Dr. M recognizes another man of merchant blood and his eyebrows shoot up. He lowers them when he sees you looking.
After some haggling, he agrees to trade 3 SDS and all your Tears of Milotic (he loves the name) for what you've asked for, 4 bonus Energy Powders, $100 and a bonus treasure map. So you'd have 2 maps in total.

He doesn't think the gems are worth a batch of his mystical Torchic teeth. "Go find a Torchic. Go on. Look inside its beak. Do you see any teeth there? Bet not. Fine. Trading Rhyhorn right away. We can't create a paradox anyway. Trading along with the other items the 2 Revive Crystals along with the other items.
With that Spira's haggling is done. He walks away from the stand and calls out Hida, swapping his Charcoal for the Magmarizer and asks what the lava slug thinks of their new item, also if Nathan is free, Spira will ask him how Calam aquired his scar.

If anyone asks where she's going, she'd say something along the lines of "I just, eh, need to write an important message to someone before I forget. Please don't ask." This is actually half true, as as soon as Shiva feels safe enough, she hitches up the right sleeve of her Ranger's Cloak to fiddle at the PTC again. It's Raphael again who will play messenger pidgeon to Bill, she hopes the archangel doesn't mind being soft-traded between the times - if she'd notice any discomfort from him, she'd emphasize that this task she's giving him is very important and he trusts Raphael blindly to fulfill it flawlessly. Though if he really dislikes it, another Pokemon is traded.
Hello Bill, it's me again, Shiva. We're still in 1925.
Though... Something interesting happened. As we were traveling, we've come to a road, and practically before our very eyes a huuuuge Ryhorn appeared, and if it weren't for us all being at the right time at the right place, a young family and a Doctor with a traveling show would have lost their lives. I begin to understand why Celebi has brought us here in particular, as we've managed to prevent an unlucky outcome of this all...
That Doctor - He is leading a show, 'Dr. M's Traveling Medicine Show'. I never heard of that even once although by now I'm a little longer than two months in Chreshire. Have you? Are there any old reports of his show being cancelled due to him having died or something like that? What does make me wonder - My Azumarill seems to have something to do with him, please send her to me with your response. Will try to find out more myself.
Oh, this time it took exactly 167 seconds before Raphael has been sent.
Once that is done and Shiva got a response and Azu, she returns to the crowd looking as if nothing has happened and everything is alright - now with a blue fae rabbit clinging to her side. She gives out a confident and very loyal impression, an old old expert belt is tied around her belly. It's not hard to spot that this Azumarill was one of this young female's most dear companions even from a short glance at the pair, it's some sort of mutual friendshippy love these two are sharing, a bond that will never break regardless what may try to sever it.
Shiva would approach Dr. M's stall once everyone else has done their trades and buyings as she wishes him to concentrate on her. They are okay to still linger and catch a word or two she will share with the Doc, but she will not enjoy any questions or comments. It's fine if this means a slight flashforward.
For the most part, she is - so far - only looking through his many goods, investigates this and that with immense curiosity. This almost reminds her on her beloved Violet Tent in Cress City! Before she'll get to trade something though, she wishes to just talk casually, she meets Dr. M in a slighty skittish but friendly and almost fascinated manner. "Well, hello!", she'd break the ice, "That's quite the cool stuff you've collected up. But please excuse me for admitting that, I have never heard of your Traveling Medicine Show - it may be because I only arrived here in Chreshire a few days ago from Unova. Do you only travel to collect and sell precious goods? Or do you.... actually 'hold' real shows, like the name would make me believe?"
Shiva is also paying subtle attention how Azu does react to this Doc - she has no idea how her dear fae rabbit might give herself towards this guy, but she's sure that Azu remembers that picture she and Master have discovered at the Fountain of Brotherhood.
BillMail: "Happy to report that Raphael contains less time energy now than he did a couple hours ago. I think very soon you'll be returned to 2017! The Traveling Medicine Show discontinued in 1935 after struggling with the economic disaster, but not before ripping off a bunch of desperate people. It resurfaced several times in history under other names. Good luck."
Dr. M: "I do hold shows, though not to entertain! No, my purpose is to educate Creshire on the benefits of Ekans skin, power crystals, and homeopathic remedies! All my miracle elixirs can be part of a show. I bring people in, pass out free samples, tell stories about how I obtained some of these rare ingredients, and sell cures to what ails you!"
Azu squints at the hat for a moment, then loses interest. The hat must be close to what her master wore, but not enough to fool Azu. The person doesn't look familiar to her at all. Of course, Shiva is storing the hat for Azu and can compare them at any time.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy!~ Bill's belief that they all will return to their own time very soon allures an overly excited sqeak from the natural fae enthusiast, as THIS was pretty much everything she wished for. She nervously looks around, hoping that none heard her though - seemingly none has, so she concentrates on the message again. Celebi's will has been fulfilled, the people's lifes are saved; however...does returning to 2017 also mean bidding goodbye to Spira? Eeeek, now that Shiva has met some fellow Breeder, she already has to say farewell. Realizing how her sweet Master turns sad, Azu gives her a fond hug, places a magic'd up red rose behind her ear and pulls out a new and shiny 50$ coin in the process, which all makes Shiva feel better almost instantly.
Humm, with Bill's information Shiva would theorize that the magician with the Azumarill in the picture-of-a-picture could indeed be a modern copycat of Dr. M.

Azu's reacting to this Doc emphasizes that, how she quickly brings her attention back to Shiva catches her curiosity quite much. He mentioning Ekan's skin also reminds her on something her dear oddball of a boyfriend has gifted her once, something that lingers in her belonging waiting to be used for something good - would 'receive something nice in exchange for Apsis' skin' count as 'being used for something good'? Shiva believes so, and smiles a little to herself.
She's not quite done yet though. "Oh.... So something like educational shows! How neat... I'd love to hear a few stories, but I guess there's barely time now. If you're having a card or a flyer I'd be happy to take it with me to remember, and maybe come to wherever you open up your stall a few more times if I can make it! Do you include Pokemon in your shows as well? And what does the 'M' in Dr. M actually stand for, have you a real doctor's degree? Oh, and...." She draws something from her belongings, it's the old tophat Azu has hid in always when she was a tiny and sad Azurill. "I found that one yesterday on a walk through Celebi Park. Is it by chance one that belongs to you? I'll just keep it if it's not." Subtly she indeed compares Azu's tophat with the good Doc's, but his own word will bring confirmation. With subtly trembling hands she faces Dr. M in an innocent way, waits eagerly for his answer to that question...
If it needs a roll to compare, that's alright. I think once all in this post has been answered Shiva would get to trading some things and Berries.

What exactly are you proposing to trade Rhyhorn for?

Hida curls around the cube and inflates and deflates his body, the Slugma version of purring.
Azumarill pulls out a 1925 $50 coin. You're not quite sure where she got that.
"Oh, great idea. Flyers for everyone!" He tosses out a sheaf of flyers about his show.
"Nope, this isn't my hat. Mine is more of a dark purple. I did have a show in Celebi Park yesterday, you must have just missed me!"
"Yes, I use real Pokemon, including my fleet of Croagunk, and this." He reaches under his shelf and pulls out a big jar full of semitransparent goo. Inside, a bunch of Tynamo swim all around. His Eelektrik comes down and curls around the jar. "I like to perform live leechings! You can visibly see the toxins leaving the body and being pulled into Tynamo, where they are converted into electricity! When Tynamo absorbs enough, it evolves into Eelektrik! Isn't that amazing? It can cure almost any problem! It's a miracle cure, invented by yours truly, Dr. Izerius Mallorn!"

"Uh, thinking better, its better I left this Rhyhorn with me for now." Heart both thinks it is suspect the way the way look to the Rhyhorn, a future Pokeball stay in the past, and because I tired in changed everytime. Heart will not make any trades. This is unchaged now for real.
"Alright. How about a complimentary leech treatment?"

(So I have a grand total of $600 Old World Poke? Sweet! Gonna hold onto that, in case Elanor or Tezeal Vally has interesting Items to purchase/haggle! Old World Poke is probably worth something to a collector in the modern age too, so if I don't end up spending it, its not going to be a big loss! ....Hopefully)
*Minor Flashback!*
Terra couldn't help himself from chuckling fondly as his seraph to be let out an excited *Ssssszzzzzz!!* as she received such a treasure, before she covetously protected it with her coils and nodded back to her papa. She'll take good care of this Chansey and make sure NOBODY messes with it! He reached down to pat her on the head, and simply said with a smile "Glad you like it, Angie."Â
She is then returned to her Pokeball to recuperate some more, and the rugged wanderer makes his way to Dr. M's stall, who's gaudiness and merchandise has caught discerning eye....
*Minor Flashback End!*
After a prolonged but
enjoyable round of haggling with the 'Good' Doc, Terra had managed to obtain not only what he asked for, but a sizable amount of bonus to his order too. Between the Energy Powders he bought and the four more he got for upselling his S.D.S. , he now had enough medical supplies to last him ages (albeit at the personal cost of its horrid taste), and the extra treasure map and pocket change he got from seeing Lovely's raw Lapis Lazulis managed to increase the net value of his transaction by roughly
20%. Overall, the not so simple monk was more than content with what he bargained, walking away from the stall with an smile.
Sometime after, he approached Nathan with the two maps he purchased and showed them to the boy, his stoic yet curious expression indicating he'd returned to his regular old self by this time.
"Bought these from Dr. M.. Said they.....show way to treasure.... *Rubs back of head* ....but don't know places on them. Can you help me read maps, my friend?"
