Ventus was already at the van when Nathan arrived, from what he can tell, in pretty foul mood. Hearing him mumble about riding in the back, he hesitately chimes in, say "You know, I bet the drivers would be willing to revive Swiftfire. They are quite generous and kind, and they said they had plenty of Moo Moo Milk, so why not ask them for help?" He was going to ask for help himself, after he was finish consuling Raphael, but Ventus was willing to let Nathan use their services early.
"If they can't, you can trade places with me. The top is pretty stable, and the Miltank is pleasant company to have."
After about an hour, Swiftfire can recover enough to drink some milk and get back into the swing of things.
"Nope. Too slow." He winces at the hit and sticks his hand in the air. "I'm calling it, Sir. Back here, Sieg."
The Pidgey flutters over, it's ego as bruised as it is.
"As you've demonstrated, I'm not ready for to take things further yet as a Trainer. I'm calling this in your favor, Sir." He turns and plods away from the Trainer and his Machop towards the RV as Moran scuttles over to join him. Already his mind is whirling, weighing it's way through the experience.
"Let's get you patched up. Moran, good job out there. Outstanding fight. Same for you Sieg. I made bad calls in that fight and I'm still getting to know your strengths. Sorry about that." He reaches over to gently ruffle the small bird's feathers. "And Winston, sorry my nerve didn't hold long enough to get you some fight time."
Spotting Nathan, he angles towards him.
Judging by the expression on the Ralts' face, he was having a bad afternoon.
"Bad fight, Nathan?" He asks quietly.

Nathan is on the brink of snapping at this point. Â Ventus is on the tail end of a rather angry and snarky sounding reply. Â "Unless they have actual, really expensive Revives, there's nothing they can really do. Â You do know no healing item aside from those has the ability to revive fainted pokemon, right? Â Wounds are one thing, consciousness is another. Â End of discussion."
To Vincent, all he says is, "Yes."
He walks off, still in a foul mood, waiting for everyone else to arrive. Â He's still keeping an eye on the battle though, since there is still reward money in it for him if Larry can pull it off. Â If he can't...well, Nathan wouldn't be very happy about that at all. Ralts is still sulking as well, but now has a touch of nervousness thrown in due to Ventus being around. Nathan also lets Swiftfire out of her pokeball so he can keep an eye on her. He just sits right next to her as she lays on the ground, thinking about his failures from the past few hours as a trainer...
The Blacksmith still pays you for defeating his first Pokemon, since you helped him train. Moran gets 3XP and Vincent gets 1. (thanks for being flexible)
"....Sometimes our anger can get the best of us. He has more reason than not to snap at me, though," Ventus said, more to himself than to the nearby Vincent. Sighing a little bit, his smile was partly diminished from Nathan's scolding, but he wouldn't let it keep him down. He had to be cheerful for Raphael, after all. Turn his head slightly so that Vincent was in his sight, he continued to gently carass his little angel. They still looked rather sullen about its loss, but Ventus' action were clearly having there intended affect, as it was not at the verge of tears anymore.
"I found some Stardust on my short excursion, and caught Shroomish for my team. Well, more like I convinced him to join my team, but he part of the family now regardless. Raphael, however," Ventus briefly sighed for a moment, looking a bit sadden at, "Got trounced by him. He hasn't taken his loss very well, but they'll be fine. My little angel will learn from his defeat, and grow stronger and more experienced. Such is the way life."
"So we both got our asses handed to us." He sighs inwardly.
He glances down at Nathan's Ralts as it scoots off after Nathan to watch the fight.
"Hey, Ralts. Try to cheer the kid up, will you. It's not his fault it turned into a doubles battle unexpectedly. Sure as heck isn't yours either."
"Sieg." He reaches into a pocket and passes the small bird a crumb of hard tack. "That wasn't fair on you either, really. I should probably have gotten you an easier dance partner for the first outing."
"Let's get you, Moran and Winston some milk. We can go looking for trouble later."

Ralts murmurs sadly in relpy. Â There wasn't much he was going to be able to do to snap Nathan out of this funk. Â Particularly with the distraction of Ventus around...he continues towards Nathan, equally as sullen looking as his trainer. Â The two of them sit there, waiting for Larry's battle to end and for either Swiftfire to wake up or everyone getting ready to leave.
Minun and Plusle Round 2
Encounter Theme: Eletrifying!
"Hey - That's not how it works!" Shiva withdrew Cottonee after taking two overjoyed attacks, leaving only herself and the Electric rodents on the clearing. Seems like these two weren't up for just sit and watch.Â
Fine! Change of the actual plan then
~! She croached down to be around eye level with the rodents  and crammed a little in her bagpack. A few moments later, she drew something that looked like a Minccino's tail on a stick... It looked sorta played, given the tattered ends, but was overall not broken. A the base, where the tail connect with the stick, it had what apperared to be a Soothe Bell attached with a violett ribbon. It has lost most of its shine, but still gives a faint chime if someone snatches after it.
"You lil' ones would rather play?" She broke the ice by tickling Minun where its nose would be.Â
"I'm down with that!"
---------------
Mechanics:
Turn the 'battle' with Plusle-Minun into a play session. You know, let them snatch after the Minccino-Tail. Chase them across the whole clearing. Being chased across the whole clearing. Play Hide 'n Seek, the looser will be tacklehugged. Not even mind, instead laugh about it if they playfully use Nuzzle on me, because that's the risk you're taking when playing with an Electric-Type! (although it will leave bruises)
Let them have some fun. Power them out a little. Make them not wanting me to leave.
No Damage or Accuracy Roll.
Larry looks at both fights seeing oshawott trying to fight both "hmm who should fight nicada?" Larry asked to him self "wait I could try and catch it before any thing else" Larry said "ok you fought well nicada but now lets try to catch you!"
Order: throw pokeball
Larry looks over at the other fight against the Ice Climber "Ok oshawott hit the cubchoo with a tackle" Larry told him "ok Ekans your time to shine!" Larry let the ekans out "hmm what to do" Larry asked as he forgot what he wanted the ekans to do "crap! No wonder uncle Norman is always putting pressure on me" Larry said a bit frustrated "Ah ha! Ekans go fight how you want with the sundae." Larry commanded the ekans. Larry then told Nathan "the art of training is to make your enemy play your game."
Order: oshawott will Tackle the cubchoo and ekans will do as he pleases on vanillite
