reason to worry so long as Riolu doesn't give him any.

"Because a Pokedex can halt evolution."
"Oh! This is from an ancient Pokemon, but not one of the usual fossils! Looks like an elephant toenail...Donphan? Or maybe something a little different...should I analyze this first or just revive it right away?"

"Good point."
"Yeah, I've got a Claw Fossil, too, but I figured this one would be more interesting to start with. I've actually done a little research on it myself and have an idea of what it might be...but maybe you don't want me to spoil the surprise?Â
I'm all up for reviving it right away." Nathan has a sly smile on his face. He's been looking forward to this.
