Eat Nightmares you motherfucking Steel Dragon! You might the only Steel Dragon in the Pokemon Franchise, but we will beat you up! Tracton is a Pokemon of Uranium, so its doesnt belong in the Cannon Franchise (But it should...) You had to remind me of the Pokemon I hate more? Gen 8 doesnt count. I refuse to admit that abomination in the form of Lighter is a Pokemon. It is a mistake of nature who I refuse to acklowdged and put fire and send to the deepest pits of hell while its species wiggle in agony for the grave sin of exist. Along with the person who dare to create the desigh. ...What we talk about? Just for the sake in not trigger Metal Burst, it is enough for me. Excelent. As long as I didnt use Special Attacks like Focus Blast, I pretty much okay. Shame though as I was excited in use her new move. In case I use Psywave or Night Shade, it will trigger Metal Burst Counter? Those are classified as Special Attacks. Shoot. Welp, at least I have Nightmare, Peck and Recover to better recovering. Also mate, if I use a Potion on Nami, it will count as last third action correct? RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Lord Windos - 03-10-2020 All I have to say about the first Round: Simply great! Our plans went off without a hitch, and we've already got past the first threshold against the beast! They still haven't yet used Roar of Time to wreck a ronni us too, so that's a blessed relief! That Shadow Rend, though.....hopefully it only aims those at Giratina! Paula's staying in, of course. It's Ran's best Pokemon against the Time Lord, and he'd probably be too shocked about their Mega Evo to think about switching them out. Also Giratina distracting him will probably keep addling his thoughts, no matter their reassurances. He'll calm down a little, though, if only in a meek way. Noticed you're cribbing the format of UN's Final Fight, and that Sleep Mechanic for Dialga is awfully similar to how Buzzwole acted while using Sleep Talk, and that makes me so happy if you're taking some notes from my book! To Spirit, it's fine if you still use Focus Blast against them , just make sure to have a Potion and/or Recover qued up for them afterwards if the reflected Damage is too much. Like I and Giratina said, we need to get all the knocks in on it before it really starts aggroing! Trainer items are trainer actions, and happen separately from pokemon actions, so they don't count against Dialga's limitation on the number of actions your pokemon can declare. Scizor's a special case since he has no trainer, and his items are VERY powerful, so he has to expend an action to utilize them mid-round. I'm also hiding Dialga's max HP and exact HP thresholds ;P I did like how you handled the Legendary fights for the most part, so yeah, I did take a little inspiration from some of them. Keeps the fight tense if the player(s) don't know how close they are to ending them, so that's why I kept UN's HP a secret (and to hide the fact that it was a 2 part Boss Battle) ! Yay! Hopefully my future ideas for boss battles in future campaigns will be just as fun and inspiring! Also, I do like the take of constantly keeping track of the Damage Dealt to the Legends, as that's reassuring to see how much is pumped into them and can approximate how close to Faint they are. Problem is with Potions if I recall is the case they only happen after the Pokemon spend all of its actions, normally happening in the last action (as far I can remember). Could you confirm that information Dragonstrike? At least Trainer dont count limitation according to what Dragon said. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Dragonstrike - 03-10-2020 (03-10-2020, 09:29 PM)Spiritmon Wrote: Problem is with Potions if I recall is the case they only happen after the Pokemon spend all of its actions, normally happening in the last action (as far I can remember). Could you confirm that information Dragonstrike? Not after the last action. After each set of actions, also called Turns. For a visual example: - Pokemon Actions 1 (Nami's 1st action to Espeon's 1st action) - Trainer Actions 1 (After Espeon's first action, but before Nami's second) - Pokemon Actions 2 (Nami's 2nd action to Espeon's 2nd action) - Trainer Actions 2 (After Espeon's second action, but before Nami's third) ...and so on until everyone has spent their actions for the entire Round. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Lord Windos - 03-10-2020 Yes, Trainer Actions have Negative Priority, but you can give Conditional Orders about Potion Usage if need be if you're afraid of one being wasted. Okay, Round 2 Brainstorming: What's your Battle Plans, any Insights gained, and thought of anything new that could help us gain more advantages / deal with less bs ? My working plan is to use Return first, Potion them ASAP, then Round + Draining Kiss. Should be sufficient for Damage, and help minimize it taken by Paula for the Round. Don't have any new ideas right now, but I'll let you know right away if I do. |
