RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 03-11-2020 Looooolz that Init-Order's pretty nice. My plan of Action consists of copying some more boosts via Psych Up in addition to the batonpass'd one, then hit hard with pixilated Return and Swift. I think I could also attempt to clash a move from Dialga or have Octavia jump in to 'absorb' a Dragon Type'd attack from Dialga for everyone, but I'm a tad bit too concerned about them being able to hit fairies like normal due to Plot Device. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Lord Windos - 03-11-2020 Called it with the Initiative Shenanigans! Didn't expect you to be merciful enough to reset Potion Effectiveness mid-fight, but I did call all our INIs getting scrambled! Though it seems that the Time Lord's Plot Device didn't help it any in the slightest, because yeouch that dead last INI. I think my previous plan before the INI Change still stands, but I think now I should probably lead with Charm, then go into Ran Potioning/Super Potioning her, and then Round and Draining Kiss. If Scizors is really at 1 HP right now, it might be prudent for somebody with a Hyper or Max Potion heal him up, as we don't want to lose a turbo charged Mega Fighter like him, but then again if he does Faint then that means somebody else can cram another Pokemon in their former spot that can better out Dialga/screw with them, so decisions decisions. Question for Dragonstrike: Does Magnezone know any Paralysis Moves, either Chance Inflicting or straight up Infliction based ones? Given that the Dragon of Time is partially made out of metal, it would probably be possible to electrically Paralyze them, everyone. If you can have them use Psych Up on Scizors, then that's a + 3 Attack Boost in general (Well, + 2 for Special, since it'd override the + 1 from Calm Mind), which would make for some very potent Fairy power! This plan has my seal of approval, so go nuts with it! Yeah....I wouldn't risk that until Dialga accidently nails one of the Fairies with a Dragon Move or uses Roar o' Time, as the chances of that are not to be discounted. An Explorer is always prepared. What Scizor lacks in raw Strength, he makes up for in good use of items.Magnezone has moves that may inflict Paralysis and Confusion. And also has Tri Attack. Whether those status effects are effective on Primal Dialga remains to be seen. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 03-11-2020 Hohohoho. Oh my. I not gonna say anything because by experience I know when you show overconfidence, Lady luck smite you. I think I have a Hyper Potion with me, but I was planning in Nami attack with a Focus Blast and then use a Super/Hyper Potion depending of the amount of damage she would receive back. Since we need to beat Primal Dialga very quickly. Hmm....I don't have a problem with that, but if I recall correctly Nami is still hurt/not healed yet, so it may be to her best interests to use Nightmare (Non-Special 1 Damage), heal with a Super Potion or Hyper Potion depending on how much HP she has after Shadow Primal Dialga attacks, THEN go into Focus Blast and use the last slot for whatever you wish (preferably a Flat Damage Move, but anything works really) . If Octavia can Psych copy Scizor's Boosts, then I don't think it matters if they get KOed soon, since that means the group (or Lucas really) gets to summon a more suitable Pokemon in their place (Like Sally) . RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 03-11-2020 (03-11-2020, 04:44 PM)Lord Windos Wrote: Don't sweat about it. Nami didn't get any damage in the previous round so you can calm yourself. I don't think Focus Blast as second action is not a good idea. Its already difficult to use in the first action: De(4*)+Fight(3)+Channel (3)-Accuracy(3)-Action(2)=6D6 4D6 of accuracy it's a bit difficult to pull of. And if Nami get any pain...I prefer to try Focus Blast in the first turn. Although...Dialga still under effect of Telekinesis. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Lord Windos - 03-11-2020 Oh! Forgot about that! Sorry mate, then your default plan is a-OK! Focus Blast , then whatever Damage Moves you want following the Big BOOM up! RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 03-11-2020 Alright people, after thinking for a while, I planned my action: Focus Blast After that Super or Hyper Potion to counter balance the damage Metal Burst do as my trainer Action. Nightmare because any damage counts. And finally, Night Shade. Or maybe Dream Eater in case Nami target to Dialga beserk state to recover her HP. How this action plan sounds. Unfortunately, Nami is a special attacker, and all her moves are special with the exception of Peck. And a flying move is not exactly useful against a metalic dragon. RE: [Meta Thread] Dragonstrike's Pokerole Test Game: Mount Coronet Mystery - Lord Windos - 03-11-2020 Your plan and Phantom's look sound to me, so I gots no problem with them! Since I haven't seen any complaints or advice about any of the other charas Orders that hasn't been already addressed, that means unless anyone has any last minute comments, we're free to make our posts now when we can! |
