He sit in the table and send a quick message to him telling he already have sell the Garnet and he is ready to make the trade. Before he forgot, Heart make a quick change in his team and put Scyther in the party to finally trade with Ventus. "Time for you to join with a new parthneer. I just hope you can be well with Ventus better you was with me."
Conveniently Ventus received the text while he was halfway in transit to the Pokémon Center, turning his disgruntled façade into a much more cheerful one as he picked up the pace to meet up with the collector poste haste, with Malphena merrily zooming along behind/beside him now that her master was in a better mood! As he entered the lobby his keen eyes were quick to spot Heart, and he was just as swift to walk over to greet them with a cheerfully energetic smile.
"Heart my friend, judging by the excitement I detect you're eager as I am to begin the trade! First, let me briefly swap out one of my Pokémon (Malphena) and retrieve the Delta Onix from the PC, then you hand me the Poke before we head over to the trade machine an conduct the exchange! Hopefully you'll become fast friends with the strange serpent, and I promise Scyther will be well taken care of and grow into a exemplar Scyther someday!"
The researcher the does as he says and swaps out his banshee for the Delta lizard, reunites with Heart and collects his $3000 Poke as agreed upon, before the two of them head over to the trade machine to transfer ownership of Delta Onix to Heart, and obtain Scyther! (Feel free to play out this scene if you like, Spiritmon!)
Afterwards, he makes a beeline back to the PC to transfer Scyther into it in exchange for Malphena back (who he subsequently releases back to his side to snuggle against it)! He felt more than a little bad and guilty for condemning the mantis creature to the PC for the unforseable future, but he other members of his family that need his care/attention/Poke more, so it had to be done. Someday you'll get your chance to shine.....
Ven then went to the Gym to finish up training his mercenary Pokemon for the day (just saying this to make sure wibbly wobbly time line mess doesn't happen!), before he return to the lobby, picked a table to lounge at, and recorded/sent a simple voice message to Valder to come to the East Pokémon Center when they were finished with their business for the day so that they could take back their partners from his stewardship and return Haziel. He then waits patiently in the lobby, taking out his research notes and thumbing through them to review them yet again while he waited. When his mischevious spirit hovered over his shoulder to get a look at what he was reading with a cutely curious expression, the empath had to try very hard not to chuckle before he started to quietly reading it aloud for her shake, starting with one of his very first passages he penned about the Pokémon in Cheshire. As it turns out, it concerned none other than the Apsis and their Ekans sibling/partner, with it reading as thus:
"Pokémon Species: Ekans
Typing, Diet, Wieght, Size, Height etc..
Encountered: Outskirt of Trillum EDIT: Grasslands and Marshlands/Swamps, based on other regional data on species and observations of how my own captive Ekans responded and behaved in these locations.
Baseline/Non Socialized Behavior: Aggressive, hostile, predatory, sneaky, defiant/willful, onry
Captive/Socialized Behavior: See Entry 'Apsis'
Notes: Two Ekans were first encountered coordinating a hunt against a trainer and his Pokemon, presenting evidence suggesting that the species here are not exclusively solidary predators as they are recorded in other regions, but more field research and cross refrencing Cheshire's own records on the species will have to be done before the validity of this claim can be fully accessed. Both practiced ambush tactics, but also distraction and luring, with one confronting its prey head on with debilitating moves like Glare and Poison Sting, while the other sneaks up and helps finish off target or subdue it with Wrap. Torn articles of clothing around the den indicate that the species has adapted to preying on humans, though to what extent is unknown. Local species also appears more aggressive and Disobedient than what has been display in other regions, but more field research and cross refrencing etc.. etc. etc.
Bonding/Socialization Potential + Techniques: Limited EDIT: If feed wild Pokémon regularly and safely facilitate, condon, and accept its wild predatory nature/behavior, they will quickly both with a trainer; Respect and praise for said behavior aids with bonding too, as does not being fearful of them; likes being petted and scratch, especially along the eye ridges.
ETC, ETC...."
Order: Conduct the Trade Deal with Heart, and wait for Valder to return (prefarbly at your discersion, Iron), and then head out to Stair City to hunt down a Sandstorm TM! While he's waiting, he'll pass the time by reading aloud his research to Malphena. Its a way to bond for the both of them, and it gives a peek at what his notes are like in some areas!
