Even if the light from the stove was low, it already proved itself rather useful since it brought a door to the side of the corridor. Halding the others - my, she was absolutely not used to lead a group, but they relied partially on her, did they? - and carefully stepping closer, it tuned out the door was open. And from what she could tell from the things on the shelves, it must be a storeroom. Do the Scimitars live down here...?
Turning away from the door, she faced the others."Turns out the room's not locked, and it looks like a storeroom to me." Then turning to Kyuu in her arm. "Can you detect any other persons or beings within the room with your psychic powers? Anything that has a mind and thinks on its own, really, don't be specific." Then to Nathan: "Kirlia might want to do the same, please." Then turning to Ven. "Depending WHETHER there is anything in there or not, can you afterwards send in Lucifer to frisk the room for anything important or possible alarming systems? Gastly might be quite helpful on this, too." If all this turns out fortune, we could see that room by ourselves, or we could just move on. However, it's the end of the hallway, and the door there is locked, so we'll likely have to return unless the path continues from that storeroom."
(Wait a moment... Didn't we snatched a key from the former Scimitar?)
Nothing alive can be detected in the storeroom, nor any traps.
It's actually quite small. All the cans are labeled as vittles: water, cans of food, more of those little stove things. It looks like many of them have been used and tossed aside.

(Is that the general description of the place, or what is actually in the room after its been searched by Ventus and Lucifer ?)

The latter. I will also clarify that there are no further doors in the storeroom.
...Yes, the Scimitars must live down here at this Base, at least temporarly. Not the most comfy place in Shiva's view, but rather quiet and secure if one got used to it. To her, the room looks like someone was there not too long ago, given how more of these stove were scattered around or tossed aside. Weird.
Wait, more of these stove-thingies? Neat! However, before Shiva could bring up the idea, are there enough stoves + disk for fuel (I still have some of these pocketed) that everyone in the group can get one if desired (we'd need 3 additional ones)?
"Looks like the storeroom is a dead end. However, Ven, didn't you snatch a key from the Scimitar before...? Could you try it on the locked door outside this room, please? Just try, afterwards we can decide further actions."
After conducting his search and turning up nothing useful in particular except used rations and other supplies, he exit the rooms and shakes his head, signaling to the group the unfortunate new. However, Ventus soon pulls out the key he 'recieved' earlier from the now subdued Scimitar, and held it out for the group to see, and was about to launch into his speech when Shiva pre-empted him yet again. He is left silent for a moment, rethinking his response, before he say "Its possible that the key can open the other door nearby, or at least that is what I suspect, given its former owner's proximity to it. However, the door might be trapped or something else could be inside the room, so could Kyu or Kirlia use their psychic powers to detect if anything is in there first before I do so? For that matter, could Ghastly phase through the door and check out if their is any interesting in the room itself? After the Psychic types have a chance to scan for danger, of course."
There's about 20 of the little stoves.
There's nothing with a mind in the room beyond.
Gastly doesn't recognize any dangers in there either.
A few minutes later, the Psychic types and Ghastly came back negative on potential threats inside the closed off room, so Ventus nodded his head and told everyone : "Well, they said all clear, so I'm going to over their to test the key on the lock, and if it opens, explore/search the room with Lucifer. Be on guard just in case their IS something in their that can potentially harm us, even thought the risk is minimal. " If the key doesn't work on the door, he'll temporarily recall Lucifer and summon Apsis to use her strength in order to tear open the door!
How handy!~ There were enough of these stoves that everyone in the group could have one. She made haste to meet up with the others who already stepped outside the storeroom, rather excited about her finding. "However, people, they're rather hot to the touch without protection, I'm using a scarf to prevent burns to me, but if you can find something equal and want to have your own small light source, there are enough for everyone of us in there."
"Also,Ven, please wait a moment before opening the door in case the key matches. There might be an alarm or signal system connected to it, triggered if anyone steps through the door. Call me too cautious, but I'd better be safe..."
She then turns to Nathan. "You have a Porygon2, do you? Think it could help us with on this, please...?"

"Alright, I'll wait. Nathan, if you would please? I don't need a stove personally, as your suffices enough for my vision and I don't have protective coverings for my hand, but thank you for informing me, my friend."
