Skorupi comes skittering out of the cracks in the road, looking for food. It doesn't seem at all afraid of Nathan...by that hungry look in its eyes, it has fought off humans before.
Tyrogue initiative: (6) +2 Dex 1 survival = 9
Litwick: (3) +5 = 8
Cottonee: (2) + 5 = 7
Tyrogue will evolve based on its trainer's attributes.

So that's what spooked Kirlia...a Poison/Bug type. And a hungry, battle ready one at that.
No wonder Kirlia was a little scared.
There are far scarier things out there, though.
And Nathan's not in a very good mood right now, nor does he appreciate being threatened or presumed weak.
"Kirlia, Confusion. Let's show this bug we aren't all that scared of it either."
Confusion x3
Accuracy: 8 base - 3/4/5 Actions = 5/4/3 D6
Damage: 2 Power + 3 Strength + 1 STAB + 1 CP + 1 SE = 7 D6 base + 1 Damage

(5)(6)(3) Ventus catches a young Shellder, who takes the Oran Berry (now treated as a held item).
Some examples of Pokemon clothing include flimsy cutesy little goggles, tiny hats that clip to fur, fake webbed feet, tutus, vests.
The researcher takes one long look at the bivalve, before he turns his gaze over to Apsis, who was doing her level best to use Baby Doll Eyes in order to persaude him to let her dine on their supple, briney flesh. Ventus deliberated for a brief period of time, before he smiled and made a flourishing gesture in Shellder's direction. "Fresh Shellder, straight from the Greenbrair River, garnished with Oran Berry. Bon appetite, Apsis," he said, the playful yet earnest look on his face signaling his permission loud and clear, earning an estastic and hunger *Hiss!* from the giant cobra. In an instant
Apsis spray down the Shelldar with deadly venom, before rushing forward to Wrap up around it and sinking her sparking fangs into its body, intent of faint, killing, AND cooking it in all one fell swoop!
Orders: Apsis has full permission to eat this Shellder, and will be using Acid Spray, Wrap, and Thunder Fang in the first round to accomplish this, followed by 3 Thunder Fangs per round after the first one. If it uses Protect at all, she will wait until the move wears off BEFORE launching her attack on it. Time to shuck some oysters for my beloved snek!
Moves
Acid Spray
Accuracy: DEX (2) + Fight (3) + Channel (3) - 3 Actions = 5D6 Dice
Damage: STR (3) + 2 + STAB - Vitality (3) = 3D6 Damage
Effect: Known
Wrap
Accuracy: 7D6 - 4 Actions - 1 Accuracy = 2D6 Dice
Damage: 1D6 Damage
Effect: Blocks targets, Roll 2D6 Dice worth of typeless Damage against them at the end of each Round
Thunder Fang
Accuracy: 1 Dice
Damage: 3D6 + 1 Damage
Effect: *Flitch 4* and *Paralysis 4*, thanks to the Necklace of Serenity!
After Round 1:
Thunder Fang's Accuracy: 7D6 - 1 Accuracy - 3/4/5 Actions = 3/2/1D6 Dice

Cottonee surely had her fun to try on
everything that either had a flower pattern or reminded her just a little on peaceful nature, as well as playfully chase her Master through half the store in a pitchblack oversized witch's hat. Shiva silently enjoyed to to the same degree, but hid that relatively well for any outsiders to not arise unwanted attention or distress the shop's owner and other customers. What started out with a decorative wad of cotton in Professor Mallorn's lab, has soon become a precious friendship between human and Pokemon that'll likely never end and never gets boring. Even that experience was worth enduring all the hard times that hit Shiva so far while traveling with the group, although she'd probably not admit that.
None of the items seemingly interested the fluffball enough to allure Shiva to buy it though, but she found a flowercrown made of felted red roses that'll never whiter and instant-dragged it to the counter to later gift it to her blue mouse. She seemingly had a liking for these royal flowers and was even able to somehow summon them, so she'll hopefully rejoice over it - Azurill was just another Pokemon Shiva felt blessed to call it her own. Better not think about what would have happened if the party would be near the river just a little earlier or later and missed the Pokemon streaming down...
Additionally, Shiva finds and buys 3 items for herself:
- A knitted scarf in a deep blue colour, with an Alola-Ninetails displaying on one end of the scarf and a Kanto-Ninetails on the other. Both are pictured howling at the same moon that decorates the mid-section. It was cozy but not too warm to be suited only for the winter season and she needed a new scarf for the journey anyway since Kyuu can continue wearing her tartan-scarf. She'll wrap it around her neck right after buying and will continue wearing it for the rest of the day.
- A comfortable black shirt
with this print, because why not.
- A long Ranger's cloak made of thick-looking but velvet black fabric and a dark green colour on the inside. There seemingly was some Furret's hair weaved in because when trying it on, Shiva got the feeling that it'll keep her warm even on the coldest peak of the mountain and protect her during the harshest walk through the forests Chreshire could provide. It also had a big hood to conceal her face if desired and a large pocket on the inside to collect herbs and similar found items along the way. (I'd pay extra if this piece is too much to get it for free.)
...Now that was a good result of a random shopping trip.
Packing away the bought items, Shiva then left the vendor after thanking them again and finished arranging her new scarf in a mirror the vendor kindly held up after she payed. That shirt was actually perfect to wear it during a long night in a Center's dorm while reading or crafting (or if discussing things with the group takes longer), and comfortabe enough to leave it on during sleep. The cloak spoke for itself.
Cottonee was noticeably calmer now and resided to float along her beloved elusive Master while keeping watch over anything that might hint on more nature on this Route. Not that the Route hasn't been excited - but the vigor of the fluffball was high and bubbling today, looks like this was the perfect time to send some sparkly breezes into a foe's face?
...Shiva actually did not actively searched for a foe to do so, it was more a lucky coincidence that a real and eager Tyrogue jumped out of the crevance and stopped the fairlylike human midway, well aware that she was way larger that he was! Nevermind, Shiva knew this species of Pokemon was known to challenge everyone and to any time in a way to get stronger and hone its skills. Secretly and for just a moment, she admired such a determination and confidence - challenge accpted, there you have some action dear fluffball. And smelled like a neat opportunity to get Litwick used to his new Master. So much vigor must be like a feast for the candle and make a great sacrificial offering to her view... Cottonee must have picked up this from her Master and eagerly leaped forward to await orders, she didn't even flinched as the Litwick has been - yet still hesitantly - summoned to her side. He turned around to look at the human person whose reflection of his blue-lavender flame in eyes and glasses were eerie magic happening before a Great Ball nudged him, only earning a shaked head and a hand pointing to the Tyrogue on the other side. "No, Litwick. You're not getting my life force now. Take a look at Pokemon that stopped us midway - to me, it's overfloating with vigor and will. Battle for me, obey me and you will be allowed to drain its energy as long as you desire once we fainted it. YOU HEARD THAT, TROGUE? Now bring it on and show me that vigor you're known for!"
Order's for that Round: Challenge of that determined Fighting Type accepted, let's make this an enjoyable battle and trial for Litwick! Cottonee will use a two Fairy Winds right away while Litwick will block the foe in a vortex of fire. If Fake Out is used on Cottonee, she will try to evade that as one action instead of attacking.
Accuracy Roll Fairy Wind 1: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 3 Channel - 2 Actions = 6 D6
Damage Roll Fairy Wind 2: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 3 Channel - 3 Actions = 5 D6 + 1 autodamage due to SE
Possible Accuracy Roll Evasion: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 0 Evasion - 2 Actions = 3 D6
Accuracy Roll Fire Spin: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 3 Channel - 2 reduced Accuracy = 6 D6
Damage Roll: 2 Strenght + 2 Power of move + 1 STAB = 5 D6
Additional notes: Blocks and lasts 4 Rounds, 2 dice of damage are rolled against the foe at the end of each Round.
Possible Accuracy Roll Evasion: Pointless since Litwick is immune to that move.
Flame Body from Litwick is also active, 3 CD to inflict Burn1 on Tyrogue are rolled if he hits the candle with a physical attack.
(? Could we finish the battle the most quick possible to Heart going to Star City too? Loosing or winning doesnt matter anymore. Just finish already)
Hiker Stubble Round 2
Loyalty: (5)(5)
Disobedience: (5)(1)(6)
Nosepass hefts a stone and hurls it at Koa.
Rock Throw
(5)(4)(4)(3)(5)
2 Str +2 power + 1 STAB -3 vit = 2d6
(5)(3) Koa takes 1 dmg 5/6hp.
Strike
0* Dex + 2 Fight+ 1 Brawl
(6)(3)(6)
5* Str + 1 power -3 vit = 3d6
(3)(5)(6) Nosepass takes 2 dmg 4/7hp -1 pain.
Axew barrels right into Nosepass, slamming him up against the bridge wall. The ancient stone holds sturdy, overcoming Nosepass' resistance to physical damage.
Hiker Stubble Round 3
This is just a normal little Shellder, so it's not worth any XP to Apsis. The huge snake easily defeats the Shellder and cracks its shell with a powerful squeeze. Hissing in delight, she pries the broken shell open with her tail and eats Shellder. Ventus now has a partially cracked shell.
As for Shiva's shopping trip, you only need to pay extra for the Ranger's Cloak if you want it to actually be a black-market official uniform. If you just want one similar to what they'd use, without the insignia or decommissioned, that can be free.
With everything it's pass until now with the time everyone must be already in the path to Star City. The rare Pokemon I could try caching. Damnit. If there something Heart hate a lot, it's loose the chance in caching a awesome and rare Pokemon.
"Okay Koa let's finish this quickly. Sorry buddy but we fortreit this battle. If we continue this, that could consume a value time."
Then Heart surrender. Continue this fight is meandless since with paralyzed it's more difficult. He call back Koa and decided to return the Pokemon center and heal koa. And go in the way to Star City.
(Well? What I seeing?)
