RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Lord Windos - 03-05-2020 (03-05-2020, 07:54 PM)Dragonstrike Wrote:(03-05-2020, 07:51 PM)Lord Windos Wrote: Also got a question for you, Dragonstrike: Could Lucky Chant combo with Paula's currently not yet learnt Aqua Ring and/or Perish Song? Or is that something I have to get Ran to experiment with in game to get any answers? Fair enough! Part of an RPG is figuring out this sort of stuff yourself, so I don't mind. Now I have to keep an eye out for Moves that have non-corebook and/or game synergies, as well as finding the time to experiment.... As an FYI, I probably won't go too crazy with those synergies, at least to start with. Lucky Chant is sort of a special exception because a portion of it is literally entirely up to my discretion, so I figured I'd do something fun with it.
RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 03-06-2020 Wait, according to the Core book and the app of Pokerole, Ralts evolution line can learn Lucky Chant using 17 XP. And Kirlia right now have 24 XP! I might be able to pull off such combo soon next time. Thats a pretty awesome combo indeed Dragonstrike. Can you confirm that information Dragonstrike unless you want to make changes? Edit: Actually cant, since I read the post and a Pokemon must know both moves. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Dragonstrike - 03-06-2020 Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX came out today, so updates might be slower while I nerd out and enjoy the game
RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 03-06-2020 Oh nice, enjoy, have fun and do tell which Pokemon you are and which partner you picked, just curious!~ ^o^ I kinda like the artstyle of this remake, but it just doesn't feel the same to me if I can't perform A-attacks anymoreee *sobs and is forever emotionally attached to ExplorersOfSky with its brilliant pixelart and merciless ZeroIsle* RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 03-06-2020 (03-06-2020, 11:57 AM)Dragonstrike Wrote: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX came out today, so updates might be slower while I nerd out and enjoy the game And I will be a bit occupied with my Temtem duty in my breeding projects. And clean my Temtem PC since there is only 10 boxes. I'm gonna start carrying around gravelrocks and spikes as a substitute, even though they were never part of my regular inventories previously. I hope this game does well enough that they make a new entry in the series and remake Explorers one day. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Lord Windos - 03-06-2020 I'm interested in the first Explorers remake too, but I'm not getting it caused I both don't have a Switch and am still boycotting Nintendo's products, so I suppose this is another potentially good game I'll miss out on. No neutral attacks? That's....an odd design choice they made, since it was there to help conserve Move PP and later combo with certain IQ Skills to become both powerful and reliable , but if Sticks and Rocks are still around its not too big of an issue. That, and PP isn't usually much of a problem except in the mega Dungeons. On the topic of the campaign......I feel somewhat like got stiffed by the amount of XP everyone got from fighting Diamond Steelix and the Coal Onix. 7 XP for Pokemon and 6 XP for Trainers for defeating three super huge, bulky, and special Pokemon, a bonus boss Encounter in all but name? Low, too low, even if you account for splitting the lump sum XP among everyone that fought and the Items gifts given. At least, that's my opinion on it. You don't have to change it at all if you feel that the amount gained is perfectly sufficient , but I myself will feel that such an epic battle is undermined by such a lackluster XP outcome. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 03-06-2020 Cant you increase just a bit more the XP. Like, 9 or 10 XP each Pokemon and every trainer get at least 8 XP. It was no easy battle against such powerful foes. And it was not easy battle @Dragonstrike. But, considerely the nice rewards we get, the Egg and the Splash Plate, I guess the less XP is understable. But how about the plan of Windos in Dig the rumbles and see if I can still capture the Blue Steelix? RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 03-06-2020 I forgot to ask, did Aspido get luck again after such time to restore his Sitrus Berry? I kinda have only 1 Sitrus Berry left. |
