It is now Day 44.
The first matches of the Little Cup begin today at 5pm, so you are supposed to register your team this morning and be assigned a slot!
Mt. Sentry has been busy in the night, gathering many clouds. This leaves the rest of the area quite clear!
Weird grinding noises are coming from the Gym.
Director North is having a conversation with a loud, flamboyant voice in his office when Ventus (and Shiva?) arrive there.
Heart wakes up sooner because he sleep soon past night. After the failed dinner he simple sleep. When he wakes up he looks in the mirror. "Hmm...you dont look so good." Then Heart take a bath and change cloths. "Perhaps I should join in that little Cup I guess. The limitation of Pokemon is kind lame, but interesting in the same time." Heart then make a few changes in his team and head to the Register in the Little Cup. Since the path is clear Heart decided to go to Mt. Sentry! He of course ask the nurse to give a message to his friends:
"Hey people. I gonna go to Mt. Sentry to train a bit with Tynamo. I see you all in the Little Cup. I have changed my mind Shiva. You gonna have a rival there :3 Assigh: Heart. PS: I prepare some leftlovers for you, Ventus and Valder in my room " Heart then give the message to the Nurse Joy to give them and go do his things!
Action: Regist Pokemon in the Little Cup: Koa, Viktor, Clauncher, Aron, Tynamo and Mudkip. Also from there head to Mt. Sentry to train Tynamo.
"Thank you for registering." She hands back your shiny trainer card.
You walk to Mt. Sentry. Within the entrance you randomly chose, there's a cavern called 'The Mudroom.' It's more touristy than some parts of Mt. Sentry. In this initial cavern, a team of Sentret keep watch over the tunnels leading out. There are some plaques labeling important parts of the tunnels and cavern.
'Crystal Pillar - this pillar is formed from Boldore remains that have been cemented together over time. It spans the Mudroom, floor to ceiling. Striking it with metal causes a beautiful chime to ring out.'
'Worn Stone - Generations of trainer have rubbed this stone for good luck before important battles. It is said the stone used to be rough and mildly painful to rub. Now it is smooth and pleasant.'
'North: Cpt Bridge's Gem Mine, Fallen Arches, The Candelabra, Ruins Paths (Beware of Ghosts)'
'East: Bottomless Pit, Dark Shard, Spherestone'
'South: Botanville Passage, Clay Pits'
'West: Sentry Shrine, Magnetic Caverns, The Teeth'

When he go out both Tynamo and Koa was out of his pokeballs. He thanks her about thee Shiny Card. When he enter that cavern he take a time to think where to go. "I think we heading in the right direction. I would like to take my time and explore a little more the other parts of this caverns but lets head to West part. There we will walk the next step for you to evolve Tynamo." Tynamo balance excited about that.
Action: Head to West in the direction of the Magnetic Caverns!
You walk down passages which become progressively rougher and less labeled.
You come to the Teeth, a series of stalagmites, stalactites, and a Snorunt holding onto the ceiling, shivering. These Teeth guard a big cavern whose walls have been smoothed (due to 'causes unknown, whether natural or artificial'). On these smooth walls are a series of etchings.
You see that the lower etchings are dominated by tunneling Pokemon of Mt Sentry, such as Patrat and Sentret, all crammed together in a massive jumble and sometimes overlapping or tessellating. Something like this:
, but with Zubat and Furret and Diglett and Boldore. Above that are the mighty Onix who initially excavated all the most stable tunnels of the Mountain.Â
At eye level, you begin to see the rare and powerful Pokemon of the Great Divide. Ursaring, Machamp, and even the ancient Fossil Pokemon.
The ceiling, with its most ornate carvings, is reserved for Legendary Pokemon.Â
Four of them are labeled in Elder Unown.
At the apex of the ceiling are another two Pokemon. One is Mamoswine; that's not a Legendary Pokemon! Beside Mamoswine's head, in the place of honor in the room, is the djinn Landorus, watching over the Pokemon of the Divide.
Nathan's morning is normal enough.
...minus the giant snake that's currently following him around. And Kirlia hovering around him looking very confused and concerned simultaneously.
Well, better spend some time getting his party in order...hmmmm...who was he going to withdraw for use today? He spends a bit of time by the PC, trying to decide...
Nathan might have some stuff to talk to Shiva and/or Ventus about should they approach him, depending on what conversation topics come up, so he's gonna be hanging in the lobby of the Center to start with.
After that in her view indeed failed and to her personally by the end stressful dinner, Shiva was more than delighted as she finally found some of her peace (not before her mind has called her cowardly to leave there for a few more times though) and calm back while doozing off into a sleep full of dreams she cannot clearly remember anymore when waking up. She will remember that they were unpleasant and her around-ten-year younger self worrying at a hospital-bed, before a wave not unlike the wave being visible when Psyshock is used successfully fought off a big purple threat.
She was still cuddled up to Ventus, and she looked half agonized and half okay not being sure how she's doing when eventually waking up after he did and awoke her to share breakfast and head to the Shelter for work today. It'll likely be sometime before the time she has set alarm clock on cell and she'll be kinda tired still, but this will quickly fade away once having actually crawled out of bed to realize that it's a new day by now. An new chance...
I'll simply post what Shiva will do anyway this morning before indeed heading to the Shelter , these are somewhat timeless/essential. She and Ven arrive at the Shelter together at the same time then.
-------------------
While Ven was in bathroom or otherwise busy of some sort and Shiva has gotten up from bed and currently took at look outside of the window at the streets full of people in business attire rushing the street up and down - ah, some sort of a familiar view - she summoned Pancham from his Pokeball in a flash of white light! The panda yawned and cutely rubbed one of his sleepy eyes with a black paw, he looked up to his Master as if silently asking why she has awoken him so early. He was doing fine though, none of the bruises and sligthly ruffled fur from the yesterday's battle was visible anymore. Shiva greeted him good-morning by appreciantly and warmly patting his head and stroking through the fur on his cheek, before pointing to a printed-out sheet of paper that she has laid there before summoning her panda. Tapping it, she asked him to take a look at the drawn and faintly explained motion sequence on it, before reminding him of his fist practical battle experience yesterday. "I can tell you enjoyed showing the strength you already had the time your were hatching from that special egg, and it'd be lying if I'd deny that I wasn't caught and allured by that. Now, you'd be up to try something else in synchronicity with me? That's not...real battling, but instead much more graceful, all about inner strength."
On that paper Shiva is using as a reference was the motion sequence taken from Tai Chi, kinda like this one --->
Link to a gif-file. That's what she has been somewhat researching at a PC in Lobby before heading for dinner to Heart's dorm, oh. Practicing this motion sequence now before breakfast together with her fearless Pancham, Shiva will probably gain that 1 point in Brawl by the time she's doing her first battle in Little Cup. (I'm leaving it to
whether Ventus actually catches up on her doing this or desires not to comment. Only making his own thoughts if he catches up on it is alright too.) I hope Pancham enjoys this training-bonding with his Mum/Master, Iron!~ Is that 'explored' enough to reason an unexpected +1 point in that Speciality?
-------------------
Along the way to the Shelter, of course Shiva picked up that Little Cup will start today, wheee! At 5pm, should be doable since work at Shelter ends a little before that. She nudges Ventus beside her to catch his attention, looking up to him in a subtly eager smile. "Can you...possibly wait a few minutes for me to make my registration for it?" *taking a look at clock on cell, before facing him again* "We still have time, so... Oh, you are of course free to come with me for registering my team! I know you said you...won't take part, but this doesn't mean you are doomed to avoid it and everything having to do wih it, do you...?"
Whatever Ventus decided to do, Shiva was rather happy once it was her turn in line to hand the person on duty her Trainer Pass and a list of her participating Pokemon. (I have quite a pool of Pokemon to choose from, we'll register six Pokemon right away. Should I share which ones or keep it for myself for now?)
She also had a question once her registration is done. "Uhm... There is one more thing I'd like to ask, something I didn't found any info about. These battles... Single Elimination is clear, but I've been wondering about these battles are held in a Single or Double Battle. Is there a rule? Is it random? Can you help me on this please...?"
Pancham loves Tai-Chi! The martial styles you choose for him will be essential in his development!
"The matches are single battles, and you can use any two Pokemon from your team throughout the course of the match."

"This is...old Unow Language! It seems a bit rusty and ilegible but I can try translate something. I take some notes so I can tell the others that discovery." Heart then take his journal and scribe in the same way like the pictures. Perhaps Nathan could discover something about that since he know a little more about that. In the same time Heart try to translate a bit of the message.
(Roll Knowldge + Insight + Lore to see if I can capt something in this Old Unow Language?)
Without any training in Lore, Heart is unable to translate a single character.
