Kogeki was also looking at Delphox, but his own look was more of defiance, annoyance and perhaps a bit of anger. He cling his paw like a punch.

But he can't do anything. And attack would be foolish. He doesn't want to make things difficult to Kee or anyone else.

That Delphox could beat Kogeki. He is not even close to the same level of power of that psychic fox.

Kogeki look at Delphox again and told her. "I don't need to prove my worth to no one. Nor I desire in do it. But if it is the only way in joining your guild, fine. I do your way."

"About responsibility...I bound to my ninja code, so yeah. No problem in my part either. I also may be young, but even a Magikarp can become a Mighty and powerful Gyarados. Never underestimate a Ghost Riolu Guildmaster. It might surprise you."

Kogeki turn his back to Delphox already interested in join the others to prepare thing. He stop for a instant and tell the Guilmaster one last thing. "I didn't told you. My name is Kogeki. Kogeki Kurayami the Delta Riolu. I have my own goals in mind. And one of them is become the strongest Delta Lucario. You will see how strong a ninja can be Guilmaster."

Kogeki give the Guilmaster a bow of respect and then he follows Kee.

"Needs to have water, huh?  Well, there's not much land around the ocean readily available.  The Guild's probably the closest you'll get to living by the ocean unless you happen to have a ton of cash on hand and time to kill.  Then you could maybe convince Machamp to build a custom place somewhere.  They manage the properties and construction around here."

The male East Sea Gastrodon looks at Karen curiously.  "And how about you, young lady?  You've not said a peep so far."

Karen fidgets a little, still a little nervous earlier.  "...um...well, honestly, I don't have any major preferences either way...just so long as there aren't any...um..."

"Any what, sweetheart?"

"...um...I'm not sure..."

Karen changes the topic abruptly, asking the blue sea slug a question.  "...so, if she's an informant, what do you do?"

"Oh, me?  Why, I open Treasure Boxes for a small fee!  If ya ever come across a locked box in a Mystery Dungeon that ya just can't pop open, I can probably persuade it to give up its contents for ya!  Trust me, it's easier than it looks."  He winks.

Delphox is unfazed by Kogeki's defiance.  "Mind your manners, or you will see just how wily a fox can be, dog."

Delphox waves a hand, motioning towards the door.  "You are dismissed.  Come talk to me again once you have completed Floette's trial assignments."

Floette quickly ushers Kogeki and Kee out of the room, then lets out a breath she'd been holding.

"...for a moment there, I thought the Guildmaster was going to wallop you.  Good thing she didn't!  Just, uh...take her advice in the future.  She's basically the law in this building.  Well, if you want to go find your friends, I'll start checking the available jobs and find some that I think you guys can complete!"

Floette leads Kogeki and Kee back to the lobby, then goes over to the notice board and pulls a few papers off of it, seemingly knowing exactly how it's organized.  She takes the papers to her counter and starts analyzing them carefully.

Once the matter of how and the cost of setting up her group's future home came up, Pyra patiently bidded her time while Karen and Dax spoke themselves before to ask a question herself. Before that, though, she gives her fellow lady a curious look at her sudden segway, tilting their own head at her questioningly for a moment until she refocused her attention back onto the sea slugs.

"Hmm....okay and very well. Can one or the two of you direct us to these builder Machamps, then, my briney and boneless creatures damp? Or could you give us an estimate, a guess of the cost of our home building project, and if we could afford it help summon the burly builders for us to negotiate with them later, yes?

"Oh, and what are these 'Treasure Boxes' you speak of? Heard of one or more I have not before, no, but anything with that have value in its in its name must be good, yes!"

"Unfortunately, I wouldn't be able to give you an exact estimate other than purchasing property around here is expensive!  You'll have to talk to Machamp if you want exact numbers.  You can usually find him at a large building just outside of town.  Can't miss it since it has his face plastered on a sign out front."

"Treasure Boxes are just that: locked boxes full of treasure!  Not much more to explain than that which I haven't already said, really.  Sometimes they're dropped by wild pokemon in Mystery Dungeons."

"Hmm....alrighty and okay then! Many and big thanks for your information and time, Gastrodon guides, and may the rest of your day be just fine! Come Karen, Dax, let us reunite with our companions, share with them the news and learn what they have too!"

If neither Dax or Karen have anything else to catechize the mismatched invertabrates, Pyra would give the two a happy wave farewell and backtrack to the lobby. Regardless of whether her group or Kee's comes back first, the lil' demoness would immediately crowd close to the furry punk star with an inquisitive and eager grin.

"Well, well, what results of your meeting with the Leader of this domain you bring? Have you achieved one of your dreams, of being a part of this Guild as one of its Adventurer's teams? Tell me, oh tell me please~!"

Dax frowned. He did have a lot of money on him, but it would be unwise to blow it all on a special house. Maybe that nice beachside house could wait. It wouldn't hurt to get an estimate though. He decided he'd speak to the Machamp outside.

"Thanks for the help, love. I'll speak to Machamp when we leave the building." Dax said to the pink one. "And I'll come right to you when we get some treasure. Count on that."

Dax forlornly looked at the water, and decided that his swim could wait. Kee and Kogeki might have gone to see the guildmaster already. He decided to get back there quickly so he could catch the guildmaster. He decided to tell Pyra and Karen.

"Hey, I'll uh, need to hurry back cos I want to meet that guildmaster. Is it cool if I run ahead of you?"

Pyra gave a little blank faced blinking to the blue drake's request initially, not expecting him to break off from her so soon (and secretly a little disappointed by that, truth be told - she wanted to become closer to him as a friend, even if it was going to be difficult) , but she quickly gave him a small but bright smile and a bob of her head.

"Sure and verily, Dax! Mayhaps you can ask and request of them good spots to build our future home too, yes, or recommendations for one being built for Kee's and yours dream and aspired Adventurer's Team? Ah, and tell me more about the Guildmaster later, oh pretty please~!"

She'd wave him good-bye regardless of his response and then escort Karen back to the lobby, side by side with her front and center, like she originally planned. Now that there were just the two of them, though.....

"*Looks back to Karen, and starts whispering* .....Karen dear, do you not mind, perhaps, telling me what has been wearing and worrying away at your cheer? You haven't said a thing about it, so I thought you didn't want it made too obvious, but now that its just us two, and nobody here paying us much hear.....could you trust us with what has be so very vexing to your vigor and vim?"

RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - no one - 05-11-2020

Dax runs back to the main area of the Guild Base, before scanning the room for the area to the guildmaster's room. He finds it, and attempts to enter.

RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Spiritmon - 05-11-2020

Kogeki give the others a quick resume of the events. "Well, urns out the Guildmaster is a Delphox. And we can't join the with only two of us. We need at least three people to join with us to be accepted into the guild."

Kogeki show a exasperating sight. "...Honestly, it is to much unfair in my opinion but that's the rules I guess. He also talking to another team. A Gallade, a Roserade and a Rhyperior. Among the people in the room, Gallade and Delphox trigger my Antecipation. Those guys is powerful. Really really powerful."
