Well, that hadn't lasted long...hmmmm...he'd have to ask Shiva about how (and if) she wanted to even the playing field a little when it came time for their battle...Nathan was going to want a fair fight between them, after all!
Nathan turns his attention back to the training, but now has one more thing to think about...

I lack the possibility to taw her up with Fenbekin out, so how it'd be if you have Apsis use Fire Fang on her to taw it, do that we can go on instead of stopping here?"
(I'm not the one that rolls the dice, blame
!)
Letting out a sigh, Ventus just shook his head at her, a bit disappointed by her reasoning. "Shiva, Fire Fang will hurt it as much as Ice Fang, if not more if they get Burnt in the process. Even a fleeting blow will do tremendous to them, and if Apsis properly sinks her fangs into Cottenee...it won't be a pleasant sight to see. If you insist on ending the battle this way..." he said, trailing off as his outstretch hand chopping a downward motion: an indication for Apsis to resume its attack. "Then so be it."
Order: Have Apsis use Fire Fang on Cottenee continuously until its thawed out, Knock Out, or both. Well, one way or another, the battle is over. This won't sit well with Ventus...
If Apsis holds back, he could treat it as a "supereffective move that thaws the ice immediately." I have no problem with that.

(Ventus already offered Shiva mercy by ending the battle early. If she want Apsis to use Fire Fang despite how bad of an idea it is [Disregarding what you have just said was possible], he'll have Apsis use the move without holding back. He hasn't pulled his punches yet in this battle, so why would he start now? )
Naturally if Ventus doesn't want to try to even the playing field, he's not required to do so.

"And you think being frozen solid does not hurt? You can do what you want, whether you hold back for the fluffballs safety
is your call and appreciated, but I don't want the battle to end now, since it leaves me helpless about the ice. Don't want to wait until it tawes on its own."

Ventus pinches his nose and grumbles a bit to himself, before he sighs and shakes his head yet again. "...Mercy isn't usually available in battles, but I'll make an exception in your case. You are not inclined to fighting as the rest of the group is, so more time practicing with Cottenee's abilities would do more good then immedianlty ending our battle together.Â
Apsis, restrain your Fire Fang so that it only thaws that pixie out, then switch up and use Bite on them. This isn't how you normally operate, but just follow my lead for now," the researchers say, not looking particularly happy at the moment at the young lass' insistence at continuing the fight. She knows that Nathan has Swiftfire, and he has a Lum Berry that could unfreeze it, so why must she continue to struggle? It baffles him.....
Order: Turns out Ventus has more of a soft spot for Shiva that I first though! Apsis will thaw out Cottenee using Fire Fang, then stick to using Bite for the rest of the fight UNLESS she somehow gets to 5 HP. In that case, Poison Stings away!

(Because she doesn't want to rely on him for help entirerly.)
After Cottonee is defrosted, Shiva withdraws Cottonee from the fight.
Fennekin and Cottonee get 2Xp for defeating Michael. Shiva gets 2Xp.
Apsis and Michael have 7XP they can split up as they please. Ventus gains 3XP.
Fennekin burbles happily in his sleep, dreaming of flame.
That's it then. Both Shroomish and Fennekin were out of the fight, and having Cottonee battle against Apsis would be suicide for more than one reason.
Shiva came over to the battlefield to collect Cottonee after she has been tawed up. Fluffball will likely have sensations of hot and cold at the same time... Indeed, upon picking up her up, her white fluff was cold to the touch. She brought the fluffball closer to both herself as well as Fennekin, who was still safe in her arms, unable to fight. „You did splendid, dear one! Thanks for engaging in the battle. I hope you two had as much fun as I did; for now, Cottonee, feel free to warm yourself up on both me and Fennekin here a little after being frozen solid... Oh, you'd rather be withdrawn into your ball? That's fine. Have some nice pleasant rest.“ She withdrew Cottonee. Fox shall enjoy being that close to their Master as long as possible and cuddle up as much as he wished... since once fluffball and fox evolve, Shiva won't be able anymore to carry them in her arms like nothing.
Next, she came up to congratulate Ven on his victory. Actually, what else was there to be expected, than him still standing with Apsis by his side? „Hehe... Quite a nice battle, don't you think? Thank you for the challenge in the first place~“ Shiva then came closer. She was way too close. So close that she could outright thank him with another... But she didn't. Instead she just gazed deep into his eyes from the rim of her glasses, her gaze was filled with innocence, while that mischievous smile she gave him would make a Whismicott envy her. Good thing Cottonee wasn't around to see it. "I'd give you another hug, or another kiss on the cheek as a better thank-you, but I noticed it makes you aaaaaall neeeervous all of a sudden for some reason. I wonder why? Hmm... Whatever it may be, I bet I'll cottonee up on it at some point. Or you could just outright tell me." Before Ven could say anything though, she placed one finger of her free hand - one arm was needed to keep Fennekin close to her - on his lips like if saying 'Nope, don't tell me. It'd take away the fun of this game you started!' Then, she backed away and gave him some space. Teasing him was quite fun, somehow! But it was enough for a day. (Perfect moment for another level-up in Allure! But not enough XP :/ )
Rather quickly, she got back to her calm and concerned self again. "So, back to the camp then? How much did I increase battle skills in your view then? Also, I noticed you were using more than one move seemingly within the same Round... How do you do that?"

Mechanics:
Unless Ven has something to say, back to the camp and Nathan I go~ I have a small request to Nathan.
