Solomon picks it up (it's much too ethereal to attach to anything or be sliced by ordinary means) and clenches it in his stubby paw until it steams. Then he holds it to his mouth, aims it at Terra, smiles, and makes a slight whisper.
Immediately the little fortress is rocked by an astoundingly large noise. A shiver of fear goes through everyone in the room who isn't wielding an Artifact. All the Pokemon on the outside of the fortress take off - you can hear Sigilyph fluttering - but no new mons come to investigate like you'd expect.
And Terra? Terra is gone, running as fast as he can up the passage from whence he came. It takes him an hour to calm himself enough to approach Solomon again.
This item is called the Frozen Roar, and has kinship with the Adamant Sphere. It's the roar of a Legendary Pokemon imprisoned in metal. A Pokemon holding it can use Frozen Roar as a Canalize move. If successful, it makes any non-legendary Pokemon flee (up to six at once). Alternatively, a trainer can hold it and give a fierce rallying cry to their Pokemon as a Trainer Action, which works like Helping Hand (no roll).
Finally, whichever character holds it is immune to exhaustion penalties and pain penalties.
"
Waaaaaaaaaah!"
That's what Terra, the nearly indomitable and most serious and stoic of sagely monk, exclaimed at the top of his lungs as he was driven from the fortress by Solomon's Frozen Roar, galloping at extreme speed (No, not THAT Extreme Speed!)Â
away from the biblical soveriegn! '
Retreat! Escape! Flee from danger! ,' and similar thoughts pervaded his mind by that
terrifying noise over and over, leaving no room for any notion in his head other than
getting away and doing soÂ
fast as he can strain his legs. Angie (Who has probably been waiting outside for her papa to finish his business in that rocky dwelling) similarly bolts away from the vicinity in tandem with him, going so far as to scoop him up and use Agility to speed their escape!
Suffice to say, the Frozen Roar was most Effective against Terra and his own.
Eventually, though, the steely brawler and his angelic DragonÂ
would regain control over themselves and their faculties and make their return to the fortress, and the very
first thing they do is confront Solomon, both of them glowering most
severely at them. Angie herself  *SSSSZZZZ!* irritably at the scholarly sloth, while also bearing her
sharp and
pointy fangs at them to show just how
unimpressed she was with his stunt. Though normally docile and easy going for a Dragon,
nothing can incite her Type's/lineage's infamous ire more than messing with her papa
or humiliating/disrespecting him and her!
"Solomon,
no.
Bad sloth.
Don't scare me like that again.
Understand?"
Yeap, he's not too about their prank(?) either? He's not
mad mad per say, but he's none the less displeased by it and being the test target.
Regardless of who owns the Frozen Roar it'll be given to Heart, but if it's Terra's
he'd silently look at the Overgrown king to get them to hand it over, and then walk over to give it to the pun lover, doing so with a light smile and a small degree of solemnity. If it's Solomon's he'd gesture for them to give it to Heart with much the same expression (expectant authority), or request Nathan to give it to them if need be. This is what he has to say to them in any case:
"Here. Deserve it, after....sacrfices and struggles you made for us all. *Expression becomes stern*
Don't use it to scare us, or for jokes. It not funny at
all."
With that, everything's done with the Frozen Roar for now! Hopefully it hasn't/didn't stop Terra Looting the Pseudo Throne Room, or he'd be even
more upset about the
interruption!
