Kogeki was about to send a world of pain towards Rolycoly. He had his kunai really close to Rolycoly but he said some words. "I also no on the forgiving mood today. Like Pyra said, if that Rolycoly was able to betray once, what guarantee we have he will not try again?" Kogeki put his kunai close to him, and then point towards the charcoal Pokemon. "However Pyra...information could be pretty useful to us. And you. This a fair price Rolycoly, since you and your group attack us first. So...you better answer our questions...or else..." Kogeki said such words with such severity it was cold like a shard of ice.

Rolycoly seems to be very, very flustered with a sharp object pointed at their single eye. "Uh...um...uuuuuhhhhhh....*gulp*..."
A silent moment passes as Daxter, Pyra, Kogeki, and Rolycoly just stare at each other while everybody else is busy with other things.
Then Rolycoly starts talking. Really, really fast.
"LookIwasjustfollowingordershonest! Ididn'twanttobepartofthatgroup! Theyforcedmeto! Pleasedon'thurtmeeeeeee! There'stoomanystrangethingsgoingonherealreeeeeeeaaaaaadyyyyy!"
They seem to be on the verge of tears, and Daxter sighs.
"Well, at least they seem to know something about what's been happening here. Look, Kogeki, can you at least put the sharp object away, please? Maybe they'll be less cowardly and tell us what's going on here if it doesn't look like you're going to stab them."

Kogeki wait for a few seconds after hear Dax words...and then swing his Kunai, about to stab Rolycoly. But he on purpose miss the attack, hitting the ground close to Rolycoly. "Fine. I will check the fallen Rolycoly if they have something useful. I will also gonna syphon some auras. Been a while since I take a aura."
"But you better don't do anything funny Rolycoly to any of my friends. Or else I will tear you apart limb by limb with my blade and my bare hands. And I will make sure you have the most excruciating suffering you ever felt in your life before dying if you dare to hurt or do something who can endangered them. Did I make myself clear Rolycoly?"
Kogeki said those last words with both calm and pure assassin instinct behind those blue cold eyes. He doesn't trust a bit that Rolycoly, but for now he will follow Daxter suggestions. He hide his Kunai in his back and decided to check the other Rolycoly.
Action: Check the Rolycoly bodies if they have something useful and syphon some auras.

SpoilerPyra could only blink at the deluge of excuses the now thoroughly panicked Rolycoly sputtered out, momentarily snapped out of her viscous vindictiveness in the process long enough for Daxter to get in another word edgewise. She mulled it all over, before with a half-annoyed *sigh* she backed off from the useless lump of coal, walking over to the aquatic salamander's side, now sporting a remarkably dead-pan, unimpressed, though not entirely unsympathetic smile as she just watched it. The fiery demoness still didn't care all too much about the Rolycoly for the stunts it pulled, but she couldn't fault the underlying logic of why it attacked the group in the first place. A Leader's Orders and command must always be followed and adhered to the best they could, after all.
Still didn't make her any more inclined to like (or it's former allies, for that matter) for the assault itself, though, and especially not for them turning traitor, so she was perfectly content with letting the phantom brave continue to menace the 'poor' minion and suck the lifeforce out of its kin. At least she's not making things worse, though, right?
For now, Pyra is going to let Kogeki and Daxter handle the Rolycoly, unless they do something that warrants further Intimidation from her.

Rolycoly jumps (an impressive feat considering it has no legs) when the Kunai embeds itself in the ground next to it. They seem to be paying very close attention to what Kogeki is saying.
The three unconscious rolycoly don't seem to have much of particular note on them. The timid one, however, watches in wide eyed terror as their 'comrades' twitch uncomfortably when Kogeki starts siphoning their auras.
Daxter sighs again and focuses his attention on the only conscious rolycoly. "They're not gonna hurt ya. I think. So, can you tell us what's been going on in these mines now?"
Rolycoly stares at Daxter, still wide eyed and terrified, and stammers a response.
"C-carkol...m-made a deal w-with...someone. I think. D-don't know w-who. But n-now there's...st-strange pokemon in the tunnels...p-particularly the ones up a-ahead...C-carkol insisted o-on m-mining all the c-coal after they arrived f-for s-some reason..."
"What kind of strange pokemon?"
"I d-don't know. They l-looked d-different every time I've s-seen them. I have a b-bad feeling they're up to n-no good..."
Daxter thinks it over for a moment before he responds.
"You didn't want to work for that...Carkol, was it? So how 'bout you work with us instead? It'd be better than trying to survive on your own, right?"
Rolycoly glances at Daxter, then at Pyra, then at Kogeki, before turning back to Daxter, still looking terrified.
"Pyra, Kogeki? I think it'd be a good idea to have some more recruits, don't you? It'd probably do the little guy some good to have some time away from here too, I think. I have a feeling they've been through a lot recently. I doubt they'd turn on us if we don't give them any reason to mistrust us."

She then gives the living lump of coal a cordial bow, sporting a remarkably calm look of acceptance
"I welcome you into our group, minion. Trust you, have faith in your capabilities and Steadfastness to us, I do not, but accept you fully and completely I shall. Mayhaps in time and effort shall bring between us a better accord, but for now, regardless, our standing will not be abhorred. You have my promise no harm shall come of you from us or me, unless you first do harm by us unjust and unneededly. Do your part, aid us in our Quest, our goals, our growth, and we too shall do the same for you. Thus is such, and such shall thus. Again, I say to: welcome to our group."

Collecting and packing away all the coal took Ziggy Kee a while, but eventually he's done and zigzags back towards the others; he excitingly jumps forwards and exchanges curious glances (and a smile) with everybody. "Pheeewwww, all loot c'llected an' stored. Ya're all fine an' good, ready t'get a move on?~" *his glance falls onto Rolycoly, and his smile becomes wider* "Oh hey, ya're still there - you okay? Bein' one of us now, a new team member then...?"
And then Kee steps a little forward, giving the rocky 'Mon a gentle lick as a welcome. "Well, be heartily greeted 'mong us then!! ( ÒωÓ)و☆ Do great, strive t'do even greater an' r'member that I'll always have yar back!!1" As he speaks these last words Kee rests his deep-red eyes on them, probably as a way to express silent comfort and confidence in them given how obviously distressed Roly appears to be. "It's good t'have a local of this straaaange place with us, yar insight on what-dafaque happened here may prove 'ncreadibly valuable~"
Finally the furry punk-raver stretches himself and looks around. "Let's keep goin' then folks, shall we? This...side passage here-

That's all Rolycoly has to say in response to Pyra and Kogekis' warnings, but they don't seem to be opposed to joining Team OS despite being too terrified to say much that's coherent.
Presumably, Kee takes the Adventure Badge out and uses it to send Rolycoly back to the guild (Kee actually being nice to them beforehand seems to be a huge relief), and everyone gathers back together to continue onwards.
Marcus had been watching Daxter, Pyra, and Kogeki from the sidelines, staying out of the bulk of the conversation itself but keeping an eye on it (not secretly, though). He seems to be quietly contemplating something when everyone groups back up, and doesn't seem to be feeling particularly chatty right now.
Karen, meanwhile, had been attempting to calm Hoopa down. The djinn went on a small rampage of sorts trying to assure itself that its powers still worked to some degree. After a few near mishaps involving some rocks being warped and tossed around at increasingly high speeds and some comforting words, Hoopa seems to almost magically be back to its cheery self. Karen seems to be a bit exhausted and out of breath from the ordeal, though.

Everyone continues on through the side tunnel, away from the tracks that Carkol fled down. The tunnel goes for some time before opening up into another chamber. When it does, though, there's quite a sight to behold.
A large, yawning chasm is immediately in front of Team OS. Dark as it is, small pinpricks of pink light can be seen glowing in the depths, though it's impossible to tell how far down they might be.
Across the chasm is a narrow cliff with what appears to be ruined tracks running across it, the pathway broken, winding, and leading who knows where.

One end of the broken pathway is visible from where the team is currently standing, and they can see that it leads into another tunnel. Fascinating as it is, though, most of the group's attention is held by those strange pinpricks of pink light in the dark depths of the chasm. What could those possibly be?
Marcus happens to be the one to spot something odd near the entrance/exit of the other tunnel, though, sharp eyed as he is.

"Hm? Hang on, is...is one of those small, pink lights over on that ledge as well?"
And once he calls attention to it, everyone else sees it too. A small pink light just inside the opening of the tunnel on the other ledge. Except this one looks significantly closer than the ones down in the chasm's depths.
"What do you think it is?"
"Oh, I dunno. Could be a lot of things. But I do know that it looks like it could be valuable!~ Shame that I can't just warp over there and see what it is right now. Can barely muster the energy to teleport a stone, apparently, let alone teleport myself by swapping locations with one of you lot...ugh...I cannot wait to get my hands on whoever sealed my powers!"

"Well, whatever it is, I don't think we're going to be able to reach it from here. Unless anyone has some bright ideas for how we can cross this huge chasm that won't get us separated?"
"Maybe there's a way around? That other tunnel has to lead somewhere, right?"
