...And they open WIDE as they spat out a glob of vibrating cyan energy that plunges right into him!
Immediately the Malignant Curse is violently expelled, a purple-pink gasous haze being blasted and purged out of the appreciator of chitin with great haste - you swear it was trying to run away from the Wish's Potent Energies. Then, the boy is enveloped in that same cyan glow for a few moments, your vulpizard intensely concentrated on....something.
Then, it was over and the Umbrelong padded away and slumped down, Tired (- 1 Will, Worse Combat Rolls) but...seemingly content with the work its Wish did.
Looking at Darren, as the light faded you noticed he was indeed No Longer M.C. , and that the worst of his Bleeding had stop, Stabilizing his Condition but still leaving him with his nasty injuries and (from what you can Sense) SOUL Damage.
....He also is sporting a pair of fuzzy, fluffy purple-pink-red moth-like antenna sprouting from his forehead by his ears, the red parts faintly glowing for a moment before dimming to a shade remarkably similar to that of his Smore's....
Welp.
+ 1 Channel to Darren; Can Understand and Receive More from Bugs and ??? Pokemon. Is now More Than Human (??? ???) - Raise Cap to INS to 6 OR can Unlock Special for 100 XP
Further Treatment can begin; at this point Akamu ( @Redstone ) will have arrived by now.

Darren, besides sporting his new and distnct features, was Stablized: he was not going to keep taking bodily Lethal Damage. The harm you Sensed on his SOUL, however...that is a touch trickier for regular mortals to handle. A Healing Wish from Nirix would certainly take care of that form of Damage, however, from what you can confirm from both the pure unicorn and Zephy.

Hmm... Okay, I'll met Akamu and Seddi arrive at the scene and react at first. The most important thing - Darren being not cursed neither at risk of dying anymore - has been achieved, Bern's very pleased and relieved.
Dear Equinox - she/they actually receives lots of praise and words of thanks aaand gentle headpats: "...You saved a life here. My utter gratitude, my dear." Yes, this kinda makes up for Bern's former wrath and anger with her over....she having snuck out to secretly watch my former minor encounter.
If possible, recall Nox before Seddi and Akamu arrive. if that's not possible, refuse to answer any questions about this new companion of Bern.

@Redstone : Akamu arrives on horseback well after initial treatment of Darren has past. @Dragonstrike and @Spiritmon : Not Here Yet, Unless they Are do to Shenanigans (Will Edit Later/Flashback and Retcon as needed)
Nox gives a tired *Mmmwwvvvrrrrmm...* at your praise and affection, and they/she makes no protests being Returned to their/her Ball ASAP - nobody will see them. It/she always enjoys affection, and successfully pulling off a (mostly) safe Wish left them/her feeling....proud about it.
On another note entirely, she is entirely remorseless about said Sneak Out - shame, what is this emotion you speak of? Is it something I can eat or play with?

- 4 HP to Akamu, though your wound is already slowly healing; Nirix CAN patch you up with HP if you want to keep 'donating' with Bern's permission, however.

You also receive a scolding look for pushing yourself so suddenly, though her own worry for you and your friend outshines it fairly easily.
Glinda looked a bit uncomfortable with that suggestion, but at your pleading look and the grim seriousness of the cowboy she let out a put upon *Sigh* and nodded, taking Fortuna's Ball from you - and said raven giving a nod before hoping off your shoulder and landing beside Seddi - before walking over and giving the man a formal bow.

Akamu would receive a deep sigh, then a plain shake of my head and a "...Unfortunately, I do not, Akamu. I'm deeply sorry. However....", he takes a loooong look at Darren, "...I do bet he can tell us later." *takes a look at a pocket watch, then sighs again* "I missed 4 Winds group and Muse's Voice choir, I wanted to see and hear them..."
We'll let Akamu donate blood and have Nirix patch him up if needed. And once he is done AND Seddi arrived and reacted, also do cast Healing Wish to patch up Darren's soul damage. Oh dear, oh boi.... You BETTER have a good explanation later on.
