To her credit Pyra did calm down a bit when her spiritual friend agreed to her 'request' and his promise to try and patch things up with Braixen, but she was less than enthused at the obstinate rebuttals he paired with it, her stare turning unamused and authoritative.

".....Good and thank you, Kogeki. But...even though what you said true and correct, yes, it was to be expected too. Boss Delphox said her Teams and our fellow Guild members were most competitive, prideful, and self-centered, so we had ample preparation and opportunity to be ready to combat and endure it nicely-safely. Continuing to act in spite of that, to ignore their warning and not learning and adapting to it.....it is most worrying and troublesome behavior, Kogeki. Is your Pride and Wrath so important you put it above your and our well being and future prospects-relationships, now, here and beyond? If that is so, mayhaps it would be for us to leave the Guild, depart from it in order to best complete our goals without....stepping on others toes and creating not-needed problems for ourselves."

She pauses for a moment, looking up into the air and considering something else about Kogeki's statements, before she looked back to him with far softer eyes and a gentler tone.

".....My past actions, my conduct and discourse with Team Gallop, is no exception to what you and I say. Care not for them and still disdain them I do, for their selfish impudence and arrogance, yes, but I could have handled better their rejection and not made adversaries of them. Spared us needless conflict and part of Boss Delphox's lecture had I done so, believe I do now. But what has happened has happened, indeed, so all can be done by myself is reflect upon what I have learnt and become better-wiser for it. If that neccessi-quires me to be nice, kind, or polite to those undeserving of such graces, so it must be. Know and understand not much right now, about Pokemon and civilization and all their intricacies, but I do know-believe thus: life is change, survival, adversity, discovery, and experiences of all kinds, and all we must adapt and grow from them to become better and more. Do you understand me better now, my dear Kogeki?"

Presuming that he does on some level Pyra would then release him from her grasp, letting him go and giving him a bright and friendly smile.

"Good great! Let us feast and rest then! Tomorrow must be prepared for completely, and I too would like some respite after a long day, yes yes!"

Pyra doesn't have anything to say about Dax's own chastisement to the phantom brave (as it echoed much of what she'd already said), so if everyone is ready to move on to the next day that is fine with me!

RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Spiritmon - 09-27-2020

When Kogeki hear both Daxter words, and Pyra words Kogeki took a minute to listen...and then sighs.

"No...my pride and wrath is not more important than me or everyone sake. I don't like this place, or it's atmosphere, but rage about every aspect will not bring any good. To any of us all."

"It's...kinda ironic this situation. I talk with you how important is have your voice of opinion be hear and how you sometimes need to stand up for what you think. And now you teaching me how it is important to calm down to listen others."

"I promise to try be better...but you guys have to forgive me. I not going to stay much longer in this Guild. Tomorrow morning after I apologise to Braixen, I will do some research tomorrow. See if there others Guilds different of this one. Maybe in some close village or city. If you guys want to have a mission tomorrow, you could ask our new companions help..."

"If by chance there no other Guilds close here in this city, I will search in other places. When I sure about the information, I will tell the Guildmaster of my desire in depart of the Guild. Like you said Pyra, life is about to change, survival and adversity. Perhaps...my heart is not here in this Guild. But maybe in another place."

"...And yes...Let's finish our feast and get some rest. We have a long day tomorrow. Included me since I have research to do tomorrow."

"Just to clarify: I not going to immediately leave the Guild. Need to make sure there others options to find and check if those Guilds is better than this one. And if it is possible to go there. There others things to consider like our home build in this town."

Wanted to response more to the scene but don't feel like doing so and am tired, so I'll summarize Kee's point and mood to
-Ya can do what ya want, but me is good here at the Guild so me's here to stay *galarian-zigzagoon-shrug*-

Not much to do for him bar eagerly nomming on the peeled and chilled chestnuts, return to Team OS's quarters, cuddle up in his guitar bag (after having made some room) and write about the happenings in his ongoing diary. Ready for the new Day to dawn then as well!~

RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Lord Windos - 09-28-2020

(Pyra doesn't have much to say about Kogeki's answer since he more ore lss complied with her 'requests' and suggestion, so I'm ready for the new day whenever.)

Team OS heads back to their room, Kogeki's words heavy on everyone's minds.  The night passes peacefully otherwise, however.

It is now Day 4.

In the morning, Karen's woken up by a knock on the door to the team's room.  She gets up to go answer it, rubbing her eyes groggily.  As soon as she opens the door, though, she perks up a lot, and everyone else wakes up as she loudly announces the identity of the pokemon that came to pay them a visit this morning.

"Marcus!"

[attachment=1101]

"Hey there, Karen!  Everyone else awake yet?"

"Not yet, but let me go get them!"

"I'd greatly appreciate it.  I've got a job for y'all today, so I'll need to speak to everybody."

"Of course!  Come right on in!  Make yourself at home!"

Once everyone's awake and gathered around, Marcus gets right down to business.

[attachment=1102]

"So, I need to call in that favor you guys owe me.  Ever since Machamp Construction purchased the rights to the land around the Secret Quarry, I've been getting all my stone from that company.  There's no finer rock on this continent, best as I can tell.  But..."

[attachment=1103]

"...recently, the shipments have stopped, and I'm starting to run low on stone to use for crafting materials.  I'd go check what's going on myself, but Machamp's main mining operations are in the middle of a Mystery Dungeon for Arceus knows what reason.  So I'd like at least a few of you guys to escort me there so I can see what the holdup is, and ideally, get a little material as compensation to tide me over until the next big shipment.  Shouldn't be too difficult, and I can hold my own in a fight, unlike some of the pokemon on the quest board asking to be escorted around.  If you guys do this for me, I'll call it even.  Doesn't have to be now, either, but I do need to get it done within the next day or two since I have some things to craft for customers that need some good stone.  Can I count on you guys to help?"

Story Objective: Escort Marcus to the end of the Secret Quarry

RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 09-29-2020

At first a very tired and grumpy growl emerges from the guitarbag Ziggy Kee snoozes in - that's his response to the knock on the door. Then there's lots of shuffling noise as he turns and twists in his half-asleep-and-half-awake state and therefor messes around the many Items and papers within+around him - it answers that loud talking from at the door between Karen and the assumed visitor. Kee kinda feels like he KNOWS that voice of said visitor, but groggy and dreamy as he is in the morning's he can't quite fathom it... The grumpy growling turns into snarling as Karen does her very best to nudge and shake the curled-up crittercoon awake. "Am awake, am up, stahp that, lemme alone 'lready....." [(--)]..zzZ

It takes him a while, but eventually Ziggy Kee is definitely up and about as in 'gathered around with the others listening to what Markus ("Oh... KNEW I knew that voice, hahaha!!")' has to report. He gets an eager and ready two-claw-salute from Kee, despite he looks kinda horrible with his fur yet uncleaned and all too ready to curls up into a fuzzy furball for more rest from how he's having issues keeping his deep-red eyes fully open. "Got it 'n understood, Marcus!~ *surpressed yawn* Might nat be t'day, but we'll get t'ya once bein' ready to go. Uh, what... kind of MysteryDungeon is that Secret Quarry, d'ya by chance know? Sounds full of Rock Type'd Mon I feel."

".......!!!" Kee's jumping all of a sudden and within a second or two, he looks like he has been JOLTED AWAKE with a double-critical success. His tone of voice switches to 'excited and full of curiosity' and expression to one that suggests pure mischief and eager to get stuff done. "Marcus, Marcus, pwease listen! I wanted t'pay ya a visit this monin' anywae - once we're done talking, can I follow you to yar house, please may I, got some stuff collected that I wanted to show you, see whether it's suitable for the craft I've been thinkin' of!!1!"

If nobody has any objections to this, I'd have Pyra already up and wandering the halls of the Guild before Marcus' unexpected wake-up call for the rest of the group, simply because the lil' fiendess typically sleeps against doors or walls near entrances and therefore she'd normally be the first one to respond to anything going on with it. Since Karen got to it first instead of her I need an excuse for that, and the easiest one is that she is just not there anymore. As for why she was up so early, it would be because of Kogeki's yesterday proclamation putting her in an uneasy mood/thoughts throughtout the night, and so woke up early + restless and decided to burn that energy by pacing around the Guild and further ruminating on the issue.

(Should that all be fine, then I'll wait to do anything else [or have anything happen] with her until the group is done with Marcus for the time being. If not.....well, I'll think of something else then)

RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - no one - 09-29-2020

Dax has a sound and dreamless sleep, but being abruptly woken up by Marcus causes his instincts to go on overdrive as he leaps out of sleeping spot and searches around, before realising he's back at the guild headquarters. He walks over to Marcus, stifling a yawn as his grogginess catches up to him, now that they know it's a friend.

"Oh, hey there mate. It's the crack of bloody dawn. I'm hoping you have a good reason for this unannounced visit." he says sleepily, staring at Marcus through bleary eyes as he listens to Marcus's request. "The Secret Quarry you say? We'll help you, definitely. We might have to plan it out a little though, because we recruited a couple of Pokemon yesterday and it might be a good idea to 'break in the newbies' as they say. I heard you can't travel in groups larger than five, so we'd need to plan the groups a little carefully. What do you lot think?"

RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Spiritmon - 09-29-2020

Kogeki wake up when Marcus appear and greet everyone. "Heya Marcus. It's been a while friend. How business as been going?"

Then Marcus explain the plight of his problems with good details. "Hmm, looks like a serious problem. You help us quite a lot, so we indeed owe you a favor. However, we need to do a few things before going to do your job. We need to sell a few things. I also need to take care of a few problems with A the Guildmaster master daughter. Speaking of which, I need to go there. I might find her. Excuse me."

Kogeki then after the conversation with Marcus decided to talk with Floette. Perhaps she knows where Braixen is. "Good morning Floette, can you tell me if Braixen is somewhere in this Guild? I need to talk with her."
