Dax decides to not take any branches, but he does grab a couple of the stones. Could be useful for distractions at least.

Kogeki take a few stones. Such as Dax mentioned, could be useful later.

Ready to continue the path when you are @Dragonstrike. I really want to finish this Dungeon as quick as possible and not delay anymore our journey.

RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Dragonstrike - 06-18-2020

(just as an FYI, Spirit, I don't need constant reminders about the game when I've been posting slowly.  I've not forgotten about my off and on passion project, don't you worry about that.)

-----------------------------------------

There's a total of 4 of those stones scattered around the area that you can split among yourselves.  They're small enough that they can be grouped together and take up only a single inventory slot if someone has multiples of them.

New Item obtained!
Gravelerock: Rolls 1 D6 of damage against a target it is thrown at.  Accuracy roll is Dexterity + Fight + Throw. Can be used to hit targets at a distance if your throwing arm is good (the more successes you get on the accuracy check, the farther you can throw the item).

-------------------------------------------

The path to the east is still a dead end.  The tree that fell was in the middle of the tile, at the fork.

So Pyra leads the group back to where they started, then carefully to the path to the east, where Kee thinks Stufful might be wandering.

It's there that the group finds yet another dead end, but they also see a small, pink bear pokemon wandering around, looking very lost.

"....was it not this way?  I thought I came from this direction..."

They turn around, seemingly resigned to having to backtrack the way they came, and that's when they spot the 5 pokemon approaching them!

Stufful seems to be surprised at first, but that expression soon turns hopeful as they run up to the group of strangers.

!

"Oh my goodness, did the guild send you?!  Please tell me they did..."

(Can't help myself Dragon. There is long events of hiatus in this campaigh that is problematic. And it didnt happen once but a few times already. Both here and Mount Coronet. So sorry if I act a bit paranoid if this campaigh took more periods of time of resolution)

Kogeki put the Gravelrock in his adventure bag. Might come in hand in the future.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Kogeki follow the group, with all his senses alert to any danger. His scarf perfect wrap up in his neck and swing by the wind somtimes. Then they finally found Stufful. As much Kogeki is not the best pacifist or person to calm others, he did his best to let Stufful calmdown. "Don't worry Stufful. We are adventures and we been send by the guild to rescue you. I Kogeki. Kogeki Kurayami. A Delta Riolu. You are in safe hands now my friend."

Kogeki then turn his head towards Pyra, waiting orders to go along. Even when he was a human, Kogeki was always a ninja who try to follow orders like a soldier, and he wait to Pyra next plan. He might share some ideas and thoughts of his, but right now he need to aid the group in what is necessary.

Alright, since everyone but Karen wants a Gravelrock, then each of the group gets exactly 1! Nice and convenient, that is!

Initially Pyra is equally surprised to see what seemed to be Stufful all by its lonesome, having half expected that Team Gallop would've found them by now and whisked them away with the huge lead they got on them by refusing to help her search for her fae friend, but soon her ever present smile grew wider and more viberant as she quickly hopped over to happily introduce herself and the group! Her period of being taken aback allowed Kogeki to beat her to the Fire Punch, though, but she didn't mind that at all, skipping to his side and offering him a happy and thankful nod for his expediency before getting her chance to greet the fluffy bear cub.

"Indeed and verily, what my companion says is most true! We are all here to rescue you, delivering yourself away from this Dungeon's rocky and confusing maze, yes! Curious and wondering I am, though, as how you found yourself so lost in distress, and what means did you use to signal to the Guild your distress? *Claps hands* Oh, and my name is Pyra the Devimp, She Whose Domain is Flames in Darkness! What's yours, pink and clothy bearling?"

Regardless of if they'd answer her satisfactory or not, the lil' fiendess would then present her Badge as proof that, yes, her team and herself were indeed the Adventurers they were praying for. A little bit of it to back up her words never hurt, as she most recently learned from her interaction with a most infuriating pony.....

(I don't know if Pyra was around to hear how Explorer/Adventurer Badges work when they were handed out [If there was an explanation], so I'm just going to have her show them the Badge and see if that does anything with Stufful. If not, I suppose the bear will be escorted with the group to the Dungeon's exit, wherever it is!)

Dax picked up a Gravelerock and moved on with the group.

Once they saw the Stufful, Dax let Pyra and Kogeki do the talking as he just waited in the back. Now that they have him, they could all go.

Same with Ziggy Kee, no need to overwhelm that dear and cute Stufful. He opts to give the young one a friendly two-claw-salute and a toothy smile, shows them his own AdVenTUrErs BaDGe!!1 and then goes to sniff the ground with mighty curiosity. Hummm.... There should be NO scent of fire, electricity, and mud around here, or is there? If there is however, Kee's mind will suffer a blue screen of death out of confusion.

"Oh, uh...hehe...it's, uh...rather easy to get lost in Mystery Dungeons when you're not looking for them...hahahaha...thank you for coming to rescue me, though!  I'm Stufful!  It's nice to meet you!  And, uh...I'm not really sure how my message got to the Guild, honestly.  I just know that leaving a request for help somewhere in a Mystery Dungeon tends to...send it to other places, I guess.  Not really sure how it works..."

Yes, there was an explanation about the badges, and yes, Pyra was around when Floette handed them to the group.  The badge starts to glow very brightly when Pyra holds it up to show Stufful.

Stufful waves, seemingly unsurprised by what's happening.  "I'll see you back at the Guild, okay?  Thanks again!"

And then a bright column of light envelopes Stufful, and the bear pokemon vanishes!

Stufful was successfully rescued!

Pyra notices that the Adventure Badge is still faintly glowing, and has a strange feeling that everyone could use it to escape from the dungeon immediately in the same way that Stufful just did.

It's then that everyone hears hoofbeats as several pokemon run into the area, and Kee does indeed pick up those scents he's been looking for.

"Awwww, were we too late again?"

"Seems like we were, Mudbray..."

"...well, color me impressed.  I didn't think they would find Stufful before we did."

...and Ponyta, Blitzle, and Mudbray of Team Gallop arrive on the scene, their badges glowing faintly as well!

Would the group like to escape from the dungeon now, or continue adventuring?
Jobs Remaining: 1

'Definitely continue' is what Kee would choose without thinking twice. Yes he HAS an Apple with him that he can just give up to complete the remaining job, but he kinda wants to further explore this MysteryDungeon, it's starting to be really fun!

(Metawise, I kinda wish to continue to possibly collect more loot and XP while searching for an Apple Zubat requested.)
