Aye, I think a roll is in order for Kirlia to notice - but a Psychic type is going to win a battle of wills more often than not. All Kirlia needs is one success on Insight + Alertness. Survival won't really come into it since it's purely mental. And Ventus' will is not strong enough to resist the mental reading, except by chance, when it's something as fundamental as his identity.
There are quite a few people in the room, however, so it's possible Kirlia would overlook Ventus.
(5)(2)
So it happens as Nathan describes.
Kirlia can't read thoughts though, so he has no idea why Ventus is here or what the point of the disguise is.
Ventus does not react at all what so ever, and just quietly minds his own business while pretending to read a magazine about Cheshire's celebraties latest mishap and publicity stunts.
When everyone had finally departed to their rooms for the night and he was absolutely sure that no one was going to follow/harash him, the masked researcher get up and makes his way to his room.
Once inside, he packed his hat, the Scimitar Cloock and mask away, before he gets out the OTHER different looking cloack he pilfered from the bas, took out one of his black bandanas he had packed a navy blue t-shirt he had packed into his clothing, before he crafted yet ANOTHER disguise for himself. Now instead of looking like V from Vendetta, he looked like some cross between a Gangster Punk and a Ninja trying WAY to hard to appear edgy/cool. Looking into a mirror and practiced slumping aggresively a bit to get into character, the empath nodded his head in sastifaction, before preparing for bed. 'If Kirlia saw through my persona so easily, then I just have to adapt to that in order to subvert their expectations. Can't let them plan for my appearance in order to sideline and derail me, after all.'
With that thought in mind, the empath slipped into bed and fell asleep, getting all the rest he needed in order to do his best in the Running tomorrow, and be the helping hand that Nathan needs. Not that they necessarily want it, of course, but the boy has no say in the matter despite his frequent protests!
Order: Since Kirlia saw through Neo V Disguise, Ventus is making himself another one to replace that, and will use that disguise for now on instead, taking double precaution to ensure the Kirlia or anyone else can't pick him out until its far to late. This is the idea I had for the t-shirt :
http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-m...inja-mask/ , and I think everyone knows how a bandana is tied around the head. Also my character is going to bed, and awaiting the day of the Running, of course!
Everyone ready for the next Day?

(Not yet, but the post is almost finished.)
(EDIT: It's up.)
Off Shiva was, with Cottonee close in her arms and Azurill back in her party, healed up to full HP thanks to Nurse Joy, not caring about any missing oddballs of Sociologists, a new person with an Axew or being free from that Castaclay-thingie.
First stop-by was, as said, Nurse Joy to pick up Azurill. Second stop-by was the Cafeteria of the Center, enjoying a calm and vegetarian dinner together with Cottonee. Third and last stop-by was the Lobby and again Nurse Joy, to ask her to please prepare the exam to get the Breeder's Lisence for Shiva, for she would like to take on it after the Running.
...before she headed up the stairs to her dorm at the highest floor. Barely anyone was at the staircase, were they all already in for sleep to be ready for the Running? Nevermind, the first thing she did after she arrived at her dorm and closed and locked the door (she won't leave it anymore 'til morning) was throw herself onto the bed and cuddle up to pillow and the fluff Cottonee left there for her yesterday night. So kind by her... Currently, Shiva needed that because she was plainly exhausted by the day. Not in a bad way, she was happy how much she achieved today and what has happened today - yes, even that scene at the camp counting in -Â but now she was glad to be back upstairs at her place in peace and solitude. Cottonee, seeing her Master like that, remembered her pouring her worries out on the fluffball, and immediately was beside Shiva to listen again if needed. Shiva herself found that...unbelievably adorable and caring, and expressed this by carefully stroking through Cottonee's fluff. "Hehe... I'm okay, dear one, no worries. You are there. You already had dinner with me downstairs, so you want to rest for now until I'll get to bed too? I have to take care of your companions first."
This started with Braixen, after Shiva got dressed for the night (today in dark lilac nightdress with white frills decorating the seams) and lighted an incense of Cedar to calm herself and her nerves plus self-esteem. She will likely NOT tell Ventus how she called for him there at the camp.
Calling out her magical fox, she motioned him to take a seat beside her on the bed, before sighing impercible and facing him directly, speaking in the usual soft tone. "Listen up, dear one... I still don't quite understand why you are so sad lately. I'm not blaming you, I never would, it's just... What can I do to make you feel better? Please do tell me in gestures if you like. I'm your Master, it's my personal duty to care for you and make sure your well and safe."
"I also prepared this for you..." She handed Braixen a small plate of the same type they use down in the Cafeteria, filled with a batch of fresh fruit, berries and Gourmet Food, all sprinked with pieces of the cinammon sticks she bough on Corsage. "This is for you. You might recognize the aroma, I bought some cinammon sticks for you earlier that I actually wanted to feed you in whole when you were still a Fennekin. But, I hope you like them nevertheless. Alright?" ... "Also... you will be with one of our party members tomorrow because he needs the aid of your luckycharming. It's that young one with a Kirlia, I'm sure you already saw him. I'll have him promise to take good care of you to ensure your safety, please obey him in return. Again , I am NOT AND NEVER trading you away, you are just on loan for most of the day. Okay? Enjoy your food." What folowed, was an appreciating stroke over magical fox's cheeks.
After fox replied on this and was likely enjoying his special dinner, next thing: Helios was cloooose to master Double Team, Shiva could feel it. Oh the anticipation! Perfect timing, actually. Gym battle will be the trial run for Toxic-Double-Team-Combo then. Helios was luckily not asleep when Shiva called him out, but was looking up to his Master. He too seems to feel that he is so close to it.
"Good evening, Helios!~ It seems like you are thinking a similar thing like I do. So, no words needed, please show me the effort we took in tutoring you."

Mechanics:
I hope this will help a little to raise Braixen's mood and get him to be fine with being loaned to Nathan. Also hopefully the last Double Team Tutoring Session now, No.4 if I'm not mistaken? Tutoring Roll still consists of 7 D6 dice, only 1 Sucess is needed to learn the move enough to use it in battle. Come on, dice, make it happen!~ After this has been wrapped up, I'm down with the dawning of the Running-Day.
Braixen can only shrug helplessly at your question, but he eats the food. He actually seems interested in hanging out with Nathan for a day and getting to smell the wonderful smells of the Running. The Daycare Center never really interested him.
Training:
(3)(4)(1)(6)(3)(5)(1) It's enough! Abra reliably duplicates himself now! You can't even tell which is the real one until he releases the doubles.
Kirlia had stopped when he pinpointed where Ventus is.  And he immediately informs Nathan where the researcher is as well.
Nathan marches right up to Ventus and makes sure Shiva can hear what he says.
"You're not helping your case any by trying to hide from me and Shiva, Ventus. Â Ditch the silly disguise and stop with the theatrics. Â This is mine and Kirlias'Â problem to deal with, not yours, and trying to 'help' when it's not wanted is only going to end badly for you. Â Stop acting like my mother by trying to protect me from every little thing that could go wrong. Â I didn't leave Trillium to be pestered by overprotective tendencies."
And after making absolutely sure that Ventus's cover is blown, Nathan marches off to his room, with Kirlia still glaring at Ventus. Â Kirlia didn't like this conflict any more than the others, but this is one topic he had no qualms with arguing about, so he wasn't going to stop Nathan this time.
It was time to get some sleep though. Â Consequences would have to be dealt out tomorrow.
(And THAT is why Nathan dislikes this doting so much, and also partially why he doesn't want to return to Trillium quite yet.)
Heart was sleeping in the chair with a book in his face saying: "Poke Jokes for Dummies". He snore a lot but finally awoke and yawn. He strech his body and free his Axew from the Pokeball.
"Look, I know we begin with left foot yesterday, so lets have a good day walking? Perhaps we could find something interesting in this town perhaps. How about it Koa?"
Free a little Hpmf from Koa, Heart decide to explore the city and the surounds.
(Is there any interesting place to go?)
Day 25 dawns!
When you leave the Pokemon Center, you can see that everyone has gathered to the North of town - not on Main Street at all.
Peering carefully into the distance, you can see a great cloud of dust rising on the mountains north of you. It slowly focuses as it grows closer. You can even see the dark, fuzzy shapes of some of the larger Pokemon - the Running is within sight!
It seems it will reach here at about 10:00 am.
Kory has some last-minute training for Nathan. "We need to work more on manipulating Pokemon. With Swiftfire and Kirlia, and Skiddo and Lopunny, we can practice some more specific techniques for getting Pokemon to go where we want them in the Running. In my opinion, it's what separates the mere athletic from the genius." He has you drilling on this, but Nathan himself is instructed to save most of his strength aside from a warmup.
"Also, you should eat some of that Honey. We tend to do a lot of yelling above the noise of the Running, calling orders to our Pokemon. And you and I will have to communicate to each other."
, Some of the things near Ginger Town:
-The Daycare Center
-The Great River Greenbriar, a huge river with good fishing
-Vapor Falls, a huge waterfall with lots of Flying types in it
-The market set up to take advantage of those who are here for the Running.
You journey with Axew until he begins to run off to get into trouble - he always wants to steal food, break wooden structures, or chase smaller Pokemon. Whenever he runs off, you immediately recall him into his Pokeball.
