As Bernhard attempts his offer, though, Sylvia has made up her mind - she may as well play along.
She slips between the two of them, walking across Bernhard's chest to rub her back up under the lox's chin. It's not a seduction attempt, exactly - more of a distraction and re-direction.
Intent: redirect the lox's attention, get them off of Bernhard (he's taking it well now, but she knows enough about his character to suspect he's not fully comfortable there, especially given the crowd).
Trust me, Azure one - he's not worth your time in *that* department.

Regardless of what you pick for your Super Rare 'Bonus' , your pinic to a park goes smoothly. The Dodrio , while initially fueding over which head got the yum yums, quieted down once you divided them up (though one head tried to get more than it's fair sure once, only to get Headbutted by another) . Gobble the Fruit down like you expected, before quickly zonking out from a food coma. No Loyalty or Happiness yet, but you're proving yourself reliable to the Big Bird, which may be just as good in the long run.
It need not be said that your lily duck absolutely Pignite out on the scrumptious fruit, letting out a hearty and Happy *Sigh* ....before promtply begging for more. What a glutton! +1 Temp HP to the duck; another Big Meal or two and it make become even MORE Overgrown!

Failure to find them could (and probably will) lead you into scenarios or places well out of the norm, considering the *how* of the Umbrelong's method of travel.
Alternatively, you can just let Myra hang out with you for the day, or spend a Minor Encounter returning them to the Magi Embassy for Bernard to collect/reunite with later (She'd tell you the directions) . Inexplicably, you two find yourselves in a small park, complete with bushes, Long Grass, Trees, a small stream and who know what else. Surrounding it was tall, tall skyscrappers and great high walls: the only path in and out was the one you just came through, complete with a Red Torri Gate. Right in the center is an old but remarkably well kept shrine - you two can't tell if it has been maintained or been abandoned and miraculously has remained preserved. It had an august, storied air about it, yet it was not at all Intimidating. Nay, you say it was downright welcome, not a hint of Ill Omen or Intention (Oz' Sisters can attest to this).
You have 3 Options for now:
1. Turn Back
2. Explore the Area Surrounding the Shrine
3. Entire the Shrine.
Each of you can take the same Option, or split them up amongst yourselves.

He double checks that Oz @Spiritmon is addressed in the text, since this whole encounter is definitely healing-related and the Egg might be too (or might not!)
Vernon has also begun devising a feeding schedule for the Risuko and Luvnom berries.

Either way, Sylvia would like to approach the researcher as a minor encounter: Keeping herself as calm as usual and using Common to address the scientist, she'll stroll up before sitting down in front of her and speaking.

In that case this will be a Moderate Encounter - Passion is a bit skeptical about offering this Egg to anyone it hasn't meet and vetted yet, but your stellar First Impression has been quite Effective at getting them to at last humor any offers from your friends/companions.
You have *Looks at notes* 1 Moderate and 1 Minor Encounter Slots Remaining, with a later trip to the Docks/Elsewhere to try and Bond further with Cruz on the docket. You want to get to that now (Which Slot), or is Vernon still interested in poking around Main Street/elsewhere?

*Flips Coin* Myra elects to stay with you, after mulling it over and deciding she was not exactly in the mood to meet up with her Master now after THAT nor did not want to be left by her lonesome. Even if she didn't exactly gel well with your company - though, again, the Offering and recent shared experienced help smooth over things to an extent.
You get a startled jump from the frazzled lady, but once she realizes you were actually Speaking with her she perks up and introduces herself with gusto, very interested to meet a Special Mon like yourself. After some pleasentries, when you raise your question they slump, a dejected look on her face.
"One of the...*Looks at you* uh....residents of the lab I work on escaped recently. Little minx managed to Trick me and subvert the safety measures that were supposed to keep our.... residents in. *Frantically waves arms* For their own safety and the public's, of course! They can be quite....volitle and intense, eh he he. *Sighs* Now I'm on the hunt for xhem before they cause any trouble, or worse, managed to, uh...."
The researcher blushes.

WIth your astronomical Insight you easily catch what she mumbles, and more or less can read the lines of what happened: turns out that Glowy Fox was an escaped experiment from some Lab in the city. Considering how it has already Bonded with you and 'Caught' it/herself a Trainer, you don't know whether its a good idea to say anything about this and leave them to piece together what happened later, or just be upfront and accept the consequences thereof...
