Caution about selling the Rocky Helmet: those Items are REALLY Rare and hard sought, since chip Damage on Contact EITHER WAY (aka whenever a Contact Move is used on the Target or BY the Target on a Foe) racks up FAST and only gets better the bulkier a Mon is. If you're still interested, however, you could easily trade it away for around $10000 .

A 'mere' mystical and unique Held Item like the CHS is arguably less valuable, though its flexibility of being either a Mystic Water OR Dragon Fang with Healing Upside is desirable in of itself. You could find someone willing to part with $5250 for it.

(All Sell Prices are AFTER the Mod)

If you have the Poke you can go for it! If not, you could always try to Trade Away some of your Supplies to get the necessary amount of Funds to get this limited time TM...

Seddi is able to get this message around the time he enters the Private Booth with Oz, so factor that however you like @Dragonstrike .

CHS sold for $5250, Draco Meteor Bought for $7500

Draco is taught to Ecclesia to her probable delight, a new powerful weapon to destroy foes. Lani is given the rocky helmet for now.

[Also spending 24xp on akamu to increase Fight to 4 and 12xp to put Brawl to 2]

Bloody - Computer borked and deleted the post, so you're getting bridge notes while I go mald over dinner now...

- You got the Draco Meteor TM, and was extra Fortunate in that it had 2 Uses instead of 1 (6) ! You just can't stop winning! Ecclesia is indeed THRILLED with learning such AWESOME DRACONIC MIGHT and nearly tramples you into a uncharacteristically sweet nuzzle-cuddle. + 1 Happiness and GREATLY Boost Loyalty ! Gloomtail also expresses [I n t e r e s t ] and STRONG [W A N T] for Draco Meteor too; that could be the tipping point in actually getting the grump to like and respect you a tad more, though beware giving a 'Legend' even MORE POWER to use...

- You're entered into the Sweepstakes - Buy More = Better Odds of Winning Big!

- Choose next Encounter, but you're going to be on pause for a bit while I catch the others up - feel free to RP with your Dragons or text the other PCs though!

(Not too much to add since im going to bed but)

Gloomtail will get that message that he'll have to earn that Draco meteor through respect, but he can have it once he is ready.

"I can handle both secrets and a little doom and gloom.  Don't exactly have the most happy story myself, after all."

He glances at Dite, once again seeing how scared they are and thinking about how alone they must feel right now.

"We can get to that later though.  If you need ideas for where to start, just start from the beginning.  Everything starts simple at first, right?"

Ceruledge is sitting by Seddi, diligently by his side.  She nods in agreement with him, her eyes closed as she remembers their own origin story.  Yes, simpler times.  Good times.

And when those eyes, glowing with white hot flame, open again, they look straight at Oz.  Almost seem to look through her even.

A look of fascination.  Curiosity.  But also some measure of respect.

And she gestures at Oz to begin telling her tale.

RE: [Game Thread] Lord Windos’ PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Spiritmon - 05-23-2025

Oz look straight at Seddi and Cerudge. She think and and thinks...Trying to find the words needed to express the turmoil in her soul. Any method to tell him her secret. The reason of what happened...

She look at ground, and then close her eyes. "...To start the tale...I think I should show you who...or rather "what" am I." Oz looks at Fortuna. "...Fortuna. I think its time. I trust Seddi enough to him."

She approach Fortuna, and with a sad look on her eyes, Fortuna will understand what Oz is about to do.

...And reveal Oz true self.

That gets a surge of [ G r u m p i n e s s ] and [ I N D I G N A T I O N ] , but seeing as He's trapped in the Ultra Ball until Freed he can't really do anything but just grumble at how unfair it was. Considering how they came under your lead, though, and such sentiments fall flatter than a Stunkfish . In other words, no brownie points with the BGD for being Reasonably Cautious!

Slash

Razor leaf
acc: dex+ fight + channel -actions - pain= 6d6
damage: strength + MS+ STAB+ 2= 7D6
notes: high crit, all foes in range

Actions: If the Dragonfly is at 2 or less HP, Darren will use an Ultra Ball on it, the pseudo bug might come in handy later

Current Status:

Chloe - 8/11 HP, Trapped in ST, - 1 Pain
Vibrava - 7/9 HP , - 1 Pain

Round 2 Start!

*Pwoosh!*

Dragon Breath 1!
(5)(6)(1)(6) Hit!
3 + 2 + 1 - 3 INS = 3D6 Damage
(2)(2)(4) Chloe takes 1 Damage; 7/11 HP!
(5)(1)(1) Nope!

Feeling a bit miffed at the pretender insect ruining her beach trip with her Master and getting pseudo-scorched, your normally Happy silk spinner decides to be a little more....punitive with her Move.

Extra Lethal Slash
8D6 - 4 (EL) = 4D6 Dice
(5)(4)(4)(4) Slice . Extra Lethal Critical Hit
6D6 - 3 VIT + 2 Crit + 2 EL = 3D6 + 4D6 Damage
(1)(5)(6) + (5)(6)(2)(4) Vibrava takes 5 Lethal Damage; 2/4 Effective HP, - 3 Pain, 5 Lethal Damage
(2)(2)(1) No Bleeding

Chloe manages to nearly cleave the fake bug in half, a certain savage, vindictive joy in her expression as it let out the most horrible *Bzzzzz!* This is what you deserve .

Before things could get worse you took the chance to make a Catch - one that the Vibrava couldn't hope to dope with its injuries and the horrid Pain its in.

Ultra Ball Seal Strength 6 vs Vibrava's Will (6) + Disobedience (3) - 3 Pain - 1 (Webbed)
(5)(1)(1)(6)(1)(5)
(5)(3)(3)(6)(5) Nope
Does the Ball Break?: (6) Nope! It's still in good condition too!

Vibrava wastes no time in trying to burrow away away away!

Dig 2!
DEX (*1) + Fight (3) + Brawl (3) - 4 Actions - 3 Pain = 0 Dice. Whomp whomp - time for Luck Die!
(2) Eh-nope.
*Rolling Fortune...* Trios - Three Threes

Three things happen in swift order for the draconic nymph.

First, it got stuck in the hole it was trying to Dig.

Second, it's gapping wounds were no longer help shut by the String Shot and further widened by the abrupt failure of the Move.

And Third and Last, it's scrambling caused a Big Pointy Rock to be Dug up....and bury itself right into the wound, with some added grit for good measure.

Vibrava spasmed violently as the Rock Dug In...before just.....going limp. Dead.

Something which pleased Chloe, judging by the happy little claps and jitter bug dance she was doing over its corpse. Smore looked fascinated and impressed by it all, but once the oddly sweet yet earthy scent of the false dragonfly's blood hit her she started vibrating in excitement and drooling. She gave you a pleading, oddly Baby-Doll Eye look: Will you let her eat the Vibrava ?

haha I love that Pwee is a glutton even for water. Cool mechanics for this, too.

Lapras is a tryhard mon. Vernon will approach the Wailmer's owner and ask what tricks it knows and where it was obtained.

You approached the man, a soft faced and casually dressed settler with a tired yet proud face as he patted the side of his Wailmer comfortingly, going 'There there, we can always improve' . Getting his is easy, and though he was slightly hesitant at first to share or engage in conversation your ever affable demeanor manages to get both man and whale to crack smiles and be drawn in.

For Tricks: Their GIGANTIC Water Spout was supposed to be their ticket to the Bronze Leagues, but some bad mistiming on the beach ball's part cause it to 'short circuit' the Move and end up blasting the routund Mon out of the pool and nearly flattening a judge. He does share that Rain or using it after a Dive would have likely made them pull it off without a hitch, but such set-up is more reserved for Spectacle rather that Power dispaly.

For Where: He mentions fishing one up off the south coast of the Mageocracy while on work vacation there - he's a software designer and hobbyist Water Pokemon Watcher -  and becoming fast friends with the (then) abnormally small and runty Wailmor, getting a tearful smile and nuzzle from the Mon in question. For anywhere closer has got the man scratching his head for a moment, before mentioning that MAYBE you could find a stray one that has wandered off from one of the big pods in Deep Water and Far Away from the coast of Bayhama. Getting there without getting eaten or seriously waylayed on Pokemon Back would be a challenge (to say the least), while getting a boat geared up enough for that would be pricey. Either way you CUT it, getting a Wailmer was not the easiest thing unless you had connections and a LOT of Poke.

The Bronze Pokeathalon is about to begin - you still interested in joining, or has Vern got what he wanted out of the experience and is ready to wander off once more? If the later this would only count for a Minor Encounter and I'll calc XP for you and Pwee pronto, as well as any Loot you might obtain for giving up your spot to the next aspire in line.

"Thanks, man. Watching a runt grow up into a giant Wailmer is gonna be so cute. Wonder if it will be runty by Wailmer standards."

After consultation with Pwee and the rest of the team, Vernon continues. Do you use the same Pokemon at each tier, or is Vern supposed to design a Spectacle with a new Pokemon?

The fellow shrugs while his Wailmer has a thoughtful look about the hypothetical situation. On the one hand being a 'small' Wailord would detract from its species greatest strength (BULK), but on the other hand it would mean less food bills for their Master and greater ease of just...finding places where they could hang out that was not the coast or some specific buildings/areas. Something for you to think about, if you one day get a big blue of your own.

As for your Questions: Once you Qualify for a Tier, you're free to either use the same Pokemon throughout the competition or switch things up. For the Spectacle Categories their are pros and cons for either strategy. For 'Solos' , if you have a Mon that is REALLY good at Performing and/or you got a good rapport and Performance(s) practiced with them then you're focusing your energy and efforts into a singular, strong contender. The cons, however, is that this can tire out most Mons, make you predictable to the Competition, and the judges themselves can grow bored or disinterested if you don't have a vast repitore of Routines with you Mon or a lot of creativity.

For 'Full' , you have your whole team to draw from in terms of experience and capability for an act - one could be Pwee's Dive Bomb for one Round, then Munchlax doing a Juggling Routine or Something the next, for example. However in that case your whole run is dependent on your whole team being up to snuff, and as we all know a chain is only as strong as its weakest link...

You don't have to fully commit to either style, but with the First Stage of the Bronze Spectacle Competition you'll have to decide if you want to repeat Pwee's Routine, come up with something different with him, or use another Mon entirely. Hmm...decisions decisions....

Your Fortune Witch looked up at you, a surprised look at what you were requesting. Seeing the Resolution, the Sincerity on your face....your raven grew serious as she gave you a singular nod.

So be it.

Then, she *hopped!* and flew over, landing on your shoulders. Despite her weight you do not bend or Stagger - you have long gotten used to this.

She bowed her head, eyes closed, then spread her wings wide open, Focused and Waiting....

....You took a deep breath.

*Phooo...*

Brought your hands together, clasped against your chest.

*Phwoosh*

And then pushed them forward in a joined, open palm gesture as you

Blew out

Special (*11) + Survival (*4) + Channel (*7)  + 2 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5  : 8D6 Dice
(4)(5)(2)(6) (4)(2)(2)(1) 4 Successes
(5) / 2 = 2, rounded down

A billow, bracing, yet oh so invigorating stream of air suddenly rushed throughout the Room, at the backs of Seddi, Ceruledge, and of course Fortuna and Oz. Being so....gently held yet spurred on by the wind.....you all feel like you could push your limits like never before.

Invigorating Winds in Effect: Halve the Cost of using Will for 4 Rounds, or outside of combat for about a minute, Rounded Down.

The wind....the Magic you Evoked, made your hair dance beautifully, your dress almost dancing in a mesmerizing pattern as your eyes briefly *flashed* with Power.

...Then you staggered, clutching the side of your head as you suddenly felt light-headed and dizzy. For a moment you thought you'd cough up blood again, but thankfully the moment passed, leaving you just....Tired.

Tired....yet feeling more alive than ever.

Oz' Will Decreases by 2; She is now Tired and Dizzy ( - 2 to Invocation and Social Rolls) .

Everyone's reaction?

Glinda simply closed her eyes and bowed her head in support. Fortuna was gently rubbing your shoulder and cooing soft, soothing tunes. Bethy looked plain stunned, Meza was jolted out of her funk as she keenly observed the winds, and Dite.....

...They where still scared. Scared....but just a little curious, staring at you with the smallest morsel of Wonder.

Ceruledge was looking over themselves in mild surprise, not used to feeling so free, before looking up to you with greater Interest and Respect than ever.

Seddi ( @Dragonstrike ), though?

Well....that was up to him.
