Seeing that not only did his capture attempt was foiled, but that a Mega-Pinsir was the one responsible for made him grit his teeth in anger, and tightly clench his fists. 'How in the frozen depths of Kuyrem's domain does that person have a Mega Evolution?! Access to that form of power is extremely rare and restricted, so why does a vile individual have it in the first place?! Mega-Pinsir has my Apsis in a bind, and It seems to shrug off damage remarkably well; as expected from such a beast. Time to change tactics a bit, or there is a good chance that Pinsir might drown my sister!' Ventus thought, his expression belaying of the worry and frustration he was enduring. He had to maintain control in battle, or he wouldn't be able to execute his commands in an effective manner.
"Apsis, switch your focus to Mega-Pinsir now! They are the biggest threat at the moment, so make them freeze in fear with Ice Fang! After you have delt with the horned menace, retrieve the drowning man and come to shore. Show them Kuyrem's wrath, and offer no reprieve!"
Order: Apsis is going to start repeatidly using Ice Fang on Mega Pinsir until it gives up the ghost, then retrieve the drowning man for interrogation. Ventus is slowly but surely getting pissed over this unexpected surprise...
Move
Ice Fang
Accuracy Pool: Pool 2 and Pool 1
DEX (2) + Fight (2) + Brawl (2) - Pain (1) - Accuracy (1) - Consec. Action (2 on first hit, 3 on second)
Damage: STR (2) + 2 + Super Effective Hit ( Automatic -1 HP per attack, regardless of damage die roll)
Effect: *Freeze 2* *Flitch 2*
(I'd put the link for this trainer's battle music here, but I don't think this fight is going to be epic enough to warrant that. A 4v1 is rather lopsided even before considering the type advantages the 4 all have)
Totally different Mega-Pinsir Round 02
Within the next moments, several things happened simultaneously.
A huge Pinsir appeared andd opened a battle. Mega-Pinsir on top of that. Oh hell...
Minun successfully immobilised that guy in the pond with a Thunder Wave.
Apsis rushed forward and attacked Mega-Pinsir in return.
Minun had to do a hasty jump to the side to prevent herself from accidently being swept away from the cobra.
Plusle jumped out of her owner's arms and opened fire with a Swift.
Shiva, now feeling vulnerable without Plusle close to her, tightly linked arms with Ventus next to her. Sorry. She's all frightened, furious and overrun by this sudden change in situation. Mostly frightened, though.
Still, she was able to give a clear order to her rodents... Even if it were not more than two words. But they'll understand. Let's hope they hear her as well... "More electricity!"
Orders for this round:Â Double-Nuzzle! Until Mega-Pinsir's down or my rodents reach a -3 Pain Penalization.
Effect:Â Maximum electric therapy.
Secondary Effect:Â Filling the area with sparks!
Pain Penalization: 0 so far.
Accuracy Roll:Â 2 Dexterity + 1 Fight + 0Â Allure = 3 D6dice
Damage Roll:Â 3 Strenght (1 on default, +2 due to Plus-Minus-Ability triggered) + 1 Power of move + 1 STAB = 5 D6dice +1 Autodamage due to super effective.
Additional notes:Â Autoparalyzes.

Ventus was jarred out of his stoicism by Shiva firmly latching onto him, almost causing him to tip over and fall into the pond! Now with a slightly harried look on his face, he looked down at the lass in his arms in befuddled distress. 'Huh?! Why the Kuyrem is she hugging now of all times? Wait...she's
terrified of the Mega-Pinsir! Does she have some form of Bug-type phobia that is causing her to panic, or has the battle situation provoked this fear response in her? Does not matter; I must protect her regardless!' the researcher though, brining Shiva closer next to him in a half hug of sort.
"Worry not, Shiva. This villain's bug inflict will not be permitted to inflict any damage upon you, rest assured. Apsis and I will protect you, no matter the cost," Ventus says to her, briefly giving her a comforting smile, before turning his attension back to the battle pond. He needs to find this conflict NOW.
Realizing Sinbad might be in the way of harm, Sage retrieved Oshawott into his PokeBall. Seeing the Mega-Pinsir bolt out of the water was frightening despite having seen mega Pokemon before in the labs. If the Pinser was asleep he could Rufflet close enough to use Wing Attack.
Order: Have Poliwhirl use Hypnosis until the Pinser falls asleep. After he falls asleep have Ruff let use Wing Attack until the Pinser dies.
~Sage
Letting out an impressive swear as Apsis got throttled by Mega Pinsir's moves, he came to the conclusion that reigning in his snake's full might was not an option. "Apsis, continue to use Ice Fang on that treacherous insect! You have permission to use lethal force on this target, so hold nothing back!" Ventus barked out, scowling at the Mega Pokémon in question.
Shooting a look over to the mysterious stranger, he quickly shouted out an order. "Sir, I recommend you focus on harassing this Pinsir's trainer. It will be force to divide its attention between two fronts, something that would be quite beneficial to everyone here. Well, except Pinsir, but that's the entire point of this tactic!"
Order: Keep using Ice Fang, only using it a single time per round. If its brough to 0 HP, Apsis will not hold back on her attack, as she wants the threat thoroughly neutralized. She'll stop to await to see whether Ventus will let her finish her prey off, however. He also conveys an order to Sage's character, in the hopes that he follows through on the plan. Ven underestimated that bugs' strength, but he's refused to be fooled once more...
TDM Pinsir Round 3
Still clutched to Ventus. Weird... Wasn't her intention at all, she was driven by intuition and the fact that she felt vulnerable without Plusle in her arms... But in most cases, her intution turned out right. Her emotion barely, very barely lie to her. It's fine though... This time, you are not alone. He's with you. And he assured that he'll protect you. Thank you... It surely eased her a little. Just a little though. As much as the situation allowed. Do such situations belong to a Trainer's life...?
What was that... lethal force... lethal force! Oh my... He's serious about it... Now to think about it... Whimiscott are known to learn a devasting Flying Type move... Maybe, for exactly such situations... Sounds good.
The rodents were clearly more brave that their owner was. Adorable to see... So loyal to her...
Right... Orders... "Listen up! As soon as your opponent's down, please retreat to me!" No reason to put them in unneccessary danger... Especially if Apsis is ordered not to hold back.
Orders stay the same. Double-Nuzzle until M-Pinsir's at 0 HP or anything that needs my immediate interference occurs. Like -3 Pain Penalization on my Pokemon.
Sage, unfazed by his attacks not landing, decided he'd use his Poliwhirl more effectively. Seeing the frog Pokemon in pain Sage only could wish he had another potionm. He felt sorry for the oversized beast. It obviously wasn't feeling the best it could. Seeing the man called by Ventus attempting to kill the vile Pinsir Sage thought he might help.
Orders: Have Rufflet use Aerial Ace until Pin sir is dead. Have Poliwhirl use Water Gun.
~Sage
I'm not sure why, from an in-character perspective, everyone has suddenly decided that lethal damage is warranted. But OK. You all understand the potential consequences.
TDM Pinsir Round 3
Water Gun
2 Dex + 1 Fight + 1 Canalize -1 pain = 3 dice of accuracy
(6)(1)(4)
2 Str + 2 power +1 STAB -4* vitality = 1 dice of damage
(5) Pinsir takes 1 damage. 2/8hp
A burst of Pokeball light comes out of the water, but Apsis blocks it.
Aerial Ace
Can't miss, can't crit.
1d6+1 damage!
(1) Pinsir takes 1 damage. 1/8hp
With paralysis, Pinsir drops in the initiative order between Plusle and Minun.
Again and again the Pokeball light stabs out, to no avail.
Ice Fang
(3)(6)(4)(1) Hit.
Pinsir is KO'd.
Plusle and Minun flee back to Shiva, very scared of Arbok.
Pinsir's trainer has not resurfaced, so what are Arbok's orders in particular? Or anyone else can jump in too.
