Hey All! - John Tsoukalos - 11-06-2016

I am new to the pokemon uranium forms.  I was a frequent lurker on the old forums before they shut down.  I don't normally post on forums but I may just do it on here.  I am a long time Pokemon fan back to Gen 1 when i was a little kid.  I would like to just say hello!

I play a lot of games but my main ones right now include Overwatch, Hearthstone, and Pokemon of course!

Welcome to the forum!  I guess at this point I'm not really a newbie anymore, but I registered for the new forum and started posting last month, and it's quickly become one of my favorite places on the Internet.  Hope it becomes one of yours as well! Big Grin 

Lurking is fun, but participating is funner (this is coming from someone who has lurked forums in the past but is glad she posts in them now!)... you never know what fun new friendships you'll forge! Smile

Thanks!  Probably Gen 2 followed closely by gen 1.  Nostalgia is a huge factor for that though.

Oh my, your favorites are exactly like mine. I guess there are few people like us out there.
Their music, the storylines, the designs, etc. were all exceptionally good, right? Actually, I have quit playing pokemon gens since black/ white because I cannot find those old feelings anymore.
Back in the days when I first played pokemon gen 1, my English was terrible, and I was like, "next next" when playing video games (which is truly embarrassed). Can you believe that I evolved my bulbasaur to venusaur (by fighting cool lvl 2-4 pidgeys and rattatas until lvl 36) before leaving Pallet town because I didn't know how to remove him? Huh. These days, the Internet was not popular and I must find the secrets myself.
I thought those memories were lost forever then I found Pokemon Uranium ... Blush

Haha I agree with every one of your points.  Wow you grinded him up until level 36?  That must have taken ages!  Yeah the internet kind of ruins the not knowing aspect.  Ill admit that I too easily look stuff up nowadays when I should put in the time to figure it out myself.
