Quote:Pangoro is pretty rare in Creshire, but yours is well behaved. So you get curious looks, but no scared looks. If anyone were to stare too much, Pangoro would roll his eyes or glare at them.
Haha, that's amusing. Shiva can sense these curious looks from the citicans but doesn't mind them too much, she's very glad that they don't come to her to bombard her nosy questions where she got that panda from and such. As long as they don't annoy him or Master or do anything that'd cause the former to outrage at 'em with full force, everything is well and there is no need to be scared of her Pangoro!~
The Friend Ball turns out rather well, Shiva feels like having done a good job on that one despite it's her first self-made Ball. Turning the final product a bit in her hands to inspect it carefully from all sides (including inside) as well as testing it by opening and closing it a few times, she smiles to herself in some silent pride: This Ball should be comfy enough for the Pokemon of hers it's intended for. Can't wait to present it. ^^
Before that can be done though, Shiva packs all her stuff together, picks up all of her Pokemon, cleans any leftovers from their dinner and heads downstairs to hand the room keys to Nurse Joy, before
she'll withdraw one 'Mon of hers in exchange for Delphox. Checking the updated weather forecast on her phone just in case, she makes her way to Celebi Park. It's actually not late yet, it's not even dark yet, but still the natural fae enthusiast can't deny that she's feeling exhausted from all the happenings lately, some calm hours spend in this park followed by a night with the starry sky marking her ceiling came very welcome now. She feels like having deserved that.
She eventually finds a nice spot not far away from the shrine but far away enough from any Tall Grass, and after she has prepared a cozy layer of pine needles to take a seat within, it was time to summon the Pokemon this Ball said to help increasing Loyalty is meant for:
It's Nightshade!
The Blossom Pokemon seems happy to see Shiva again, as it greets her with a smile and an immediate use of Sunny Day, the warm rays tickle Shiva's skin and cause Nightshade to bloom beautifully. She leaps onto Master's cupped hand and gazes at her with curiosity as if to wordlessly say 'What are we doing here in this park?'
"My, Nightshade dear one", Shiva begins in a soft voice, "You probably remember this place? Yes, this is the same park that you evolved four days ago, but for me it feels like you have done only yesterday when returning here. This park will always have a special place in my heart... And so do you." She pauses for a moment as she's trying to find proper words with a now almost sad look on her face. "I'm so sorry that I can't have you with me all the time like I wish I could, I'm probably not that used yet to having a lot of own Pokemon to care for. But, you are something special for me, and isn't it more important to share few meaningful hours together than being with each other all the time without enjoying oneself? Nightshade, you are my dear sunbringer. You're the one that makes the sun shine for me when I'm feeling down, and the very same power allows your Pokemon companions surpass themselves when they have
you as a battle partner. In don't know whether you know, but...this skill is UNIQUE as no other Pokemon discovered so far is able to do that apart from your species."
Shiva lets herself fall backwards into the pine needles, looks up into the sky peeking through the branches. A few bird Pokemon cross the sky. "...Can you remember how we first met? There, on that whitered cherry tree. I promised you to protect your from hungry bird Pokemon and that one day you'll evolve if you only stick with me.
I kept my word." Another small break before she continues. "A noble and wise Fire Type has told me that
'Pokemon are nature', that
'they are the fundamental force of it given form'. I'm beginning to see why... It's not only the Grass and the Fairy Types, which I always thought have the closest connection to nature, but ALL Pokemon... Within ALL of them Earthpower floats."
She averts her gaze from the sky and sits upright again. "Nightshade, I wished to gift you something, something I have made myself. Something special as it's made from a fruit which tree is said to be extinct or very rare nowadays. It's this unique Pokeball."
"It's said to be very comfortable for the Pokemon that's registered to it, and symbolizes the bond the Pokemon shares to its caregiver. Its green color always reminds me on my favorite Grass Types. ^^
Tell me... Do you accept it? Would you like to call this Friend Ball your new safe haven instead of your own redwhite Pokeball?"
I remember my Almanac being able to transfer a Pokemon from one Ball to another.
