There aren't as many Kadabra in this chamber and you have a lot of help in various forms - do you plan to fight or to escape or something else?
Spira is ragged from the Sigilyph fight, Hida and Nubi are a little worse for the wear but still ready to fight. He then addresses Elya, "Do ya happen to have any revives or reviving spells that I can use on Toya and Noire?"
She tosses you one Revive.
Heart fought Howl, something in the Barrow Downs, Kadabra, encountered the Caged Pokemon and the Scims, and now this. So he's at -3.

Shiva will be at -1 if she decides to join this on the way out, or maybe on the next Encounter if there is one?

Heart could feel his own body tired after so many battles, he panting a lot and trying to focus in the battlefield. Both Quetzal and Doublade also show such thing. "Damnit! We have to end this battle quickly to find some place to rest! Doublade! Set up some defenses to us with Wide Guard 2x! Then go with Shadow Sneak 2x times against Sigilify! If they faint focus your attacks on Kadabra!"
"Quetzal! Tailwind! Then use Rock Slide 3X on Sigiliffys and Kadabra! We must end this battle quickly!"
If Quetzal or Doublade HP get Half of its value or close I use a potion. And in case of Burning Full Heal.
Wide Guard 1Â Accuracy: Dex(5)+Fight(4)+Channel(3)-Penality(3)-Actions(4)=7D6
Effect: Reduce foes damage by 3.
Wide Guard 2 Accuracy: Dex(7*)+Fight(4)+Channel(3)-Penality(3)-Difficulty(3)-Actions(5)=3D6+1
Effect: Same.
Shadow Sneak 1 and 2Â Accuracy:Â Dex(7*)+Fight(4)+Brawl(3)-Penality(3)-Actions(6/7)=5D6/4D6
Damage: POWER(2)+STR(5)+STAB(1)+SE(1)=8D6+1
Effect: Priority attack.
Tailwind Accuracy: DEX(5)+FIGHT(4)+CHANNEL(3)-PENALITY(3)-ACTIONS(4)=5D6
Effect: Increase everyone Dex by 2. Both allies and users.
Rock Slide Accuracy: DEX(7*)+FIGHT(4)+CHANNEL(3)-PENALITY(3)-ACTIONS(5/6/7)=6D6/5D6/4D6
Damage: Power(3)+STR(5)+SE AGAINST CHANDELURE AND SIGLIFY(1)=8D6/8D6+1 against Chandelure and Sigifily.
Effect: D3 to flinch foes.
So in total, we're facing...
4 Kadabra
2 Sigilyph
1 Unown Swarm
1 Chandelure (maybe. Depends on how aggressive it is after the Psychic types are defeated)
Alright, let's get cracking, then!
Together We Stand:Â
Boss Battle 1 - Kid Icarus Uprising
Charizard: He's going for crowd control!
Heat Wave x4 (targets Kadabra, 1 Sigilyph, and the Unown)
Acc: 14 - 2 Exh - 1 Acc - 4/5/6/7 = 7/6/5/4
Dmg: 3 + 5 + STAB = 9 D6 base
Eff: Burn 1 (1)
Note: Blaze might be factored in
If Heat Wave gets Disabled or there's only a single target remaining, Charizard's got another trick up his sleeve: switching to focus firing!
Shadow Claw (conditional order, targets the Unown first if they aren't KOed yet)
Acc: 15 - 2 - 4/5/6/7 = 9/8/7/6
Dmg: 3 + 5 + SE = 8 D6 base + 1 damage
Eff: 4 successes crits
Calam: He doesn't have a whole lot he can do to immediately help with a large swarm unless he's in an ambush, so let's try this! 4 actions, starting with...
Me First! 1 (on an Unown)
Acc: 7* + 5 + 2 - 2 - 4 Act = 8 D6 (14 D6 base)
Dmg: ?
Eff: Priority +1 (lol). Copies Hidden Power, which will result in whatever Calam's does. Don't know what it will do, but it'll get +1 damage dice if applicable thanks to Me First.
Depending on how that goes, that'll determine what Calam does next.
-
If Me First copying Hidden Power seems to be an effective option in this situation, then we'll keep using it as long as we can, then switch to Night Slash (non-lethal, 16 base accuracy, 10 base damage) when we can't (i.e, when Me First is Disabled or all the Unown are KOed).
-
If Me First isn't an effective option, then Calam will simply use Night Slash (still non lethal), targeting the Unown first. And if Night Slash is Disabled, Calam will switch to using Pursuit.
Nathan issues his orders to his pokemon, but also makes a note that Feraligatr isn't free yet! "
If someone hits that switch over there with some electricity, Feraligatr might help us too! I'm pretty sure it's them, anyways!" Nathan isn't saying it to anyone in particular, but if one of the Scims, Luxray, or Meowstic (cuz Female Meowstic learn Charge Beam via level going from the games' movesets) end up doing that, great!
Nathan's got a Potion Orchid ready to use on Calam should his HP drop to 4 or less!
Chandelure will not be targeted with attacks unless it seems like it's going to be aggressive towards the group.
Light Screen and Reflect are up, Wide Guard support is incoming, Marco's pokemon are all getting involved in the action as well...
This seems like it'll be a solid strategy. Let's see how it pans out...
Spira promptly uses the revive he got from Elya on Toya.
-on to battle orders-

Charizard has a very different idea of what "Crowd control" is compared to me/the Scims.
Luxray does something different, utilizing his Rivalry. (Nathan knows Marco's Luxray has both abilities as a Surprise. There's some way to turn off Luxray's Rivalry with a calming item, but Nathan isn't sure what it is.)
Luxray uses a weakened Roar on all three Kadabra at once, herding all the male Kadabra to one side. Of Marco's Pokemon, Luxray is best suited to fighting without a trainer.

Cosh radios to Terra to update him.
Luxray jumps up from where he was blown.
Charizard restores 1 HP with his Leftovers! Â (forgot to apply this after the 2 dozen Kadabra fight. Â Oops. Â Oh well.)
Does he restore any more before the adrenaline wears off?
He could restore 1 more if he goes with Arachnautilus to make sure she doesn't kill any Kadabra. Same for any other leftover users.
(W-where did that Meowstic get so many Suprises on Sucker Punch from?? I'm impressed.)
(I'm also pretty impressed by what Arachnautilus did - she really seems to be 'VERY strong in the way Shiva defines strength'.)
(06-03-2019, 01:54 PM)Iron Wrote: [ -> ]Cosh radios to Terra to update him.
Shiva is with Terra and/or has taken a communicator from Cosh as she escaped, so in either way she ends up being informed as well.
As soon as the message arrives that the coast is seemingly clear, Shiva makes haste reunite with the others; she'll come flying into the chamber with max. speed thanks to Raphael's Extreme Speed and Whimsi's Tailwind. The first thing she'll notice as she lets her gaze wander around, are the others of the group looking VERY exhausted and tired yet delighted and accomplished, followed by a lot of fainted and defeated Pokemon. Oh, and Arachnautilus who
still doesn't seem to had enough fights for today.
And of course all the familiar-unfamiliar Pokemon that aren't posing a threat at all, even from briefly looking at them Shiva can guess that they're
- suprisingly strong and very well trained, and
- belonging to nonelse but to Nathan's dad. Because, there's no other possibility.
Obviously due to her awakened blood and messy fur that white Meowstic catches her interest and curiosity most, but due to respect she doesn't so more than giving the psychic cat a friendly and genuine smile.
She will briefly check in on everybody, human and Pokemon ally, ask whether they're okay, help them up where she can, stuff like that. None seems to have suffered any serious wounds luckily. "That... that sure must have been a rough and tiring battle. But look - *gestures around* - look, you've made it, be proud of yourselves. ^o^*" Then, much more coyly, she adds a quiet "I'm sorry that I've left you...alone in this. Very sorry. Excuse me for that, I might have to...get used to this whole situation of being down the Ruins now at first, and I'm not that sustained in my energy and fighting will. *awkward silence before she perks up with determination in her eyes* I...
I will make up for that soon, don't worry!!"
For example by checking on that third and final Chamber to see whether it's indeed safe like Arachna says, which includes letting Yena sniff and Azu listen for any hostile Pokemon that might still lurk there before she'll dare to take a look herself. Naturally these plants Arachna mentioned interest her the most, she'll investigate these as soon as she can do so.
And by offering to take the first shift of a nightguard if we need someone to do that.
Quote:He could restore 1 more if he goes with Arachnautilus to make sure she doesn't kill any Kadabra. Same for any other leftover users.
That approximately what I wanted to do too, lolz. Yena currently carries the Leftovers Shiva has.
