I'm sure the servers will be back up soon.
I think this is just a lesson that we should make sure the servers can take the stress before planning a big event haha

lol, I don't think it's entirely the events, since the problem was with the host site according to L
Servers can be upgraded, repaired, or otherwise adapted to handle traffic surges. The server was new and the event happened to test it too much. This sort of stuff happens, especially with Pokemon.
