After a while, this hug became embarrasing though plus Ven might desire to catch up on breath, so she rather soon distangled her arms from his neck. That delighted smile remained though. "Hehe... I'm sorry? I'm just happy that we made it... Now, uhm, I'll be visiting that Gothitelle again now, then pick up that pink Mystery Egg (that one oozing those cute pink threads!) I reserved for myself. I need to go to the Extension of Telperion University later, as well as desire to pay the Department Store a visit before we start working tomorrow... I feel like Nathan might need a little support from my side as well. So, Ven, if we won't happen to see each other for a few hours, you know where I possibly am!~ See you then..." Off she was with a wave, outside the Play Room in direction Inamate Room she goes.
Ventus and Lucifer were so shocked with Shiva's frostly furious reaction over Rotom that they were frozen stiff, with the devil bat quickly thawing and taking refuge in the researcher tweed sweater in fear! Nope, he wasn't going to be around fairy lady when she THAT angry, particularly if he's at risk of being a target of the icy temper, so time to huddle in tweed until the danger passes! Fortunately, things don't escalate from there and tension rapidly simmer down once its apparent that neither side of the conflict wanted to quarrel about this in the first place, though the empath was keen to notice that the boy left feeling rather burnt out/depressed from the argument. Between the battle and Shiva subsequently glopping him, however, he ended up being FAR too distracted to make any comment on it/notice he ended up leaving the premise, and simply decided to silently just ride out his dear friend's cuddles with as much restraint on his part as possible. When the mystical lass reluctantly ended the hug and told him her plans for the day, he just gave her another one of his trademark radiant smile and rubbed her hair, before wishing her well for the day.
Once departed, the sociologist let out a sigh he didn't that he was holding and shook his head, ruefully thinking to himself 'Never a dull moment to be had between either of my companions various reactions. I pray that nothing further amiss will comes from all this...' , before heading over to Director North and receiving his assignment for the day! Time to get to the grindstone and while away that debt!

Text sent (he really hoped Ventus didn't take out his frustration with Nathan on the poor dog...), it was time to move on to something else and vent some of his frustrations.ÂVentus, remember when we talked about everyone meeting Orthros? You recommended I hold off on revealing him for a few days while Shiva recovered from...whatever little she might remember. Well...it's been two weeks. That's how long it took for me to earn Orthros's trust. For him to listen to me without a fuss. Â
In my battle with Sheldon, I gave Orthros a test run. He was a good little doggie, didn't have any qualms or disagreements with the orders I gave him. Sheldon was actually very interested in him. Crowd wasn't, but that's their own fault.
It's time to tell Shiva about Orthros, Ventus. And I'm going to do so this evening. I can't hide that I have him forever, and we both know this.  However...I'd like to ask you to let me show her without you around. Orthros is, quite frankly, terrified of you. He can't be on his best behavior if he's cowering in fear. You did also agree to tolerate him if I could get a handle on him, so please, please don't raise a fuss over this. And there's no need to be worried about her safety. I'll have Calam and Starmie both out as a safety precaution.
If you don't believe he's obeying me, I'll be more than happy to show you myself. There's plenty of opportunity in the future to do that. Like in the Little Cup event currently ongoing.
And...please don't treat him badly because of what I've done recently. He's behaved himself very well in the past two weeks, not causing any trouble for anyone since he decided to join my team, never forcing his way out of his pokeball. The topic of Orthros hasn't come up at all in that time, either. There's been no need until now. I pray that there aren't any issues in the future, either...
After dislodging a Forrestress from their hole for what seemed to be the 7th time in the row that afternoon, it was finally time for Ventus' half an hour lunch break for the day, something which he took with great euthusiasm given how back breaking his labor was! He choose a spot overlooking the armor clad bugs for to eat his meal (In case he spotted one getting stuck in their own burrows AGAIN, oh dear...), unpacked his meal (Sandwich, chips, and a bottle of Irish Breakfast tea), and just as he was about to dig in his phone began to buzz, signaling that someone was trying to call/message him! The researcher immediantly whipped it out and flipped it open to see what was going on, as the only people in the region that could get in touch with him were Shiva and Nathan, and they wouldn't do so unless it was urgent business or they needed to inform him of something important.
Well, he was absolutely right on both accounts, as it was a text from Nathan, and the contents of it.....well. "........What in Kyurem's frigid domain is that stubborn, reckless boy thinking?! Does he still not realize the myriad problems in doing such a awful, selfish thing as forcing that monsterous mutt on Shiva, the least of all is severely damaging his already monomolecular edge thin relationships with her and myself? No, Nathan is many uncharible things, but he isn't an ignorant or idiotic, so he absolutely know beyond a reasonable doubt the fallout he'll cause by doing this. Yet he would still go through for the sake of abomination that shouldn't exist in our world, much less be show compassion and mercy to the species horrid nature and past transgressions?! And he has the sheer gall to forbid my involvement in this mater on top of everything else?! RRrrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggh!!!" Ventus all but growled out under his breath, with an a fury that bordered on blinding hot RAGE that he had to stamp out quickly, least he cause a scene on the job and be called in to see what the heck is the matter with him to cause such a fuss.
His iron hard grip on his emotions easily allow him to do so, but it by no means completely dispel his anger about the future crisis, only tempering it to the point that he wasn't about to cause a scene or go hunting down Nathan and string him up by the shoelaces for being so....himself about this. Still, it was enough for the irate sociologist to give the message one more read through with a more discreening eyes, trying to find any weak point in the young trainers argument or think of anything that he could level against them to prevent them from doing their foolish things...and more or less came up short. Well, not quite: their were many, many arguments that he could come up with that would dissuade the average person from doing something as foolish as accepting a demon as an ally and forcing their friends to accept it too, but Nathan has proven time and again he's anything but average. 'Once the boy has his mind set on something, no matter how naïve or narrow sighted it would be, he won't be dissuaded in his judgement bar considerable amount of effort and evidence. If they have considered all the massive harm their decision to keep and force the vile vermin on us, and would still go throught with it, then nothing I say or can present will change his mind at this juncture,' the researcher thought to himself, giving the boy's text message another seething glare for another minute before letting out a pained, deeply displeased and miserable resigned sigh and casting his sight skyward, watching the clouds dance across the sky in the perfect harmony of nature. By the Tao Trio, why must this boy endevour to make himself a figure of adversity in this group by doing such foolish things?!
There were other niggling feelings and grievances that also contributed to the sociologist's thorough contempt for the matter: namely, the matter of his earlier promises with they young trainer, and the fact the he saw fit to warn him about this in the first place rather than brazenly (Well, more brazenly) going ahead without his input/knowledge. His first instinct was to completely discard the promises he made in the past with the irksome young trainer, as they had recently lost a lot of faith within them due to them being abrasive/anti social one to many times, but with another heavy sigh and shake of his head he rejected such an idea. 'No. I am and was a man of many disciplines, but being an oathbreaker is and will never be one of them. *Sigh* What more, the foolish, reckless boy has a point, even if its only valid because he ardently refuses to rid himself of that infernal, vile abomination or give it to researchers better equipped to restrain and gather information about it. Shiva, despite my best efforts on my part to prevent such an outcome, will eventually learn of the dream fiend, and it would be preferable, if only barely so, to introduce her to it in an controled environment with all safety precaution enabled. Which, frustratingly, I why I can see why he dictated to me not to be a part of her reveal, for their is no way of knowing how that demon dog will react to my presence. Grrrrrraggggh.....' Ventus though, staring numbly at the sky and radiating frustration at the situation that Nathan was forcing him and his dearest friend in due to his misguided and selfish desire to keep that beast, before he averted his gaze with yet another sigh and opened his bottle of tea and took a long draught of it. Just thinking of the issue + the boy was exaushting both his patience and Vitality, arggh...
Still, despite his HIGHLY grudging aquisal to Nathan's chosen plan of action, the empath didn't for a second believe in the dubious claim that they had gotten that infernal beast under his absolute control and subjecation, which in turn meant that he was under no obligation to treat the vile thing with anything but contempt and thin, THIN tolerance. He was also displeased that he couldn't attend the Reveal himself, regardless if he understood the reasons why. With those two thoughts in minds, Ven bit back yet ANOTHER sigh and began to record a voice message for Nathan, his voice carrying a slight growl and plain dissastification in it that perfectly conveyed what he thought of their message: "You know my reservations on the matter, Nathan. You know the consequences of what will happen due to reveal Orthors. You know what damage you could possibly inflict on Shiva, and how it will adversely affect your friendship with her (And myself, though that was only implied). Yet, you will persist in this goal of your, despite all the ill it will do to the group as a whole. You still have a chance to reconsider. To release that dog into the care of Mallorn or another researcher. Gggrrrr...what is the Reshirim damn point of trying to dissuade you at this point. You already made up your mind on this, haven't you. Nothing I say will matters, beyond re-affirming my promise to you concerning that beast, and agreeing to your request for me not to be in attendance with Shiva for what will be most definitely a unpleasant reveal. Fine. Fine. You have my permission, however forced it is. On one condition. Introduce Orthros to me, Raphael, and Apsis first, before you do so with Shiva. I frankly don't trust that creature, as you are well aware, so if its well under control as you say it is, then it shouldn't lash out at the ones who slayed its kin in that nightmarish plane of existence. If that dog does attack me, well it only prove my point, doesn't it? I expect an answer soon, Nathan."

Recording the message and sending off to the boy, Ventus let loose an impressive growl that he had be holding back throughout the recording, before sighing and began to quickly dig into his lunch. That message and his own cost him most of his lunch time, so he better dine fast or be forced to dig out Forrestress will only smoldering anger to sustain him!
