Severing the gauntlet connection might be a good idea, and doesn't take any rolls while they're unconscious. It'd be really tough/almost impossible to do while they're conscious though. Let me know how many you sever.
Arcanine regains consciousness with 1HP and whimpers. He runs around licking everyone he has attacked, and eventually rolls belly-up in submission/asking for forgiveness. Seems like he'll be willing to obey simple orders, though he's in no shape to fight nor to race the wind.
Dizzy gives Nathan and Gallade a quick lick too, and runs off to the north along the Route.
"The trainer? He's a tall guy with a Skarmory and a Luxray."
Being the kind hearted monk that he was, Terra easily forgave Arcanine from attacking the group, going overly to it and giving a good old belly rub, as well as a gentle smile.
"No need to feel sorry, doggie. Scimitars.......took control of you, so its all their fault, not yours. We will....reunite you with your partner Thrawn , and the rest of the Pokemon with their's too. Promise, so don't worry....."
While he's at it, if he has any marshmallows leftover that Mawile hasn't eaten yet, they'll be given to the Legendary Canine to help cheer them up.
At
that description Terra freezes, before slowly turning to
stare at the Scimitar. Though somewhat lacking when it comes to mental prowess, the sagely monk has an remarkably keen and
stellar memory, and so immediately cottoned on just to
whom they were referring too.
Marco Warren.Â
Quote:The moment the Scimitar says the trainer they'd attacked used a Skarmory and a Luxray, Nathan's demeanor changes instantly. Â His eyes narrow, he clenches his fists...
Spira and Shiva can immediately tell that Nathan is pissed off.  Heart and Terra can probably tell too, but it probably takes them a moment longer...
...and then Nathan slugs that conscious Scimitar with a Strike to the face, not holding back. If he KOes him, great. If not, Nathan doesn't care. He just needs to punch something right now, and that Scim is the closest target.
Before he could react any further, though, Nathan beat him to the punch, and quite literally at that when they slugged the horrible mage with all their pent up fury. This only left him blinking for a moment, before his expression became somehow even
more serious as he grimly nodded to the boy, to both his action and his request to detain and search the Scimitars.Â
If he wasn't already sure it was Marco they were referring, they (Nathan) had all but confirmed it with their uncharacteristic violence. Normally he'd be disappointed or angry that brute force be used against the defenseless, but in this case he 100 percent
approved of it, as absolutely
zero sympathy for the 'victim' in question. Far as he was concerned,
they deserved it.
When it came time for Nathan (and Heart, possibly) to Teleport away,
Terra took it upon himself to meticulously loot each and every Scimitar of their possession, depositing them all in a pile far away from the lot of them. Additionally, he had Tommy's help with disarming at them of all their Guantlets and other Scimitar tech too if Shiva/the others hadn't already gotten to doing that, and put all of those his his Inventory, a place where nobody was getting into easily but him.
Last, but certainly not least, he slowly marched over to he Scimitar (Whose name he wasn't even going to bother remembering). He loomed over them like one of the treacherous peaks of the Great Divide, his eyes dark, fathomless abysses that swallow up the mage if they were capable, and his posture, nay, his entire
being radiated cold, pitiless
J u d g e m e n t as he stared at and straight
through them.
If you thought Terra was terrifying before, it was nothing compared to what he was like now.
Spending 18 XP to raise Intimidate to 4 (1 XP Remaining)!
"
Scimitar."
The monk's voice rumbled out the word, like a terrible storm cloud ready to rain lightning on the earth.
"
You will tell us. About the Scimitars, and all they possess. About your plans, and why you do them. About Juni, and your leaders. About you, and why you and all your partners wished to kill a man, and bring so much harm to others. You will tell us Everything."
He said nothing more after that as he
Stared at them, but he didn't need to. It should be clear to the Scimitar that if he didn't answer....well, nothing good would come of that. At
all.
