Inside the airhole crate are three little fishbowls, easily carried in one hand. One contains a palm-sized Torkoal, trailing a thin wisp of smoke. The next is full of water and contains the smallest Finneon imaginable. Finally, a bowl with both land and water, containing a miniscule Croagunk. They all watch you as you unload their homes.

"How much time exactly? And what exactly will be waiting for us in the "other" side. I suposup the Scimitars have some sort of prison keeper or something like that."

, is Heart received a card too? Heart have opponed the pounce Keni give everyone when they escspe the base.
Concerning the airholes crate:
Huuuuhhh!~ Now that's neat, they indeed contain smol Pokemon. Shiva watches them in return with curiosity, gives each of these Pokemon a light smile as the fishbowls are placed onto the floor infront of her and Spira. Humm, they 'watch' - but what impression does Shiva get of them, do they appear afraid, upset, sad...? Either way, she feels delighted that she decided to take this crate along. Poor things!
"I've never seen such tiny Pokemon, even Baby Pokemon are often a bit bigger...", she says to the spectral breeder, "Have you ever? And what shall we do with them now? Do you, I mean, would you like to have one of these maybe? I like that....tiny Finneon. Or we could try to find someone who'd like to care for them."
Concerning Keni:
The whole time Lilith is by Shiva's side, the gothloli fortune teller is asked to pay attention and make herself noticed if she's got something to add or otherwise to say. Shiva herself appears mystified, and very interested. A thoughtful expression marks her.
"Mr. Morgusi, Lilith here -", *waves to Gothy* "-Has let me know that the Pokemon sent there are safe. Please, but what I wonder about is for HOW LONG they are safe there. No, this place didn't appear dangerous to me at all. Peaceful, ethereal, strange, yes... But not like it'd be harmful to linger there. Yet...." She makes an almost pained face. "It feels to me like none should invade this place, Pokemon and people alike. CERTAIN Pokemon can travel there by will, it appears however. Lilith though - she wasn't able to tell me how she could bring me back. Is there no other way apart from your card artworks to bring our trapped Pokemon back? Anything...?" She's almost pleading as she speaks that out.
Silently and shyly she adds somethingelse. "I... I also wanted to speak about 'Sideways' itself a little more, but if it's okay to you I'd rather do so solely between us. Please."

Yours is a shiny Alolan Geodude! In the background you can see wooden walls and portholes, like a ship.
The smol Pokemon seem pretty subdued, you're not sensing much emotion from them at all.
"Sideways contains only one permanent resident, and he's not likely to take notice of such relatively weak Pokemon. However, there are many wanderers in his realm, and like I said earlier, the Scimitars have been learning how to get inside. I'm not sure how many of my drawings they kept. Some were destroyed when they failed to work properly, but I later mastered the process."
"Humans aren't meant to astrally project themselves, you see. The Scimitars walled off a portion of the dimension, protecting it from intrusion. You lot are a bit special, I know, but no one really knows what would happen if a human walked Sideways with the aid of a Pokemon. It's possible your Gothitelle could bring back the Pokemon herself, entirely without your aid. That's not without risk, of course."

"Such small Pokemon, I've never seen any undersized Pokemon this small. In theory, through selective breeding, you could make Pokemon this small." Spira rubs his beard, thinking, then picks up the other two (Torkoal and Croagunk) fish bowls, "These little ones were probably made with the intention of being pets for kids that are too young to keep full-sized Pokemon, but that is just a guess." He shrugs, "I think we should hold onto them for now and see what happens."
Smol Pokemon from the airholes crate:
Humm, 'subdued' - That's worrying Shiva, for how long have these small ones been within this crate?? And WHAT have the Scims and Almanac done with them? She's starting to develop the weirdest thoughts and guesses, from them being a special breeding project to them serving as beta testers of newly invented products. Eh, if she's being honest, she'd rather not know. What's important is that they're saved!
While Spira thinks and strokes his beard, Shiva offers a bit food to each of these three Pokemon and tests how they respond to human contact by trying to gently touch/stroke each of them. How a Pokemon reacts to that says a lot about its personality and how it's been cared for. "What... What you say actually sounds plausible. And not like a bad intention at all, making kids familiarize with Pokemon from an early age..." That's a sweet though, Shiva was roughly 11 when she got Spectral.
"You'd like to keep that Torkoal and Croagunk then for yourself, Spira? Then I'll take this smol Finneon. Hellol, lil' one... ^^"
Towards Keni:
"O... one permanent resident, you say? Ah..." That reminds Shiva on that strong primal presence she felt there, it was almost suffocating for her senses. It's relieving to be assured that 'he' won't do anything to Rose, Toya, Cottonee and Azu.
"Something that's been causing me headaches, Mr. Morgusi...." Shiva speaks up once more, "Is the question WHY the Scimitars wanted to enter this realm, probably not just for fun. There must be a purpose, wouldn't you agree? Maybe you realized too, but these whips created by the gauntlets within the wall reminded me a lot on Sideways. They might aim to...abuse this realm's powers. These fools, these poor poor FOOLS..." She shakes her head and goes silent for a moment. "Did they say anything that could hint to their motivation, Mr. Morgusi?"
"Yes, I see", she responds to how humans aren't meant to astrally project themselves. "Yet they CAN with lots of effort and practive, but I've never worked on that. That risk... How 'big' is that risk, can you roughly estimate maybe? Lilith...." Shiva turns towards Gothy, looks her straightly into the calm eyes. "Is it... true what Mr. Morgusi says, you're capable of bringing the trapped Pokemon back? WOULD you be willing to try that at all for me? You... You know I won't ever wish to part from you, our bond is eternal."
They all accept being stroked, tickled, and held (although you can't safely hold Finneon for more than a few seconds). They're quite attentive, always watching whoever is nearest, but they don't move around very much.
"Oh yes. They were not shy about talking in front of me. They wanted to weaponize Sideways, in case their other plans fell through. That was the goal of the Water Scimitars, using a book called the Croconawmicon. The Earth Scimitars were more interested in 'cheating' using extradimensional space. They thought they could build special Pokeballs. Special attacks. Special machines half in one world and half in the other. That kind of thing. Oh! If you know what you're doing, you can enter Sideways at one location and come out another. Or even to another world entirely, filled with stronger beings."
Gothitelle is willing to give it a try.
Nathan's listening intently to Keni's explanation of sideways and what Shiva experienced while in there herself. He's staying quiet for now, but he's thinking about all of this very carefully.
