*Blink blink*

You....you find yourself awakening, bundled up in a little cot on the floor, right up next to a flat-to-the-ground bed. Looking around, you see that you're in some sort of....sea sack of sorts. Very spartan, but still have the bare necessities of living and some modern amenities like a fridge and stove. Despite you waking up in a completely unknown and uncertain place, mind fuzzy - you can't for the life of you remember what happened after meeting Uxie - you feel....safe and welcome. A home away from home.

The door to the place is open. Leave, or indulge in your latent Sylveon genes and be curious as you can be?

A fridge and a stove - no-one else in sight, though? Sylvia's instinct is to find a person to needle with her curiosities before poking around a potentially private space. She'll take the door, looking for someone to ask what how she got there.

Not much progress made in this Round, but at least your partners didn't get screwed over by bad Luck for once!

Moar Sand, moar chaos!

To keep things simple for both of us, Crustle repeats the Sand Attack/Feint Attack combo

Since you can't stack the Sand Attack debuff that way (Debuffs only stack with different sources, EX: Debuff From a Move and Ability can stack, but not from two different Moves) , I'm going to flip a coin a see if they instead Strike and Faint Attack or decide to give Rock Blast another try. Heads Strike, Tails Blast

*Flip* Tails!

The Spar Carries On!!!

Fire Fang!
*Rolls* Hits!
*Rolls* Crustle takes 2 Damage; 6/10 HP!
(5)(5) No Flinch!
(2)(5) and no Burn!

Rock Blast 1 - 3!
Growlithe attempts to Dodge'm!
*Lots of Rolls*
Hit Two Times!
Damage: STR 3 + 1 + STAB + HS - VIT 3 + 1 SE = 3D6 + 1 Damage!
*Rolls...* Growlithe takes 7 Damage; 2/10 HP, - 3 Pain!!!

And with that the Spar comes to a close as the smoky puppy hastily beats a retreat to their master's side, who gives them a comforting pat before turning to look at you and nod.

"Find match, young one. Started off rocky, but I suppose you had to shake off some rust too, ha! Have a good day, and hope your Whilipede swiftly recovers!"

All your Pokemon gain + 3 XP; You gain + 1 XP

Minor Encounter concluded: what else do you want to do? 2 Moderate Slots and 1 Minor Slot remaining.

Not a soul - you're completely alone in this lil' hut.

You unbundle yourself from the well made nest and exit the shack....

...and discover you're on a small little island, with crystal clear waters and pearly white sand. Strangely, though, the scent of the sea is absent. The only sound you hear is the wind and various bird calls.

Straight from the shack was a small pier, and their was somebody perched right at it's end.

INS Roll
(4)(2)(5) (2)(4)(1)(6) + (4) 5 Successes!

From what you can glean from a distance, it looked to be an older man dressed in a tacky Alolan-esqe shirt and toga pants. Bald and dark skinned too, and completely at ease. They appeared to be fishing, though judging by the empty bucket they hadn't had much Luck yet.

Bugs heal quickly, especially young ones like yours, so it doesn't take any Encounter to have them healed up at all with the level of injuries they sustained!

You can still elect to spend a Moderate Encounter helping out at the Center, however - plenty of creative ways you and your insect friends can assist, especially with Aaron helping vouch for you (he's relieve and happy you're behaving and taking it easy)

As for the Battle, it’s still a fairly stormy day, so finding  someone willing to Battle in this mess is easier said than done. Do you have any idea of where to look for Trainers for a quick 2v2 ? Otherwise I got to Roll to see if you stumble upon one or otherwise….

(Sorry , afk atm . In the meantime use this as a chance to brainstorm or message the others - Seddi likes being kept in the loop, for example.

(Hmm maybe Bayhama Mega Ports and Marina? Since you mentioned about some trainer battle there. Maybe I could find something interesting there? It's a good place to at least visit too perhaps. That's gonna be my Moderate Encounter for the day if you don't mind Windos.)

(You got two Moderate Slots in a day, mate, don't forget!)

Going hunting for a good scrap around the salt and hard tack side of the city, huh? Well, let's sea how that turns out!

Finding A Double Battle: Seaside Pursuit!
Base 7 Roll - 2 (Terrible Weather for a Battle, Wouldn't you say?) ; Minimum 3 Successes needed to get exactly what you wish
(2)(6)(5)(6)(5) Well alright then!

As you weaved your way through a large shipping yard you find a old woman leaning against the side of a shipping container, watching a bunch of sailors load cargo on and off a sizable frieghter while puffing on a big fat cigar. Their skin a deep windsor tan yet strikingly wrinkle free, long salt white hair in a pony tail underneath a equally white captain's cap, and adorned in a white/grey coat (think one piece navy, but a bit more hard tac), this was a quintessential Veteran of the seas if you ever say one.  Helping sell the image was the Toucannon perched overhead and what looked like a Ratfitti with a sailor's cap on sulking in her shadow.

How you going to approach this?

Oz was walking though the shippyard, looking at the amazing ships coming and going. When she was even younger, Oz dream in going to other places, wishing to see the world as much she can, and help as much people she can outside of Sutalor...and away from her home and "family". She kinda receive the wish she wanted, but...not in a way she wanted. "I guess the old saying some evils go for good, goes in the same other way around: Some good things come in bad ways. At least I out of home. Although...I do miss my granny and grandfather. They were the only good ones aside Persephone, Fortuna and..." She decided not to think this time. She remember Tiffany words. She slaps her cheeks, trying to get out the funk thoughs from her mind. "Control yourself Oz! Keep it together girl!" She looks around and see and old woman. She had some intimidating aura with her...but at the same such...strengh! She looks really cool. Specially the Toucannon and the little rat Pokemon. She don't know what that rat is, but this tip her curiosity. The woman doesn't look the type of person who wants to be disturbed, but Oz can barely hold her curiosity. She approach her, and trying to sold as much welcomed as possible, she looks around, seeing some navy person working maybe working around, and all the old structure of this place. "This place sure looks amazing. Like...each structure hold a history behind. Its...interesting to imagined that way." Oz said looking at the place. "Sorry if I...disturbed you. I was...walking around this place and kinda...get lost. And taking shelter somewhere from this storm that is happening."

To Bernhard:

Understood.  I'll make some time tomorrow to meet with you.  Tomorrow afternoon, maybe?

And that's the text.  Even shorter and more to the point than usual.

Seddi also sends another message to Professor Sada, Oz (@Spiritmon), Dodger, and Ianai.  As the other people directly involved in this mess, they need to be updated as well.

The situation with the Wandering Hurricane has changed.  Morgana decided she needed to meet with me this morning to tell me she would handle it.  It appears that our services are not required anymore for that specific task.

The message has a slightly better undertone to it.  Seddi's not entirely happy about having to deliver that message.

There's an additional addendum specifically for Oz:

We still need to arrange that battle you wanted.  I do suddenly have a lot more time on my hands now, so scheduling time for a friendly spar should be easier.  Won't be today though.  Leaves is out cold.  Something to do with that skip we experienced, I imagine.

Oz did check her phone and see Seddi message. She though for a few seconds and then send her message.

Heya Seddi! Sorry in not sending a message sooner. I was busy these last days. Working hard to adopt a certain pokemon for adoption. I...gladly we do not need to handle that disaster so soon. This makes me a bit more relief. Although part me wish we didn't had to rely on Morgana help.

Sure thing Seddi! Still need to train some new Pokemon who arrive on my team who need to strech their legs too. Things might also been interesting since I working to get another member to my team, so we might make it possible a 6x6 combat! Just ask you to be a little patience since the new members still need to get some experience before facing you. Against a Ace trainer such as yours a girl needs to be prepared right? Don't want to embarassed myself in the coming battle! Also, did you have any news from a Espeon called Sylvia? She does mentioned your name and wanted to learn more about her and if she have any method of contact her.

Taking this opportunity, Oz decided to send a message to Bernard/@PhantomUnderYourDesk. She still a little wary about him, but their last interaction, she feels a little more...open with him.

Good afternoon Mr Samsara! How you doing? I...I just want to thank you for yesterday conversation. It did help a lot. I also wanted to talk with you later if possible. I get some essence after going to the Institute and...well...got 4 vials of it, and wanted to give you something since it was not possible to convince Fortuna in give any of her feathers. Are you interested on it Sir?

Wanted to learn more about her other companions she decided to send a message to Vernon/@Iron.

Hey Vernon! Oz here! Sorry if we didn't talk much in these last days. They been really difficult quite a while. Since we gonna travel together for a while, I wanted to know you a little better. If you feel comfortable of course, I don't want to be a burden. How you have been these last days?

And another message send to Akumu/@Redstone to see how his doing since he was also a target from Jonh gang (and because they didnt get a lot interactions in the past, and could be good to Oz understand more of her teamates).

Akamu heya! Oz here! Wanted to ask you if you are okay and if you had any problems with that gang again. And see if you are okay too. We didnt had enough time to chat between us, and since we gonna travel together for a while, I wanted to...you know...chat a little maybe? How you been doing these last days?

Sylvia approaches him calmly, doing her best to not silence her footsteps in an attempt not to startle. If he doesn't respond, she'll jump up onto one of the piles at the end, putting herself in the edge of his sight.

Miss Salt and Pepper glances over to you, looking unsurprised by your appearance. She removes her cigar and puffs out a thick Haze of smoke as they eyed you, her gaze sweeping you over and turning over every little detail. Almost feels like you're back in school in front of a stern teacher, yikes!

"...Today's a slow day. Not much to interrupt."

They flick off some ash to the side and stares you down, keeping direct and firm eyesight.

"...Look more than lost. What brings you here? You're out of place. Especially in today's weather."

Their voice is predictably rough and scratchy, no doubt from their smoking habit, but it was still deep, still powerful, and still commanded plenty of your attention.

The man doesn't react as you make yourself known to so deliberately. He just keeps on quietly fishing as you perch yourself right by, a simple look of relaxation all too evident. Now that you're closer you notice he has extremely bushy eyebrows, to the point they obscure his eyes entirely. Doesn't seem to hinder him much at all, really.
