"We have an accord, then. It was a pleasure doing business with you, stranger. May this new Absol of yours shield you from disaster...or at the very least give you sufficient warning to prepare yourself for it," Ventus said, before he flicked his wrist and produced the Dark type's Pokeball, while his other hand was ready to summon Apsis if the figure tried to do anything unseemly mid to post transaction. They exchanged their respective fortunes with a swiftness that comes with practice in such dealings, and then departed each other's company, the empath making his way to the Pokémon Center once more to await the rest of his friends. All in all, besides nearly ruining his friendship with both Shiva and Nathan, today had been a lucrative and thrilling day, and it wasn't halfway over!
Digging his hand into his left pocket, the sociologist pulled out his cell phone, flipped it open, before scrolling to Dr. Mallorn's name and speed dialing it. "Hello? Dr. Mallorn? I just wanted to let you know that I have recently captured a Tauros, and I remembered you were interested in having one of the bulls for your own use. If you are still in Ginger Town, would you care to meet me in the Pokémon Center, where we can discuss what will be exchanged for it?"
Order: Now that all that trading is out of the way, time to call Mallorn and collect the bounty on that Tauros! What does the businessman/researcher have on offer for the wild bovine, I wonder...?
"I'm on the outskirts of town, but I can turn back no problem, boss! I need Tauros for my delivery business. My offer is $1200, take it or leave it! If you're agreeable, I'll meet you right back at the Center."

"I don't know why you think its a grand idea to employ such an ornery Pokémon is such a field, but you always find a way to make things work in your favor. The Tauros is of no use to me anyway, and I doubt that my friends would want to handle such a tempermental Pokémon, so you have a deal. I'm heading towards the Pokémon Center myself right now, so I'll see you then, my friend!" Ventus said to his boss/fellow researcher, before he hung up and returned his phone to his pocket and made double pace towards the Pokémon Center. Time to collect more Poke from his captures, and give a prayer to Mallorn that his newest Pokémon doesn't end up goring them!
Order: Head to the Pokémon Center to meet up with Mallorn, hand over the Tauros for the offered amount of Poke, then go over to the PC and return Lucifer, Hanael, and Abaddon to his team rooster. Then he's going to sit tight in the lobby for the time being, or do some activity related to his conversation with Shiva. The timelines may be sorta out of wack, but just waiting around for everyone else's quest lines to resolve is a good way to resolve it!
"Phantump return! Go Clauncher!" Heart return his Phantum pokemon and bring out his Water Pokemon.
"Now lets see if we can do right this time. Clauncher! Use Crabammer one then use Bubble!"

"I guess that means it's up to me to find out, then..."
Why him?  What was coming? When would it be time?  And if Mesprit is here...where are Uxie and Azelf? Nathan would be leaving with more questions than answers it seems...who knows when he'd be revisiting this chamber to properly awaken the Legend...he almost doesn't want to leave, but there's nothing more he can do here until fate deems it time, it seems...
"I'll be back eventually, Mesprit...I hope we're both ready for whatever's coming when I do...until then, I wish you well. You must have quite the heavy burden on your shoulders..."
And if Mesprit has nothing more to say, Nathan and Kirlia are going to leave the cavern and go back to where Absol is standing...
Absol nudges Nathan back into the cavern, cuffs Kirlia again, and yips at the purple gem on its pedestal.

Nathan has to blink a few times...hmmm...he'd missed something that obvious? Â Maybe he just wasn't thinking straight right now...wonder at being in the presence of a Legend...fear for what might have happened during the Running...anger that Ventus undoubtedly did his best to meddle where he wasn't wanted...caution lest he anger a being that could fry everything that defined him with a mere touch...relief that whatever danger was coming hadn't immediately affected Shiva...Nathan wasn't entirely sure how he was going to handle it all...
But it all starts with that gem and Kirlia, apparently...
"I'm sorry, Absol, Mesprit, Kirlia...guess I'm a little too caught up in myself right now, and missed the obvious...Kirlia, go and touch the gem, please. Â Whatever needs to happen, let's just do it."
Kirlia touches the purple gem. It springs to life in rays of light. Radiating out from the heart of the jewel, runic figures occupy the beams of violet. They resolve themselves into more familiar shapes - the ancient letters of Unown, which Nathan knows well from studying the history of the Johto region. He knows that in Sarimanok's time, the Unown were a bit different and untranslatable, but these are now the readable, familiar Unown of the Ruins of Alph.
The Unown stream to the smooth walls and affix themselves there, quivering just a little. Many are gibberish, but in the center of each wall is a readable passage glowing with brighter light.
"The ancient power has been disturbed
It shall cover all in vines
Like the ruin from which it springs"
"Only a sharer of unselfish love
Can stop the mannikin false kings
And end the disaster of stone"
"A journey to the ends of the earth
And the beginning of the land
The only other way."
