RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 02-01-2020 Hmm...interesting encounters. I could use a Flying type indeed. It's could make a interesting synergy with Aspido new Earthquake move without the danger in hit my own Pokemon. Not to mention when a Pokemon have a "*" it's because there is something. I take encounter 1. Time to put the Ninja frog into action. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 02-01-2020 Forgot to mention: Kogeki swap items in his party. Heracross carry Kings Rock and Gama Shell Bell. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Dragonstrike - 02-01-2020 Threw together a quick Google Sheets doc for map creation. It's simple right now, but I think it might be able to get the job done. Here's the link so you can take a look. Thoughts? The main downside to this method that I can see is that I can only insert images into it from the desktop version, so I can only update it with new tiles if I have access to my laptop or have the tiles copied into another (private) sheet already. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Lord Windos - 02-01-2020 (02-01-2020, 10:00 PM)Dragonstrike Wrote: Threw together a quick Google Sheets doc for map creation. It's simple right now, but I think it might be able to get the job done. Nicely done! Makes the Dungeon look a whole lot neater, with it laid out like that in black! Right now the map isn't too large, but depending on how we roll for the rooms we end up going into, that map could get much, much bigger. Especially if we decide to explore more of the Floor after we find the Stairs, to train up or attempt to find more loot and useful Pokemon. Of course, The Wind could end up prevent our exploration from getting too widespread, especially if it actually kicks us out and forces a redo on our part. In that case, I wonder if their is an limit to how many tries we can attempt the M.D. before the whole world ends and/or the B.B.E.G. of the plot just wins through time running out...? Ohhh, nicely looking and rather convenient!~ Though I think I'm going to stick with drawing my own map of the floors on checkered paper, just because I like doing so. ^v^ Now I kinda wish that the PMD-Series had a function to disable the auto-creation of a map while you explore and instead let you draw your own on the touch screen, like in the Etrian-Odyssey-Series, but I guess that's too much to ask for. Oh, and I'm going to pick the Encounter with Braviary because I want to try my hands on a Tough one. That's something I doubt I'll be doing with my existing tile images since I don't wish to spend ages trying to draw additional details on them. You can turn off the map entirely in PMD's settings iirc, but yeah, that's not quite the same as Etrian's map system. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 02-02-2020 Lets try a nice approach, since I dont have much dice to try a four action. Man, I really need to increase Gama Dex when get the chance. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 02-03-2020 I think I had forgot to mention Gama has Shell Bell and Heracross has Kings Rock. So Gama had heal a bit. I forgot in mention that in my post because I was stupid so let's leave at this. Let's patch those wounds with Heal Pulse. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 02-03-2020 Whoohooo! My first evolution in this campaigh! Awesome! Also Dragonstrike, a little question about evolution. According to the Pokerole RPG Tools, the stats of Ralts and Kirlia is more or less like this: ![]() ![]() Is the stats of Ralts get a upgrade upon evolution? I curious. They do not because Ralts's current stats already equalled or exceeded Kirlia's bases. If they had been lower, they would have become equal to Kirlia's base for the stat upon evolving. |
