"Thank you, Director! I will update you if I've made any significant progress with them, or if additional.....complication arise. I wish you the best of luck in your work as well!" Ventus replied, before making his way to the Inmate Room (If I recall correctly) to tend to the stressed Pyroar. Upon entering,
he first atunes his empathy and sight on the fiery savannah cat to get a general sense on how he feels right now, so as to modify his approach and methods to care for him. The researcher also take the time to glance at both Kingdra and Gothitelle to make sure they are alright as well, if possible!

The Daycare Checker receives data from all the Daycares in Creshire, showing amount owed, training performed, length of stay, Eggs produced, that sort of thing. The Move Tester contains a database of your Pokemon's moves, and what they are effective against in battle. The Encylopedia Scientifica actually has nothing to do with Pokemon. It contains articles on science, like the definition of a black hole or the molarity of hydrogen."
Hmm... This Encyclopedia sounds very interesting, but Shiva is the type of person who learns/studies best from real books. She even owns a few books about natural and applied science she bought when she was old enough to understand them.
The Move Tester felt like something she could reproduce in paper with the help of a PC in the Center and enough spare time if she's putting some effort into it.
The Daycare Checker is what catches her interest. But, wait a moment... "Does that mean there are more Daycares in Chreshire than the one in Ginger Town? I, uhm, actually desire to become professional in the field of Breeding... But before I'm not finished with journeying through the region and can actually settle down somewhere, this Upgrade has less usage for me. But I'll certainly check back then! Maybe by then there are even more Upgrades. For now, I greatly thank you for your time. We'll probably see one another again...sometime."
There was one more floor Shiva desired to pay a visit before heading upstairs to the Trading Post.
It was... the Held Item Floor.

In fact, she visits this floor with her cherry-like Pokemon resting closely to herself on her right shoulder, semi-hidden behind strands of hair and receiving occasional nuzzles from her Master. It seems like by now, Nightshade has earned herself a spot in her Master's heart.
Yes, their stock seems quite limited, but that touch of power, as well as that manufacturing of items caused her to wonder about something... In curiosity and slight hesitation, Shiva approached the counter with the vendors, while holding something safely in her hand that was yet not visible.
"Uhm... Hello. I have some sort of question, wondering whether it could be possible... See, I have that stone here -"
*placing the stone Shiva snatched from the eremit's cave there on the counter* "-and if touching it, it clearly emits some sort of power as if it's been exposed to power, but it does not seem to have any power on their own. You understand? I've been, well...wondering whether it's possible to turn this into a Heat Rock, containing the power and warmth of the sun? Maybe channeling the power in some way? I don't quite know where to turn to with this idea, this floor here in Department Store was what came to my mind at first. I do have a Pokemon that can brighten up the sun, and I'm able to pay shall you be capable of manufacturing a Heat Rock out of this special stone."

3 Insight + 3 Knowledge + 0 Science +1 Bonus
(4)(4)(5)(6)(3)(6)(1)
A total XP gain of 6 for Tynamo.
Well, he didnt evolve yet, but at least this is something. Heart felt he is close to make Tynamo evolve somehow. "Well, at least a little more. We both something new today." Heart then gives Tynamo a little more tap in his head. "There is something I would like to test. Could I use the wire for a minute?" When the recepcionist give the wire Heart give some quick order. "Okay Tynamo, I want you to use Thunder Wave in this wire and test what you learn. Perhaps with that we might be a little more close to your Evolution. A little at least."
Action: Use the Thunder Wave to charge the wire and walk around the room like the others eletric pokemon do.
Acuracy Thunder Wave: Dex (3) + Fight (2) + Canalize (3) = 8d6
Tynamo succeeds in charging the wire, inducing magnetism in Forretress. Seems he has learned the lesson well! Definitely a step closer to evolution, but it will still take him lots of practice.
"Great job Tynamo!" Heart pat Tynamo heads, impress by his little pokemon. "We still have work to do, but at least we make a good step. Thank you for you help. There another thing I would like to ask: Some Pokemon, like Magnemite and Beldum, evolve though unite themselfs with others from their races in magnetic field areas. If Tynamo be in some Magnetic Field he can have better chances to evolve?"
"No, not to my knowledge. Unless it helps him learn to generate electricity."
"Hmm if I recall there are two powerfull Magnetic fields in the Region: Mt. Sentry and Mt. Molten, with the second one the mostly powefull. There also Trillium Town who have Metal Ore who have eletricty and Magnetic Fields. Guess our next destination is the Mt. Sentry Tynamo." Heart looks to his Pokemon. "With a little luck, the natural field might help him to evolve. Again, thank you for your help." Then Heart go in the direction of the Departament Store to sell the Nugget.
Action: Go to the departament store to sell the Nugget. 6800 Pokedollar in the cash. Gonna buy...2Â Full Heals, 1 Revive, the TM False Swipe and Protec (want to see the price of these too). In total is 5700. Gonna Teach Koa False Swipe to be more easily to catch Pokemons and of course Protect I gonna teach Aron or any other Pokemon of mine to save some EXP to any other move.

"There must be a lot more you need to tell me. Come inside and have some lemonade."
What better theme for a horse ranch?: Lon Lon Ranch - Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Ah, it feels so good to hear this one again...)
"...always working so hard...let me swap a few pokemon around at the PC real quick. Have a few that I want to show ya...and maybe Max might like to see some of them too..."
The good ol' PC...Nathan's never actually used the ranch's before. Never had a need to before now. His dad used it frequently though, and his mom still does to this day. His mom probably wouldn't comment on it, but as Nathan swaps around his party, it probably looks a lot like how his dad used to fiddle with the machine...right down to the kick to get the PC working again when the darn thing wouldn't boot up properly.
It's a fairly old PC, but it gets the job done.Â
Nathan swaps Porygon-Z, Pulse, and Grid for Swiftfire, Yule, and Orthros.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Inside the house, Nathan and Kirlia are definitely enjoying some of Marta's Lemonade. Swiftfire's sticking her head through the open kitchen window. Yule's inside (but sticking fairly close to the window). Orthros is next to Nathan at the table, and Nathan's holding Forthright again.
Nathan talks about Swiftfire evolving, about how he thinks Yule might be a good match for Swiftfire (quietly so the horse won't hear, of course), how Orthros might be scary at first, but is just the sweetest lil' thing if you get to know him (he instantly likes Marta since Nathan's so comfortable around her), and also about how he found the Castform egg rapidly floating down a creek on route 10, how it hatched only a day or two ago...and how he hoped Forthright would be as strong a Sunny Day user as her namesake...
There's still more Nathan will probably say, but let's start with seeing how she reacts to the various members of Nathan's party.

"Well I have no idea, I'm just a clerk. I can give you the number of our supplier in Stair City, but I don't really think they will know just how to do it either. Science honestly kinda sucks at making Held Items."
She doesn't seem to sense the power you sense, either.
Marta is a hardy lady and she doesn't have any problem with Orthros despite his grotesque appearance. The ranch has used herding dogs in the past, too.
"Yule seems like a very cute Goat Pokemon. But he'll need to be very careful in courting a Fire type, especially one who ran away from home originally. It seems like so long ago! But it was only a month or two."
"A Castform is a very useful party member!" She makes chuckling noises to him, but knows better than to try to touch him. "I feel so much safer knowing my boy is in your care." Castform chuckles back at her.

"Yeah, I warned him about her...temper. Â He's taking it slow, though I don't think he's very scared of getting burned..."
"...mom, Forthright only JUST hatched...she still only knows Tackle..."
...
"There's...one other pokemon I have that I'd like you to meet.  Well, two, actually...but...you have to promise me to keep what I'm about to say secret, no matter what, okay?"
"You know we ranchers are a tight-lipped bunch. Heck, there were probably only 50 people in all of Creshire who knew about Stable Z until now. I will keep it a secret."

Nathan goes to the PC again and swaps Orthros for Calam. Â The dog didn't seem to mind, thankfully.
Calam doesn't waste any time getting outside of his Ultra Ball.  "This is Calam, mom.  He's the absol that came to find me and Kirlia during the Running."
Calam nods respectfully. Â Marta's someone he definitely recognizes. Â Though he does cast a sideways glance at Nathan...was he sure this was a good idea?
