You had this all planned out, didn't you, Windos?

Windos, always a Master Mind behind the curtains

Considering I recently had Weavile learn Snatch (cuz it's an amazing move in pokerole and Weavile is the best darn thief ever, no question), I decided to take a look at how it works in the games...

And it steals a whole lot more than just stat boosting moves there...which surprised me, because that's all I've ever seen it steal since I've never seen it used to steal any of those other move effects before...(though how many players can say they have when barely anybody uses the move in the first place and the move descriptions in RSE and Colosseum/XD aren't spectacular?)

Yes, there are similarities (as Windos likes to point out), but there's also some pretty big differences.  Mostly in their backgrounds.

Yeah. But they similar in one important point: They are outsiders.

That is true, but for rather different reasons.  Nathan never really tried to fit in, while Reiner tried to fit in a little too much...still, they're both trying to forge their own paths now, so I guess the end result isn't too different on a basic level.

Actually, I can't remember if I've told you Reiner's backstory yet...well, if I haven't, the most important parts are on the first page of this thread, so the information is easy for the players and readers to find.

Man, what tough backstory. Evolve a Seadra to kingdra I think its not enough to banish someone. That elder is a bunch of SoB

Well, I didn't exactly elaborate on just how dangerous Kingdra is when she gets out of control...and she has 4 disobedience, so that happens pretty easily.

It probably took them at least a month to repair all the structural damage Kingdra caused when she evolved...and that's not including the residents she injured in the process (which includes Reiner's father).

Kingdra also has a strange tendency of getting set on fire despite quad resisting fire attacks and Scald.  So...yeah...out of control, angry, disobedient dragon seahorse that's also on FIRE and is buffed with Dragon Dance and Focus Energy with the Sniper ability...not fun.  Reiner was lucky the Elders didn't do worse at the time.

Like kill him or something?

No.  He just experienced much the same thing Kyubi just did: getting blasted through a wall by a Crit.

...except because it was buffed by Sniper (and because Kingdra only used a single action), he also suffered a back injury that paralyzed him from the waist down, confining him to a wheelchair for an unknown length of time.
