Dax was a little scared, and a little in awe of the vulpine leader. She exuded authority and power, and commanded respect just by being present. He didn't want to get on the wrong side of her, and he knew that gaining her respect would definitely take him places.

Ah-ha! It turned out that teams couldn't share rewards. That would probably be the reason for Ponyta's refusal of help. At least it wasn't because Ponyta was just an ass. Dax decided to reply to his new boss and try to make a good impression in the process.

"Thank you, ma'am. We'll do our best. I have a question, but not related to the guild itself, per se. I've been looking for my friend ever since I got here, and he doesn't seem to be anywhere near here. He looks kinda like that massive dog fella outside, but he's a lighter blue colour, a lot smaller and his breath mists a little when he speaks. Would you happen to know where he might be, if not in Sahra Town? And one more question if it's alright. I heard something about being allowed to recruit Pokemon we meet in mystery dungeons. Are we allowed to do so, or is it just a rumour? More allies would definitely help in our line of work."

Kogeki simple cross his arms, and look at Delphox. "No problem. It was not a big deal."

He doesn't have anything to comment about the politics about the group. Just because some members of the Guild act the way he act, doesn't mean he also have to act in the same way. And honestly? He doesn't care about the "prestigious" about the guild or something like that.

"I do have questions. By chance is there info about two Water Pokemon, a Greninja and a Daikatuna. And maybe 2 ghosts? A Grassy Ground turtle and a bug Ninja?"

RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Dragonstrike - 07-09-2020

Delphox crosses her arms as she listens to everyone's questions and responds to each of them.

"Oh?  You're having a house constructed?  Well, you're welcome to stay there instead of at the guild once it's finished if so desired, so long as you continue to report for duty here when required.  You need not worry about paying tribute, for we already take a cut of the earnings before you receive your rewards for jobs.  This Guild has many resources that are free for members to use, but they come with an obligation to do work through the guild and respond to summons from myself or others in command.  As for that chain of command command, I am obviously the head of this Guild.  My second in command is Cacturne, and his word is generally law around here unless I say otherwise.  He is currently away on business, but you should talk to him first if you have any issues."

"I do not handle incoming job requests.  That is Floette's duty.  Ask her for the details later if you need to file a request.  Just be warned that any member of the guild can complete job requests.  She is also better suited to tell you about recruitment than I, but yes, some Teams do convince wild pokemon to join their ranks.  Many of our members started out as wild pokemon, in fact."

Delphox raises an eyebrow when Daxter and Kogeki ask if she's seen specific pokemon.

"I cannot say that I have seen those pokemon around the Guild, I can assure you of that.  I know of a Greninja that works for the Expedition Society on the Water Continent, but I doubt they're who you're looking for."

RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Spiritmon - 07-09-2020

"Hmm...I see. Thanks for the information anyway."

"And about this Guild, is there any room we can train and sharp our skills? And maybe do some friendly match with other members in this guild?"

RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - no one - 07-10-2020

"Ah. No worries ma'am. I'm sure I'll find my friend eventually. Is there any place I can get food here? I'm famished. It's been a long day and my arm's still throbbing a little because a Trapinch tried to take a bite out of it. Would I have to pay for the food?"

Hehehe... Ziggy Kee's basically brimming with joy and pride as he follows dear Floette to the Guildmaster, it's almost tangible in the air around him. He's got a big toothy smile on his face that he can barely even hide, and his fine fur stands a little its edge out of sheer excitement. He SO can't wait to see that particular lady of a Delphox again, hopefully NOW they have convinced her enough that they're suitable to be members of her Guild!~

...And they indeed did so, Kee's OvErJOyEd to be accepted as a new member!!1!11! Ahahahaha, he feels his dream and goal to become a valid and respected Expl- sorry, ADVENTURER! a lot closer already ( ÒωÓ)و☆. It's like 'The first obstacle has been cleared, now work hard to earn the respect of those around you as well your Guildmaster!' He bows deeply towards said new Guildmaster, being obviously very grateful and happy of her accepting him as a new member, but keeping his MAXIMUM JOY AND DELIGHT in control in front of her. "A good d'cision, and one I shall prove t'wards you was well made, Guildmaster. I, Kee, owe ya my genuine thanks, 'nd shall promise to work hard 'n tenaciously to become a valuable member of yar prestigious Guild."

Delphox' words about Teams usually being unwilling to share rewards gotten from completed jobs or to team up with others is met by Ziggy Kee with... neither concern nor anger, not sadness either, but instead with quite the amount of curiosity and interest...? He frowns a little at first given they're yet total beginners, BUT he quickly comes to understand that this is likely the best way to learn and grow. He wags his bushy tail in eager about this, now being super-curious and excited about seeing how much HE can accomplish alone...! Oh, if being honest to himself, he neither would want to share precious treasures and valuable rewards with other teams. "I see, Guildmaster. 'N that case, I shall train to b'come an Adventurer who's capable of doin' his own thing - I likewise am eager 'n interested 'bout exploring my own limits, 's well to see how much I can 'ccomplish with one or max. two partners."

Quote:"Any questions?"

Speaking about 'partners', he coughs. "That DOES 'rise a question of mah side, Guildmaster, 'llow me to bring it forward: A blue feline, skatterin' shiny sparkles 'n fairy dust from their ribbons, I doubt ya have seen a Pokemon like this by chance, haven't ya?" He keeps this general and non-chalant on purpose, somehow not wanting to obviously stating that he's searching for his dearest Octavia.:*☆. Kee KNOWS that she must be some where in this world, but he feels it's likely too early yet for a reuninon... He himself just arrived in this world yesterday! Yet however, it doesn't hurt to ask Dephox, just in case.

There's more. "I take now bein' OFFICIAL MEMBERS of yar prestigious Guild, we're 'llowed to keep this Badge 's well as this Satchel dear Floette provided us for our missions? I shall treat both with care 'n wear the Badge with pride 'n honour." He bows once more.

There's MORE! "Yar words of 'Many of the pokemon here are very proud of what they're capable of doing on their own' leave quite tha impression on me... A mixed impression, yet the good vibes prevail. Do tell meh, Guildmaster, do ya possibly know or is there a way at yar Guild to strengthen one's instincts, to hone the skills 'n talent of tha inner Pokemon within everyone of us, to get used to 'n make use of one's dormant power?~" (Aka mechanically, to work towards more Instinct besides acting like a Pokemon)

RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Lord Windos - 07-10-2020

The fiery demoness was satisfied with the answers Delphox had shared, but hearing her friend's own inquiries managed to spark off a few more in her brainpan.

"Superior Delphox, are we forced to be kind, polite, or agreeable to the other Teams here, or can we choose to ignore and be aloof if we would speak with one another?" That question was mainly concerned about Team Gallop, as she really didn't want to be remotely positive with them beyond passively tolerating their existence, but if she was required to then she might as well know now so she'd not cause any problems.

"Why did you become an Adventurer yourself? Did you start this Guild yourself? Is being an Adventurer a good life, in your opinion?" Now that she feels like one wrong move will result in her getting torched or her and the Team thrown out, Pyra's curiosity flares up once more and now she wants to know a little more about her new Boss' and her opinions on the lifestyle they've signed up for.

"Does you Guild have Crafting material available? Does it have any Crafting,,,,,specialists? I desire to learn how to do so myself, so any direction you can give me will be helpful."

"Oh, and does the Guild know any healers or mender, or has one themselves?" It was at this point she remembers her injury and her promise to get it treated ASAP, and thus wants to see if Delphox can help point her in the right direction to do so.

RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Dragonstrike - 07-10-2020

"No, I have not seen any pokemon that match that description, either.  If you can anticipate what my answer will be, then I'd rather you not waste my time with the question."

"As a Guild, offering training is part of our job, and there is a local dojo where you can practice your skills.  Learning is not a quick process, though, particularly since you all look to be rather young.  There is no good substitute for field experience, either.  Taking on jobs is how you will learn the most quickly.  The badges and bags that Floette provided you with are yours to keep so long as you are members of this organization.  The guild also provides one meal each day for members."

Delphox gives Pyra another narrow eyed stare when she asks a second round of questions.

"Fighting within the guild's walls is strictly prohibited.  You would do well to remember that."

"I have no time for personal questions."

"Anything related to crafting, you'd be better off talking with Marcus about.  He's the local expert on the trade.  I'll have Floette summon for the local healer once we are done here as well."

"Any further questions, ask Floette later.  I'm afraid I am out of time for entertaining you, and must get to other business.  You are dismissed.  Floette, a moment, please?"

The little fairy snaps to attention as soon as Delphox mentions her name.

"Hm?  Oh, absolutely!  Alright everyone, shoo!  I'll be with you again in a little bit.  In the meantime, one of the hallways in the lobby leads to the dormitories and the dining room.  Wait for me there.  I'm sure you can find it on your own!"

Floette quickly ushers everyone else out of the guildmaster's chamber, and the large door shuts in front of them, leaving the hallway outside silent except for the crackling of torches on the walls.

Karen blinks a few times as the door is shut in the group's faces, somewhat awestruck by the atmosphere of recent events.  "...well, the guildmaster is certainly...authoritative.  I wasn't really certain if I should have tried to say something..."

RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Spiritmon - 07-10-2020

Kogeki simple shake his shoulders. "More like scary and tyranical. No wonder there is no such thing as sense of partheship within this guild. I know a health competition is good sometimes, but no member of the Guild can help each other and this kind of thing is...supported?"

"I may not remember many things in my life, but there is one thing I know for sure: I think we should get our things and leave this place when get the chance. I dont feel comfortable where even the Guildmaster is like that way. I prefer freedom and team work even among members of other teams. I dont want to stay on a place where everyone look at each other as enemies. Included those Team Gallop."

"This place smell like evil to me."

RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Dragonstrike - 07-10-2020

Karen: "...that's not the impression I got...as far as I could tell, I think she meant that teams generally don't help each other because there isn't enough resources to go around, or something like that?  She didn't specifically say teams aren't allowed to help each other...I think..."

"I really don't think this place is 'evil' or anything like that. At least, it probably isn't...I mean, why would they have job boards where the local community can post requests if they were? That doesn't sound very evil."
