Calam rushes forward to slam that Rhyhorn with an Iron Tail! Â Followed by a Knockdown to offset it, and finally another Iron Tail!
Starmie, meanwhile, uses Hydro Pump twice, followed by a Bubble Beam! Â (Both boosted by the Mystic Water)
Nathan, meanwhile preps 2 pokeballs of his own to throw: 1 Pokeball first, then 1 Great Ball. Â Since he sees Heart prepping some too and doesn't want it as much as Heart, he'll let Heart throw his first. Â If Rhyhorn is KOed and there's no immediate danger from Rhyhorn, Nathan won't throw any pokeballs he hasn't thrown yet. Plan is to throw all pokeballs before Rhyhorn can act in each set of actions.

Was that all clear?
(Not sure if the exhaustion would logically apply to Calam and Starmie since they haven't been traveling all day, tbh. But if you want to apply it since Nathan's definitely slowing down, that's fine)
Just as Shiva was daring to take a small breather after realizing that Kyuu didn't need a voiced order of Fake Out, it hit her like a Crit Shockwave after a Lock-On by a Pokemon with No Guard Ability - she almost staggered at that sensation and immediately turned her gaze from that massive Ryhorn to Dr. M and back with a clearly concerned expression.
That rocky dino that was big enough to have the potential to trample a carriage without much effort, and it's angry. And charging forward. Celebi must have had a reason to send them all here to this particular place in this particular year, and now Shiva begins to believe she understood why: It's not solely to meet Sprira, it is also to potentially save lifes of innocent travelers, of these on and in both carriages. If Dr. M himself ends up unfortunately letting his life here at the road due to an unlucky occurence, it may be no wonder why she has never heard of that Traveling Medicine Show during the so far journey.
'Oh Celebi.... You brought us here to potentionally prevent a nasty incident? My.... Though if that is your will, then I will follow it.' repeating that within her mind, it brought Shiva a nice boost in trust towards the Mythic Legend in this region, as well as an increase of determination. Heart as well as Nathan already preparing some Balls to toss at Ryhorn allured her to join in that, she gave them both a hand sign of agreement to show she understood what the intention was. The Ball she'll toss is a Steel Ball (Seal Strength 2), she'll do so right after Heart got his catch-attempt if that one fails. (If Terra hands her one of his Balls, she'll use it if her Steel Ball doesn't succeed on first try. If he does not, she'll try again with the same Steel Ball, but if Ryhorn breaks it she will not use another.)
At the moment, Shiva couldn't care less that Steel Balls are certainly not known in 1925. Maybe it'd pass as a customized Heavy Ball though.
Quote:(Not sure if the exhaustion would logically apply to Calam and Starmie since they haven't been traveling all day, tbh. Â But if you want to apply it since Nathan's definitely slowing down, that's fine)
Exactly, Nathan is the one who's exhausted. Keeping track of which Pokemon have acted in a day is a recipe for disaster.
Carriage Collision Round 1
Stoutland is bounding for the carriage. He skids to a halt when he reaches the road, waiting alertly to see what happens.
Kyuu is not strong enough or intimidating enough to slow Rhyhorn through physical means, but when imbued with psychic power his attack has a lot more oomph to it. Especially when performed as one single slowing attack, no multiple actions.
Fake Out 1
(3)(1)(1)(5)(1)(1) (6)(6)
This attack cannot harm Rhyhorn, but Rhyhorn flinches 1. This takes the form of him averting his eyes from his target and shuddering. He doesn't stop running though.
Calam leaps on in there confidently. He slices the massive target and bounds back out of the fray, then turns to enter again. His tail acts a lot like his horn in this situation.
Iron Tail 1

(5)(3)(1)(6)(5)(2)
(3) + 2 Rhyhorn takes 2 dmg 9/13hp -1 pain
Viktor rears back and drives his forward rootlegs into Rhyhorn. They grapple, and though Viktor is slowly pushed backward, he's both slowing Rhyhorn and siphoning Earthpower from him.
Hydro Pump 1
(1)(5)(4)(3)(3)(4)
(4)(4)(1)(2)(1) Rhyhorn takes 3 dmg 6/13hp -2 pain
Telekinesis 1
(6)(4)(6)(3)(2)(5) (3)(5) Critical success.
Rhyhorn is afflicted with Telekinesis. Though he keeps running as best he's able, his weight is countered by Lilith, so the resulting effect is as if Rhyhorn is running on the moon! Every step sends him five feet into the air and crashing back down again. Furthermore, Lilith now has control of the medicine wagon. She can keep it stable, but she doesn't have enough actions to try to lift it off the back of Rhyhorn.
Glare 1
(5)(4)(2)(6)(2)
Rhyhorn was paralyzed as he averts his gaze from the hypnotic Meowstic and instead meets the cool, calm, noble gaze of Gargryph.
Dizzy uses Future Sight. He positions himself very, very carefully.
Future Sight 1
8 dice -2 actions
(4)(4)(4)(6)(5)(6) Critical success!
Dizzy races between the wagon wheels, right over Rhyhorn's flat back like a ramp, and leaps into the air as Heart throws a Great Ball. Smeargle makes a Piloting check.
(6)(3)(6)(6) He does a good job steering, and Dizzy lands right inside the carriage and helps brace the baby and Chansey. They'll be cushioned from the crash against his fur (max cover).
Great Ball: (2)(5)(4)(5)
Will: 10, -1 paralysis, -2 pain = 7d6
(1)(4)(2)(1)(1)(6) (5)
Hot damn, got him on the first try. Rhyhorn was going to reach the carriage, but would have been unable to perform any attack. His broadside was about twenty feet from collision when he was pulled into the Great Ball. Heart actually can't hear the Pokeball click nor see the light turn green because of how much action is still going on - this might be good news for the cause of not letting the people of the past see a modern Pokeball.
The medicine wagon, however, is not drawn into the Pokeball. It still goes flying, airborne, toward the carriage. Though this is much less destructive than an oversized Rhyhorn's smallest attack, it will still do a lot of damage if it's not stopped in the next Round!
You can see the terrified gazes affixed on the airborne wagon. The presumed Dr. M has some kind of long tube clutched to his chest, his knuckles white, squeezing it for all he's worth. Time seems to slow....
Orders/questions for Round 2?
"Gallade! Â Telekinesis, go!"
Gallade's easily the most tired of everyone here. Â But he is not going to let that stop him.
Not when innocent lives are at stake.
He doesn't even think twice about it.  Just carefully pays attention to how and when Lilith is going to use her own Telekinesis...and then ideally uses his own TM taught version of the move to the most optimal effect he can.

Emboar and Dewott Round 1
Dewott sends a ring of water at Dunsparce. Strangely, Emboar leaps through it as if it's a ring at a circus - though he's not touched by any water.

Emboar drives Angie down into the mud. Then he starts rolling around on his back in victory, enjoying the resulting mud, until he notices Angie burrowing away! He grasps at her, but it may be too late unless she's too confused to dig.
I'm going to roll for successful charging in this circumstance. +1 dice for being already driven into the mud.

(4)(6)(2)(6)(4)(1) (3)(1) Emboar faints.
Dewott tugs on Emboar's 600 pound sleeping body, but cannot budge it. He considers a Swords Dance, but that won't be enough.
So yeah, Dewott just takes off running! He's much faster than Terra so he probably gets away - you can request a roll if you want but he'll have the advantage. Either way, these Pokemon are defeated.
Back on the farm, you can see the more docile Pokemon livestock laughing at Emboar's defeat.
6XP for Angie, 5Xp for Anubi! 7 for Terra.
Dunsparce gains 1 point of Happiness! Battling is more fun than expected. It's mostly digging!!!
Anubi gives Dunsparce and Terra a thumbs up.
Heart too have no much time to loose! "Quick Viktor! Use your branchs and trees around you to stop the wagon as much you can! Gargryph! Use your stones around your body to help Viktor stop the train too!" Heart also concentrate to try something. With his one point of Eartpower he try to better connect with his Pokemons. "C'mon Earthpower, give me some help here!"

The Rhyhorn event certainly qualifies! Calam is racing in there, having burst forth from his Pokeball without permission as is his wont.
Apricorns make a sound when releasing a Pokemon, but it's not as tech sounding. Maybe more like a hissing of displaced air. They do still have the burst of light from the "crystal" inside.

(6)(6)(1)(6)(4)(1) (4)(3)(2) = 4 items to keep out of 8 items total. You can also trade with Dr. M for Chupacho, just bring that up when he's saved.Â
If he's dead you can't trade with him.
You find 3Â Potions, 2 Pokeballs, 1 Ekans Essence, 1 Eelektross Fang, 1 Mirror Hat.
Ekans Essence: According to the Dr, this can heal just about anything. You're skeptical of that claim.Â
Eelektross Fang: Nonconsumable item, kind of like a Yellow Flute in function. Make a Survival + Medicine check. 2 or more successes and you can remove Poison. 3 successes and you can remove Badly Poisoned. But if you fail, the Pokemon takes 2 or 3Â Lethal damage respectively.
Mirror Hat: Strap this on a Pokemon to enhance your foe's confusion. -1 Insight for the foe when it comes to Confusion-resist checks. This is League legal 'cause it's considered akin to BrightPowder.
Dr. M is gonna let you keep half those items, your choice, as a reward for helping him clean up.
Spira looks through the items he found, grimacing at the Ekans extract and Eelektross fang, he never liked folk remedies, too unpredictable, so he decides on the 3 potions and 1 of the pokeballs.
Kyuu cries out in displeasure as his slap didn't do anything to slow down that massive Rock Type! Leaping back towards Shiva then, he takes a stance of a clearly angry and unafraid cat and hisses sharply at that beast. Like this:
Shiva lets him, she doesn't do a single thing to stop or calm him. She's got the feeling he would all but LOVE to show this Ryhorn his massive psychic powers.....
Though for that is no time yet nor is this the right opportunity to do so, with worry being concealed by newly awoken confidence and determination now she pays close attention to how things develop. Ryhorn clearly weakened by the attacks that hit was a relief, but the real deal came as Gothy has made it restrain the huge beast and stabilize the wagon of Dr. M enough to prevent it from falling down of the beast's back. "W... Well done, Lilith! Now, please keep it as stable as you can, make sure it's safe up there - just don't loose the connection! It's... VERY important for me that the driver remains unharmed!" Tough why, Shiva does not share here.
How Dizzy also ignored Shiva's asked favor she actually doesn't mind as she saw him daring a gaze into the future, as from the look of it that Stoutland doesn't mean any harm at all. For now at least... Shiva feels it is not a threat, maybe just curious or sensed that people are in danger and came to help. Boldly, she dares to call out for it: "Stoutland, hello over there! Would you be up to help us saving these people in danger? How you do is up to you, but please - we could use any help available!" (This will probably need an Empathy Check? 6 Insight + 3 Empathy = 9d6)
Bringing her attention back to the chaotic scene now, she packs her Steel Ball back into the pocket of her Ranger's Cloak, honestly relieved that she doesn't have to use it as Heart already succeeded. The stars must be benelovent today if they allowed that to happen....
This sweet sensation didn't last for more than a second though as things were NOT safe yet, in fact now Dr. M's carriage ITSELF was the source of danger! Given how instable and makeshift it looked, the natural fae enthusiast could imagine herself what a mess that'd be if it and the noble carriage of the family collide - not even speaking about the travelers themselves, she does not want to imagine things too much however. Ugh. Instead, she turned towards her two loyal Psychic Types again and emphasizes her orders with dramatic gestures, though her voice is calm. "Fine... Lilith, you please keep up your Telekineses. Concentrate it on the carriage now, blend out everythingelse, it's only you and the wagon....... Can you see it in front of your mental eye? Yes? Now - make it land on the ground as soft as you can. Keep its driver safe. He shall....LIVE. Make it to his destination of travels." Kyuu has calmed by now a little and turns his head to Master for orders: "You, Kyuu... Create a wall of light. Concentrate on that - Your task is it to place it right in front of the carriage, stop its trajectory as best as you can. Don't have the carriage 'crash' into your screen please. You can do that - concentrate, sense the carriage's path with your powers......"

Does Lilith need any dice rolls? Her Telekinesis is already up and on the carriage, her task is to bring it to the ground as softly and safely as possible with Gallade.
Accuracy Roll Kyuu's Single Action Light Screen: 4 Dext + 2 Fight + 4 Channel = 10d6
