Stop acting like my mother by trying to protect me from every little thing that could go wrong.  I didn't leave Trillium to be pestered by overprotective tendencies."
And after making absolutely sure that Ventus's cover is blown, Nathan marches off to his room, with Kirlia still glaring at Ventus. Â Kirlia didn't like this conflict any more than the others, but this is one topic he had no qualms with arguing about, so he wasn't going to stop Nathan this time.
It was time to get some sleep though. Â Consequences would have to be dealt out tomorrow.
(And THAT is why Nathan dislikes this doting so much, and also partially why he doesn't want to return to Trillium quite yet.)
Ventus does not react at all, shows no sign indicating that he was worried/concerned about his outburst, or even acknowledging their heated words as he just continues to read his magazine, ignoring the irate trainer completely. When they stomp away to their room and Shiva journied through the lobby and went to their own, he does so as well, and prepares for tomorrow regardless of the adversity they face.
"Lets go to the Market. Perhaps we could find something cool and some items who knows." Then me and Axew journey to the direction of the Market.
Forgot to add yesterday: when Shroomish evolves, he gains 2 Happiness - one for the evo, and one for Pidgeot's defeat. His goal has always been to be able to kick birds outta the sky!

(That doesn't happen, Windos dear. I stated in Meta Thread that she wasn't in earshot as this happened, but in the Cafeteria for dinner.)
Heart see all the local charms and everything. He was trying to find something to buy useful items: Potions, Full Heals and perhaps some Pokeballs. He find a tend and ask about the items.
"Excuse me. I would like to buy two potions, 1 super potion and one full heal please."
After buying some items he decides to Vapor Falls and find some neat Pokemon and perhaps find a Challenge.

When you leave the Pokemon Center, you can see that everyone has gathered to the North of town - not on Main Street at all.
Peering carefully into the distance, you can see a great cloud of dust rising on the mountains north of you. It slowly focuses as it grows closer. You can even see the dark, fuzzy shapes of some of the larger Pokemon - the Running is within sight!
It seems it will reach here at about 10:00 am.
The empath arose early in the morning and conduct his morning routine, doing his level best to compartmentalize and surpress the dour feelings and worried thoughts that Nathan instilled within him last night. What they said about his overprotectiveness his sensitive hear HARD, as it unearthed the unpleasant memory of Rachael (His sister) abandoning him for his own dubiously well meaning actions, but it didn't alter his plans in the slightest as he donned his Biker Ninja once he completed his morning stretches.
'I must do what is required to ensure my dear friend's wellbeing and bodily integrity, and if he abhors me for smothering his own directive in this personal matter of his,
so be it. At times, one has to sacrifice the comforts and will of others in order to do what is best and just for them. Even if it the consequences of my aid means the destruction of our friendship and/or obliterating the cameradance between me and Nate...' he thought, clearly troubled by all the drama and already broke trust he has caused between him and the young trainer, but still resolute in his decision. He might not be doing the correct thing in this matter, but he IS doing what he believes is right for them, their mother, and everyone else that cares for them, and therefore will not be sway in helping him.
When he was fully in character, he released both Raphael and Michael and got them familiarized with it and his General Plan during the Running ('Try to catch a Rare Pokémon and avoid being seriously injured, and be ready to move in and help Nathan out with Absol if it appears and cause trouble), gave them a few glasses of water to hydrate them for this grueling event, before recalling once more. Ventus then exited his room and made his way to where the Running was being conducted, taking care to stay out of sight and range of Nathan, Kirlia, Shiva, etc..
Order: Prep my two select Pokémon for the Running, keep out of mind and sight of Nathan for the time being, and get ready for the big event! What will be the outcome to all this build up, I wonder?

With Swiftfire and Kirlia, and Skiddo and Lopunny, we can practice some more specific techniques for getting Pokemon to go where we want them in the Running. In my opinion, it's what separates the mere athletic from the genius." He has you drilling on this, but Nathan himself is instructed to save most of his strength aside from a warmup.
"Also, you should eat some of that Honey. We tend to do a lot of yelling above the noise of the Running, calling orders to our Pokemon. And you and I will have to communicate to each other."
Nathan follows the instructions, just like before, and sends the combee out to get some more honey to make up for that as well.
However..."There might be one potential problem, Kory. Â One of my traveling companions is being as overprotective as my mom, maybe even more so. Â I warned him about how dangerous this run is going to be and told him dealing with our target is purely mine amd Kirlias' business, but he refuses to back down. Â He's probably going to be the only other runner crazy enough to try running down our target, and I've explicitly told him he's not to interfere even though I'm technically at risk for all we know. Â I don't want him to get involved in what I'm trying to do, period. Â He's more likely to make things more dangerous or get hurt himself than actually help..."
And just before the Running begins, Nathan will have Braixen use Lucky Chant. Â And wanting to help, Kirlia will also join in the chant and learn the move for 17 exp!
"Good luck to him. The Running is so chaotic. Without being privy to our training, he will have to be very lucky indeed to control his place in the field. I hope he knows when to bail out. What's he look like?"

It seems it will reach here at about 10:00 am.
When the alarm clock of her cell disturbed the peace and silence of the mystically upgraded dorm (however without dream catcher, *sob*) with an actually non-distubing tune
at blasted 6:30am, Shiva had nothing better to do to turn the alarm off, calmly place cell back onto the floor and cuddle back into the pillows. It was...way too early... Oh Arceus, was the fluff from Cottonee comfy and cuddly to her...
Too bad that the one the fluff originally belonged to was right beside her. Already up and about, and constantly nudging Shiva with one of her leaves. Somehow, the fluffball must have known that this is an important day although she didn't quite understood what exactly was so important about this. Or it was just her prankster-nature that shines through.
"Cottonee... Stop that, please..." Fuffball didn't though, it looked like she only got more eager in waking up her Master. Around ten minutes later, Cottonee finally won and looked overly pleased and proud as Master was FINALLY getting up from bed, walking up to the window where no selfmade dream catcher was hanging and protecting her and taking a look outside of it. "Oh Reshiram... There are already people on the streets... Preparing for the Running it seems. Madness..." Or the spirit of competition in sporty events that Shiva completely lacked.
Finishing morning rituals, she soon was walking down the stairs in direction of the Lobby to meet up with Nathan, before having mild breakfast and making her way to the Daycare to watch the event safely on a screen, away from any issues and Absols apart from Infiltrator-Absol that wasn't present now anyway.
Upon handing Braixen's Pokeball to Nathan: "There you go. Take good care of him and please bring him back to me in one piece. If not... Well, things will not be pretty
AT AAAALLLL then. Anyway, I wish you the bestest of luck on the Running, please make sure to stay safe...
And, you, know, if you happen to encounter a Tropius... Well, uhm, I doubt you will have the time to catch it for me, but it'd be nice if you'd at least think of me when you see one. Okay?" Before he left though, Shiva would...hug him. Warm and softly, but not in the same degree of closure as she was doing with Ventus.
(I assume you have Braixen now in your party, Nathan?)
