This happens before Ventus finds Shiva.
Murkrow hovers in the air about 30' ahead of you and speaks.
"My riddles I speak for myself alone, and for those who listen in wisdom grown."

And this happens right before Ventus and Shiva return.
Survival
(5)(5)(1)
The two of you see the red flame of a small campfire on the horizon, and you keep track of what direction it's in until you reach the group with access to a compass. Then you get a bearing on that fire, still visible on the very edge of sight and only when the mist clears, assuming you can trust your compass in here: 75 degrees, east by northeast. Could it be a trainer?
The Pokedex map says you want to go due east, somewhat along the course of the river. But that's as the crow flies (heh) because you aren't entirely sure what part of the road you're on, you only know the approximate stretch.
As everyone was talking about to them self's Larry would occasionally walk back and forth to the restroom to a chair as his stomach was still not happy with the toxins, after the 9th time Shiva returned with Vetus. Larry replied to Vetus "I'm used to cramped spaces, every year me and my friend Caleb would sit in the back of the bus for our yearly field trip to the rhyhorn ranch in Jackson and we would be joined by I guess his secret girl friend and her friends, it was always tight and awkward back there." Larry sat down in the back as Shiva and vetus watched the Pokemon as they laid under a blanket. Larry saw Shiva as if she saw some one die or something like that "hey Shiva what's with the look you look like you saw something die a horrific death?" Larry asked her as he held his kakuna in his lap

"Now that you mention it, yes I did. I was a bit distracted doing a check up on Shiva, since she was practically catatonic when I found her, so it must have slipped my mind. Thank you for reminding me, Nathan!" Ventus told him, before going over to the Miltank. With great care and not a little strain, he manage to get it inside the van beside Larry, before covering it up with the blanket. " I hope you don't mind cramped conditions, Larry, because this Pokémon needs the shelter and care. Me, Shiva and Plusle are going to ride with you in the back as well, since they are not doing so well too, and I need to keep watch over the Pokémon's condition.," Ventus said to the boy, before he went over to Shiva.
She looked very morose, like the life had gone out of her, and the feelings he got from her...
Ventus scowled at the painful abrasiveness of them. 'Just what did that crow do to make cause her this much despair?' he pondered, before getting a little closer to her. Then, very slowly, he gave her a very gentle hug, trying to leech some of the misery she was feeling at the moment. He knew that it was impossible to get take all of it, but he could try and take as much of her burden as he could. "Its ok, Shiva. I'm here for you, so if you need anything, it will be done," Ventus said soothingly, before motioning her to the back of the RV. Once she's ready to go, they'll get and Nathan will lead the way.
Yesterday was terrible, and Today was bad; Tomarrow, however, still hold hope for a great day.
...
"Ven... What... are you doing there?" These words weren't more than a whisper and were spoken while still in his hug. Seemed like somehow, he made it to bring her back... Not completely, but at least she got some of her senses back. She was inclinged to gently push him away from her, but she couldn't bring up the strenght and/or will to do so, so she just waited for him to let go of her and allowed him to direct her back into the safety of the RV.
Upon arrival there, first thing she needed was to catch up on breath. Not because the walk itself was exhausting or such, but all the latest emotions tired her out. It's been a while since she had so many different ones within not even a day... Now, this took a toll on her. But now, she was safe. Again. It's not hopeless... Someone came after you in the end. Someone called out for her... At first she didn't notice, but then the same young man who told her about the different Aspects of Fairy-Types and told her to get rid of the flowers came into her field of view...
And the exact same young man was now next to her. He looked...worried...terrified...was it because of her...? "Arceus... Damn... What the hell has happened..."
A few moments of remembering what has actually happened, she continued. Her voice was still low, but at least she got it back... "Ven... Thank you... That Murkrow... You saw it? It... led me to a strange place...
It spoke to me." In fact, what were its last words again...? 'It speaks for itself alone and those who listen'? Did that meant it was a wild one? That it was indeed just a wild Murkrow? Shiva was actually sure that it must have escaped from someone - or that someone placed it there in purpose... And there was something else, craved into the sand...
"It.. was so weird... Minun pursuited it, and I followed... it led us away from you... And there was something else..."
Just as Shiva was about to show them the sign Murkrow led her to (did it do that on purpose?), Larry asked her if she saw someone die a horrific death... Those words made her froze immediately.
"Wait... Where's Plusle? You told you'll to take care of it... Ven? Where is my Pokemon? ... He died off meanwhile, didn't he?! Arceus, damnit! I FAILED! Horribly! He must be so dissapointed of his Master... I should have not aqcuired him..."
Oh, great job, Larry. You brought her to tears again.
(Player's note, Shiva took a photo of the sign craved into the sand with her cell. It might be useful later.)

(Player's note, Shiva took a photo of the sign craved into the sand with her cell. It might be useful later.)
Larry saw her start to tear up "NO! plusle isn't dead get a hold of your self woman! plusle dieing is nothing compared to what I have been faced with over my life, I lost my father to a voltorb, I am under so much pressure from my mom uncle and cousin, and let me tell you something im related to May, the world renowned coordinator, the princess of Hoenn! You cry over a small pokemon you only had for a day now and I cry almost every time I hear the words dad, daddy, and father and every time I hear the words "why cant you be more like you cousin" My uncle tells me this when ever I fail to train Zorua for battles! I've been living a though live since I was 6! No father, no one telling me "good job" or "you did good" no I get "do it again" and "your not even trying!" I've watched my father die with my own eyes and you cry over a pokemon, those things killed my dad! Larry said as he started to tear up to "I miss you dad." Larry said in a quiet tone "I.. I shouldn't have been so rough on you Shiva you had a long and though day as it is, and I just made it worse." Larry said
Larry then said "with out pokemon I would have been broken forever, Zorua, May showing me her pokemon heh I even had a favorite one, it was the beautifly after seeing that butterfly I loved bug types so much and I still love them most notable beedrill. I wished I could go back to when I was 9 and May just finished competing in Johnto for her first year and came and visited me and my mom for the contest in tenno which she rocked, but those days are gone and now there is today and tomorrow will come with the future." Larry said as he sat there in the back talking to shiva
META: I didn't mean to make her cry! I was trying to accumulate a conversation
Shiva was just about to give him a nasty comment that she didn't asked for his life story... When she decided not to. No strenght for another argument now, neither there was any need for that.
So instead, she replied to Larry with a slightly weak "It's alright. It's fine", for his, her own and the party's sake, and dried some of her silent tears with her scarf as best as possible.
Meanwhile, Nathan is getting his bearings and getting ready to lead the group (hopefully) out of the swamp. With the river and cliff as a reference combined with the map, it shouldn't be too difficult, right? He's just waiting for the okay from the rest of the group to get started.
"__L a r r y.__ " Ventus intoned, suddenly losing his comforting tone of voice. He heard what the young boy said, and while it was a sad tale indeed, it gave him no right to belittle the fears of another. None at all. " Y o u____a r e ____t r e a d i n g ____ o n____t h i n_____g r o u n d,____s o____ I_____s u g g e s t ____y o u____a p o l o g i z e____t o____h e r , ____a n d_____t h e n_____k e e p______q u i e t. __U n d e r s t o o d ?__ " Ventus growled out, not at all impressed with Larry's candid story to her. Doesn't the boy know that the last thing you do in regards to a person in shock is further destabilize their shaky emotional state?!
The researcher then turned towards his friend, and, in a much more pleasant and calm voice, told her "Its as Larry rudely said, my friend. I managed to treat the worst of Plusle's wounds, enough so that it can expect to make a full recovery in time. We still need to get it and the Miltank to a Pokémon Center for a full evaluation, so let us get moving." As he was leading Shiva into the van (and glaring at Larry to keep his silence), he recalled that she also said that their was a 'talking Murkrow' and a strange symbol in the ground. He clearly recalled the later, as that what he found the fey lass staring at when he tracked her down, but the a talking crow?
Ventus eyebrow scrunched together in thought, not too surprised about the talking Murkrow. ' The species is known for mimicking human speech patterns, like Chantot and the Toucannon line, but I don't recall them being capable of salient conversation. Bah, another oddity of this cursed place; we need to depart for its presence immedianlty. For everyone's shake now...' the researcher though, before turning his attension towards his traumatized companion. "We can talk about the Murkrow later, when we all have gotten some rest, and are far, far away from this dismal setting," Ventus said, before sitting down and placing Shiva next to him.
He detached himself from her then, letting her go where she wishes to be. Still, he kept himself close by, just in case she needed his support again. They want to help everyone in need, and who is in more need right now but his depressed friend right now? Opening a window near him, he hollered to Nathan "Everyone is in the van, we are ready to leave when you are! Light our path, and lead the way!"
With the signal to go given, Nathan, Swiftfire, and Ralts begin heading in the rough direction of Ginger Town, the RV close behind atop the Mr. Mime's Barriers. The trio keeps a lookout for anything that might intend to attack the group, relying on Swiftfire's flames to light the way instead of Staryu's Illuminate to minimize the number of wild pokemon present, and Nathan is prepared to issue a warning should he spot something.

Larry sighed "im not one for emotional support Vetus. But I do know how to apologize." Larry said as he walked up to Shiva "Shiva im sorry for thowing my life story at you and making you feel worse its my fault this all happened, if I didn't go out of the RV plusle wouldn't have been hit with a koffing and put in this state, and im sorry for yelling at you im sadly influenced by my uncle when he is near me and this trip has been showing the worst of me lately." Larry said as he pulled out some home made pokemon food "feed plusle this it will make it feel better" and Larry goes and sit down right off the side of Vetus "I did it." Larry said a bit mad while he was still sad "Vetus the words I said seem good but I feel a feeling of anger within." Larry said as he tried to keep him self from yelling at everyone
"...You know how to recant your mistakes at least, Larry. As far as I can detect from you, your anger stems from my dressing you down, and your inability to positively contribute to a horrible situation," Ventus tensely said, quite unhappy with Larry's recent actions, but mindful of the boy's apology. They not only had the most dismal luck imaginable, but they also rather lacking in the social department. They were just a child, though, one that is under intense pressure to succeed at that, so he should try to be gentle with the freckles boy.
"My advice, for now, is to keep quiet for now, and think over what you said to Shiva. While your attempt to calm her down is comprehendible, sometimes its better to speak some small comforting words than a deluge of well meaning ones. Its also never a good idea to forcibly tell someone to calm down, and trying wield your own background to bludgeon them into a better mood is just...ill advised," he said, biting back what he really wanted to say to the boy at the end. Calling the kid moronic to his face would hardly make his advice absorptive, that was for sure.
"I have my fair share of...mishaps that happened in my life, but I mostly keep my past to myself. If someone wants to get to know me, or if its required to explain some of my more...extravagant actions, I'll bring it up. Otherwise, my past stays there, and I try not to let it interfere with my life or relationship overly. You suffered in your past, but there is no need for it define your entire existence. After all, life is what you make of it," Ventus replied, before falling silent. He looks quite tired, but he still gets up to go and check on Plusle and Miltank. They need constant attention, just in case.
